Banquet Rooms
Our two private dining spaces host events from 12 to 80 guests. The second-floor banquet room requires a 30-person minimum with customizable buffet packages, while the first-floor Galleria accommodates smaller groups starting at 12 people. Both spaces offer dedicated event coordination and family-style Italian dining experiences.
Gourmet Pizza
We serve traditional Neapolitan-style pizzas using a recipe perfected since 1978. Options include classic Margherita, meat lovers, and specialty pies like Spicy Grandpa with pepperoni and sriracha-honey glaze. Available in personal, medium, or large sizes with gluten-free and gourmet toppings including fresh mozzarella and house-roasted peppers.
Italian Cuisine
Our menu features authentic Italian dishes beyond pizza, including housemade pastas, seafood entrees, and classic entrees. Signature items include Chicken Cacciatore, Lobster Ravioli, and traditional Sunday gravy with housemade meatballs. We offer lunch portions until 3 PM and full dinner portions daily.

I grew up coming here as a kid. Knew the family and the chefs. I've been bringing my own family for years but my latest visit needs some improvement. There was a lot of wait time from the moment we entered to being greeted and served, as well as in between. The waitresses were uncongenial and they never brought out my second drink. Far different service than all my previous visits.

Dark and dingy.maybe that's an Italian atmosphere, but I wish I had left. The food was ok. But way too expensive for dinner. However, the waitress did the best she could and i commend her. I will never return to the dark interior seating. (And it was a bright and sunny afternoon outside)

Great lunch deals, portion sizes and gluten free options. Outside dining tables (8+) under the trees makes the experience ever more pleasant. Clean restaurant and restrooms too with pleasant staff.

Love Alfonso's. We were a party of 7. Our table was ready at our reservation time. The place was packed inside and out. Graduation night, antique car night, beautiful night, masses of people. The service was excellent, food perfect, excellent night for the family.

Great pizza and Italian fare. I always get the upside down grandma but their normal pies are good too. Wife loves their white pizzas, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Usually stop by here every other week. If you're looking for good affordable Italian in Somerville Alfonso's is the place to go!

We went in for lunch today. Had the shrimp and scallop scampi over linguine. Fantastico! Our server was Joe and he was a friendly and personable. It was a great lunch, food and staff top notch.
