Poe's Catering was founded in the late 1990's as an alternative to the typical catering at the time. Poe's believed that catered food should have the taste and feelings associated with homecooked comfort food at scale. Lance Poe started the business at his house and has grown from there to a full commercial kitchen and large reception hall. Poe's catering is happy to be locally owned and support other local businesses in and around Springfield.

Located just outside of Sherman Illinois is our over 5000 square foot venue that is perfect for all your needs. Separated into distinct spaces we can accommodate any of your catering needs. The large room can accommodate three hundred people for large parties, anniversaries, or weddings. The smaller room can hold up to one hundred people or be separated into smaller spaces for team meetings, smaller birthday parties, or any of your space needs.
