The service was good and fast. Place was clean and the food was priced well, but I ordered a chipotle shrimp wrap and the shrimp still had tails on them. I'd understand if it were a mistake and one tail got left on, but every single shrimp in the wrap had its tail on, and so I had to pull them out individually and remove each tail. The wrap tasted great otherwise though. I just thought it was either weird or lazy to leave the tails on.
I didn't say anything while I was at the restaurant because I don't really like to bother people, but they were nice enough people, so I'm sure they'd have taken care of it for me. Idk. Just an odd experience. Edit: every time I've gone back since this original event has been great. The food is wonderful, the staff is fantastic, the prices are surprisingly good for the quality of the food. This is a good place and I had one bad experience with it, and it's been great ever since, so ima hit them with the 5 stars because sometimes people just have bad days, and that day has not proven to be an accurate reflection on this place.

Have dined here twice now. Both times was a pre-set menu. The first time was Valentine's Day and the second Mother's Day. Our first visit was great. The food was excellent as well as the service, but the second time both were lacking. The atmosphere is quaint and they have a small bar area if you have to wait for a table. Maybe done on a non-holiday and you might have a different experience.

We have only been to Johnson's Cafe for lunch since we live elsewhere and are only there in the afternoon, but I think based on our lunch experience their dinners should be very good. The food was very good (and nice portions), the service very good and the price is reasonable. My wife is still raving about the Roasted Brussels Sprout Salad. Definitely recommended.
