Based in Winchester, KY, Thompson Catering began as Thompson's IGA Food Mart, serving grocery shoppers throughout the state nearly 70 years ago. The last grocery store was sold in 2000 with primary focus shifting towards catering, event planning and party equipment rental. Our current line-up of catering and event professionals have a combined work experience of over 150 years in the hospitality business. We are a turn-key operation designed to allow you, the customer, to enjoy your party and mingle with your guests instead of worrying about a multitude of vendors.
