Visited this Neighborhood Gem after some time but we're not disappointed We had the best host in Anton and food was just scrumptious. Two thumbs up for this Italian unassuming neighborhood place.

I went here for brunch over the weekend. We opted for the $30 brunch deal with bottomless champagne and a main dish, which was a fantastic deal. The food was good; I'm not much of a pasta person so I don't know how it compares, but I enjoyed it. Our server was attentive and our champagne was truly bottomless. The downside is that it is cash only. Also the person we talked to when getting seated was kind of rude to us which gave our meal a bad start, but once we were seated everything was much better.

Best brunch spot in Lakeview East. Service is always fast and friendly, you barely finish your mimosa before they have the next one in front of you. Food is fantastic. Make a reservation because they are always busy. Cash only.

The bread Was hot and was perfect with the butter and garlic! The clam chowder was damn near nuclear in temp Lol But was great! The whiskey I ordered Was more than I asked for Perfect The french dip The bread was great The meat was clearly fresh cut And huge amount! But had virtually No flavor? Even the aus jus Just seemed more like hot water Virtually no flavor I have had alotta French dips Over the years But something was amiss Not sure if this was a fluke? As it was my first visit here But Place was nice Service Was on point

I visited this restaurant for the first time on 6/4/22. I heard such raving reviews about this place from multiple people and I was VERY excited to try this place. Unfortunately, the customer service was subpar. The server treated every other table with exceptional service from my observation. The server and possible the chef/owner checked on certain tables, but never our table. We were truly treated like an after thought.
Our behavior, my guest and I, continued to be very cordial even with the unimpressive service. The food was just okay. Due to this experience, this will be my first and last time visiting. Hopefully, if you decide to go here, you will receive much better service and quality of food.

I come back for dinner 15 years later and it still has the same great food, wine and staff as it always has. I'm so glad that this place is still here and I couldn't recommend it more. If you haven't tried it, go today!
