Archer's Meat Packing

Archer's is one of the oldest businesses in the old towne of Greenwood, est. 1966. Founded by Ron Archer, it has remained a family run business including, Chris, Bobbi, Shaun, and Kenny. We have provided premium meats, meat processing, and catering services in central Indiana for over 40 years. Located in downtown Greenwood, Archer's Meats features quality cuts that are HACCP compliant and State of Indiana Inspected.

Archer's Meat and Catering provides complete food and beverage services for your catering event. The menus are suggested for your convenience and can be changed to meet your needs. Our meals are served buffet style. Serving time is 1 1/2 hours. Included with your meals are: Disposable plates, forks, spoons, knives, salt and pepper, napkins and any other condiments relating to your meal. We can provide China Service and a sit down meal for an extra charge. Linen Service can also be provided for an extra charge.

From the local farmer bringing in his own beef for processing to the city folks looking for an exceptional quality of beef.

Side beef provides our customers to save time and money and have high quality, locally raised Indiana Beef. As of 1/1/2022 the price per pound is $3.99 of the hanging weight of the side. Typical beef sides will weigh anywhere from 350 to 400 pounds (hanging weight). Below is a listing of commons cuts that our customers commonly request.
