Tacos Zapata

I hired Tacos Zapata to cater my 6/24/22 wedding and it was a great experience all around! Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the catering team was very professional and left a ton of leftovers! Communicating with Edgar prior to the event was always very easy and he responded quickly. We originally booked him for our 2020 wedding but Covid had other plans for us.

He very graciously stuck with us as we changed our date twice and everything worked out in the end. We also patronize their brick-and-mortar restaurant and are never disappointed. You can't go wrong with Tacos Zapata!

Wow! Edgar and crew completely exceeded our hopes at my husband's retirement party. Edgar was excellent at communicating by email and phone, and patiently answered my many questions (and changes) over many weeks prior to the event. The night of, his crew was very courteous and timely, and the food was delicious! We heard compliments from guests about the salsa, guacamole, and just general compliments. The crew also cut and plated many pieces of cake for us, at no charge, even though I offered to pay extra. I can't recommend this business highly enough!

This was the second time we've had tacos Zapata at a large gathering. Both times were super easy to pay/plan, and our loved ones raved about the food! The young gentlemen who set up for the event were timely, polite, and efficient. Truly no complaints! This will be our go-to for large gatherings for as long as they are available.

Prompt, on time and very friendly! The staff was awesome. And the food was incredible. I heard multiple times this was the best "taco man" and was asked for their contact info over and over. The meat was grilled perfectly and they had every accompaniment you could ask for. Will definitely use again.

Extremely satisfied with Tacos Zapata. Excellent communication leading up to the event, and the service at the event was great as well. Food was delicious. Leftovers were packaged nicely and work area was left clean.

We recently had a gathering at our home where Tacos Zapata provided the food for 30 friends. The tacos with all the accompanying sauces & side dishes were delicious. We chose carne asada, carnitas & chicken. Yum! Everything from setup to clean up went flawlessly, and the friendly servers helped make our event a wonderful experience. We highly recommend Tacos Zapata!

Local mom and pop type of restaurant. The Menudo is really good and they will customize it for you upon request. For example if you only want the hominy and no meat they will accommodate you. The flour tortillas are home made and are delicious.

Tacos Zapata catered an event for us at Florence Avenue Foursquare Church in Santa Fe Springs. We were very pleased with their service. They arrived on time and set-up and were ready to serve quickly. They were prepared with everything they needed & were very professional. All of their supplies were clean and they had a nice display. Their staff was friendly and communicated well with our church staff and members.

The food was excellent and I received great feedback from our church. I highly recommend their service to anyone looking for a great Taco Company. Booking them was fast and easy also. They are easy to work with and I will definitely use them again.

We had Tacos Zapata cater my sons graduation party and it was truly the best catering experience we have had to date. The food was incredible and the employees were amazing. They were on time, eager to get everybody fed and very personable. We highly recommend for any event.

Excellent service. Great food. Edgar the event coordinator provided excellent customer service and attended to all of my questions. Very puntual. They definitely gave me a good first impression as first time caterers serving the event I had a couple of weeks. I had never used them before so they met my expections. You're defintely on my good list. Way to go guys!

Tacos Zapata catered a graduation party in our backyard and there food and service was outstanding. They were responsive to questions before the party and arrived on time. They brought plenty of meat for the tacos. The food was served hot and guacamole was great too. Just a couple of minor things and hence the 4 stars. There were no beans left and very little rice left and we had fewer total guests then what we catered. Also, the carne asada was ground beef which tasted fine but is not steak. Our guests preferred the chicken. I would definitely use them again for another party.

Tacos Zapata was fantastic from beginning to end. I highly recommend and would gladly hire them again. I was extremely pleased with the communication effort from Edgar. He was always in contact with me and explained everything in complete detail. The day of the party they showed up on time, set up quickly and quietly. The two guys serving were very very friendly with huge smiles.

The whole process was smooth and effortless for me! The food was excellent! Many of my guests went out of their way to say how delicious the food was. I ordered chorizo, salmon, lengua, asada, grilled chicken, grilled veggies and jalapenos. I also added many of the extras. It surprised me that the meat choices I wanted least (but ordered to satisfy some guests) like grilled chicken and chorizo ended up being my favorite! Hands down, best taco cart experience I've ever encountered!

Had an event at work. We had two different shifts. One @ 8:30 am & Taco Zapata didn't bat an eye at the early time. They were great! Food was good and our employees really enjoyed it! Pricing was very competitive and response time to my numerous questions was quick. Thank you for making our event memorable!

We had a housewarming party yesterday and the guys at Tacos Zapata were there for us. Aldo and Carlos arrived at our house a little before their scheduled time and were up and running quickly. several of our guests made the comments on how great the food was. the guys were friendly and professional. they served the great food and at the end they happily fixed to go containers for the guests that wanted them. we are super happy with Tacos Zapata and will use them again when we need great food and service

We stoped a little late but the lady was very helpful and polite. Food was delicious. I really enjoyed my dinner.

Everything was amazing. I had Tacos Zapata cater a birthday party for 50 guests. From the quote to any questions, they were extremely responsive. Our servers arrived on time and were more than professional. The spread was beautiful and our guests were happy. Thanks for everything!

From beginning to end Edgar and the Tacos Zapata team has been great. In the initial quote period, Edgar was very responsive in providing a detailed quote and always let me know next steps to book. He also sent confirmation emails 2 days ahead of my event so that we were on the same page. His team showed up right on time the day of my event, was super professional (even wore masks even though my event was outside).

They came prepared with all equipment, set up everything beautifully, and the food was delicious. This is the second time I've hired Tacos Zapata for taco catering and I will do so again!

Tacos Zapata exceeded our expectations- great communication, great food, great service, fair prices. Communication regarding quote, scheduling very prompt by Edgar. Day of event, team of Isaiah and Carlos were amazing, showing up on time and managing the entire process smoothly. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food immensely. Very high quality, fresh and delicious, plenty of food for our party of 35. Leftovers packed up for us, and great job of clean up. Would definitely use Tacos Zapata again.

I had al pastor tacos. super good. Came with a grill jalapeno! Yum but don't eat the seeds. SO SPICE!

Tacos Zapata catered my baby shower of about 35 people and I couldn't recommend them more! The communication was wonderful from the beginning! They arrived early to ensure the food was prepared and ready to be served on time. Everyone loved the food and we got to keep so much for the next day! Everyone at this company is kind, respectful and professional - I urge you to hire them!

Came in for some tacos and was not disappointed. They were delicious and the staff was super nice. It's like having mom's cooking. Would come again for taco Tuesday.

Tacos Zapata catered for my baby shower yesterday and I am very happy with their service. Communication with Edgar was easy for the booking and confirmation. The price was reasonable for everything that was provided: 3 meats, chips, guacamole, red salsa, green salsa, onions, cilantro, carrots, rice, beans, plates, napkins and forks. They also made cheese quesadillas which was included in the price.

The guests loved the food, the taste of the meat, and everyone loved the option of the quesadillas! I requested for service for 50 people (49 people showed up and ate) and it was plenty of food. There was tons of food left over which was packed up by the servers for us to keep the left overs. The two young men who came to set up and serve were very nice and did a great job.

They set up everything very quickly, had great Communication during the event (informing us when food was ready and at the time of last call). They set up and cleaned everything up so quickly and quietly I hardly noticed them during the process. Overall, I am very happy with Tacos Zapata and I would definitely book them again in the future!

It is just the best! They have a grate special on Monday-tuesday $1.00 tacos, come on and joint hunger and flavor to get satisfied

This place is simply awesome. Workers are so nice, friendly, and always smiling with a nice word to say, even if they are extremely busy. I love this restaurant.

Had 2 tacos and 1 sopes all carne azada baby. Brought them down with some cold jamaica and made them so tasty with green salsa. Now, the place could use a lift, and all the businesses around there are upgrading their look, so that's not helping. But the carne azada was good, I really enjoyed my meal.
