By far the best wedding food I have ever had. My husband and I decided to have a vegetarian wedding since we do not eat meat. The chef was incredible accommodating, and despite guest initial worries and complaints about lack of meat, after dinner I had multiple guest say it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. Additionally, they were flexible about multiple changes and request that occurred last minute. Due to COVID, we had to postpone our wedding 2 times, and they were great about verifying new dates and being flexible and easy with the changes.

Absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, and I mean DELICIOUS! The service was impeccable! They were punctual and professional. I'll definitely be using Sweet Basil for all my future events!

Sweet bazil catered my wedding last weekend and did an absolutely amazing job. We had a brunch menu and all our guests raved about the quiche and breakfast potatoes, I only wish I would've provided them to go containers because the food was that good! Communication was good and execution was flawless

Absolutely one of the best caterers I've ever worked with, they were very professional and not only on-time but before time! They were willing to work with us to give us what we wanted at the price point we needed. And the food was hot and fresh! Speaking of the food it was absolutely delicious! I recently hired Sweet Bazil to caterer a 10th Anniversary celebration for one of my corporate clients, and they were amazing. Chef Karida and her staff provided an all-day experience that included a COVID safe environment where staff and guests. Sweet Bazil's team was on time, professional, and worked seamlessly to provide top-notch service. And most importantly, the food was terrific. We recently found Sweet Bazil catering in White Plains MD, and my only regret is that we don't throw more parties! From my initial contact to the follow up after the event, this team has truly been the 'dream team' of catering. The food was outstanding, all our guests just raved about it (don't miss the sweet potato casserole), the response time when I had questions was nearly immediate, and the service at the event was spectacular! Sweet Bazil catered my 50th birthday celebration on Friday and they did not disappoint. Everything was AMAZING from the food to the presentation to the service. Let's start with the obvious: Chef Celestine and her staff would not have gotten a 5 start review if they would have not taken all precautions (masks, distancing, hand washing, segregation of work areas and dinning, etc) to keep our family and guests safe during this pandemic times. Now to the arrangements and the party itself! From the moment I contacted Sweet Basil, and talked to Chef Celestine, everything felt like it was riding on rails.

The Chef's energy and excitement for her craft came thru in all communications and the menu options where season appropriate, and we'll balanced. The day of the party went without a hitch, and the staff could not have been more accommodating, nor professional. They adjusted meals on the fly and the food was exquisite. The presentation was flawless, the attention to detail was cranked up to 11!

I was happy to see that the Chef and her crew were in such synchronization, so not to intruding in the conversation, but never to far to answer questions, refill the wine pairings, or have a good laugh with all our happy guests. I will definitely use Sweet Basil again, if they would have us. Thank you Chef Celestine!

We were blown away from our overall experience from the first encounter with the staff to the final goodbye to the Chef. Chef Karida served us an absolutely delectable Five Star Cusine. The food flavors, coupled with her professionalism and kind demeanor made this an Anniversary of a lifetime. We're already discussing the next event we can hire Sweet Bazil for. I hired Sweet Bazil to cater my wife's birthday party. After several rounds of discussion over a couple of days to plan the $400 menu I received an Email message today, saying that my contract had been canceled. I looked through my email to find that they had sent me a docusign document, yesterday. I had my hands full at work and I missed it.

I thought I would simply pay with my credit card when the food was delivered. Now it is three days before my wife's birthday and too late to find a caterer. I guess I'll be cooking. To their credit, they called me back and apologized. They said that in the future they will be sure to get the client's telephone number so they can call them when an event like this happens.

They explained that they use the docusign document because in the past they have had the experience of clients canceling on them and they are left holding the bag. They said they will be sure to warn future customers that if they don't sign the docusign document in time they will be canceled. I think in my case the problem was exacerbated by the fact that they also had a lot of other clients for whom they were catering events for Valentine's Day.

From beginning to end the service and food that I received from Sweet Bazil was impeccable. When I submitted my initial inquiry I received a prompt response about the cost of each item and a detailed description of what was included. Prior to the event, I had additional questions which were also answered promptly. Chef Celestine and crew kept me informed about their arrival time, provided ideas of the best way to set up the food, and the presentation was wonderful. The food was the highlight of the event; guests were still talking about it days after the event. I would highly recommend Sweet Bazil for any upcoming events.

It's was an absolute pleasure hiring Chef Rida and her amazing team. The entire process was seamless and they went above and beyond to ensure the day was spectacular. Guests raved about the appetizing food, especially the shrimp and grits. Chef Rida offers different catering options to all budgets. It was such a piece of mind knowing I did not have to worry about cutlery, table clothes, plates, etc.

Prior to the dining experience Chef Rida for just a moment explained the meal options. She also made herself accessible but hidden as not to be interruptive to the party flow. I would hire Chef Rida in heart beat and look forward to doing so in the near future.

Sweet Basil catered a bridal shower for me and they were amazing. Very professional and affordable. They made the brides dream shower come to life. The food was incredibly delicious. I truly can't wait To host my next event because my first call will be to Sweet Brazil.

Chef Celestine and the entire crew at Sweet Bazil are amazing! We hired them for our wedding on October 13, 2018 and I couldn't be happier with the choice. Not only did I receive multiple compliments on the food and decor, but the entire team's professionalism made a complicated day so easy! Planning a wedding without a wedding planner was difficult and stressful but Chef Celestine, Danielle, and staff made it so easy.

They were with us every step of the way, agreeable to last minute changes, and even helped us with the stuff we didn't know we needed. I could not recommend them enough! Oh and if you don't get the mac&cheese, you are missing out! if a thousand good stars were possible then I would leave a thousand star review!

Sweet Bazil provides a very unique service to our preschool program, Discovery Lane. Bi-weekly Chef Karida brings to Discovery Lane an experience with food that cultivates our children's engagement with food preparation. She not only details the mixing of ingredients but she explains the nutritional value of the food in a medium that is developmentally appropriate for young children.

Chef Rida and her entire team are prompt, accommodating, and professional. As the owner of the preschool I was informed and provided an itemized list of all of the meals the children would prepare for the summer. This was most helpful to avoid any dietary preferences or allergies. The entire culinary arts experience that Sweet Bazil brought to our program provided children a lifetime experience they otherwise might not have had, if it were not for Chef Rida and her team.

Karida and Sweet Bazil were AMAZING. She surpassed expectations in every sense. She was timely; extremely kind, friendly, and professional; and he food was absolutely phenomenal. I can’t put into words how wonderful the food was; better than I expected and on par if not above some of the best meals I’ve had in nice restaurants. The rest of the dinner party guests also raved about the meal and the experience. I cannot recommend Sweet Bazil enough!

I was provided a drop off menu with set up. The food was fantastic! Everything tasted great. My guest especially loved the seared salmon w/ citrus sauce, the orzo w/ pesto & the cabbage!! Several guest took the business card or wrote the contact info for future reference in anticipation of using their services. Myself and one of my guest are the coordinators for our “social committee”.

Sweet Bazil is so on point. What I think I enjoyed the most is it was a sweat free event for me. This meant everything to my peace of mind. It was worth it all! I would do it again!
