Wow! The Reuben sandwich and eggplant panini were fantastic. The Reuben had a generous portion of meat and it was just fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

Came in at 3pm, requested to sit outside was informed by server that we weren't allowed to sit outside because they closed in an hour and had one server. It was nice out and we wanted to sit outside. This place is very small and there was only one other table seated. Not exactly sure as to the logic behind letting a potential $45 tab walk out the door over something that to me seems trivial but alas I am eating lunch OUTSIDE somewhere else. Looking back, this place is over rated for the price, especially since they cant be bothered to walk an extra 10ft. Bizarre.

This wonderful restaurant is one of our favorites. The service and food is excellent. We love the consistency and quality. We always know our meal will be good. It is a cozy, comfortable space where you are able to carry on a conversation! We highly recommend it. UPDATE 5.16.22- I have been going to this restaurant since they opened. I always go back because the food is excellent and is consistently good.

We have always had wonderful service. I know they, like many others, have had challenges with staffing during these crazy times, but when they do, they change their hours to make sure they have the staff to take care of their customers. Loretta waited on my friend and myself today and she was simply a joy. I highly recommend.

The food here is very good and a great price. The staff is great! All the servers are sweet, attentive and kind. I love their main dishes and they have a full bar. Seating inside and outside and right on the square. Never a bad meal or bad service. Best deal in Columbia Tennessee for location and food.

The Tennessee hot brown is quite good, no wonder it's one of their signature dishes. The capacity is on the smaller side so going during lunch rush can result in long waits for tables and service so get there early or go later. On that note it's worth the wait if you have the time, plus there's plenty to look at and browse while you wait at the square.

Worst restaurant I ever eaten at I would rather lick the floor in Waffle House bathroom got the complete opposite soup from what I ordered and it was horrible it was so nasty I almost threw up. I would not recommend this place 0 stars horrible food and horrible staff Can not get a simple soup order right. I have also just had a dental procedure done and can only eat soft foods but since I have no soft foods at my house so I cannot eat tonight

This is a quaint little place tucked away in the corner of the square. I got the Tennessee Hot Brown and my wife got a sandwich/salad combo. Both meals were really good. I had the Tennessee Hot Brown, which was a good twist on the original. I think if I were going to make it at home, I would add more Swiss cheese into the Bechemel to give it some tartness to go along with the ham, turkey, and bacon.

The bread was fluffy under the sauce. Her salad and sandwich were good. Even the half sandwich was a good portion size for her. We look forward to exploring more of the menu.

First time dining here and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. A cozy cafe tucked in the corner of the square and it was very busy at the noon hour, which is always a good sign. We put our name in around 11:45am and were seated by noon. The house made chicken salad had wonderful flavor and the cranberries added a nice touch, but let me rave about that crab bisque.

It was awesome! Thick and rich, just loaded with crab. Made with! The menu had a nice selection, certainly something for everyone. We had a child with us and the kid's menu offered all the kid favorites. Overall highly recommend and looking forward to trying other items on the menu in the near future.

First time at this restaurant, we booked a reservation for 4 on Easter Sunday. The service was very warm, Southern style. We asked for outside seating due to our little ones making so much noise and it was no problems. I ordered Egg Benedict side of fruit and mozzarella cheese salad, they were all delicious. They figured out how to make great flavor of Benedict!

I could cut through my English muffin. Not all restaurants know how to do this. (Trust me I have eaten at many brunch places including one in Amsterdam ) My husband loved them too especially the mozzarella cheese salad! Great coffee and cheese cake. We chose to be in a slower pace and calm for Easter this year and Square Market & Cafe didn't let us down.

Always a good option for a quick bite, a warm and nice soup and half a sandwich. They also offer very nice pastries. I've been there once in the evening when there was live music and we really enjoy it. It can be very crowded at lunch time but it's worthwhile. The food is very good. I've always had a good experience at this place.
