I had the pleasure of getting to know David this summer when he opened David's Landing, a cute seasonal spot on the water in Shippan. David himself is kind, personable, hilarious, and an all around great person. His food and drinks - amazing. His potato salad & onion dip - out of this world! Can't recommend enough and can't wait for the warm weather to come back around!

I solicited several companies to cater a small outdoor wedding event in Greenwich for 20 people and picked David's because I liked their ideas for pandemic serving and they gave me a very fair price. Melissa was great working with me on initial ideas and saw everything through to the actual event. The on-site staff was extremely professional and helpful.

My guests thought the food was delicious and they liked the service on individual bamboo plates for safety and sustainability. The bar service was a big hit too. Our special drink was Moscow mules and the bartender mashed fresh mint for each serving. Everything was perfect from food service to champagne service to final cake service. I didn't have to worry about anything and kitchen was spotless when the staff left. I highly recommend them.

We ordered flank steak and chicken parmigiana from here last week. The food was generous in size and was very good. So good we are putting in another order. They were courteous and lovely to work with.

I worked with Melissa to organize two large catering orders for 100+ people. It was a totally seamless experience and I highly recommend using David's if you want the stress of the day taken off your shoulders :

Tasteless bland food, undercooked sausage, dollar store peas & carrots, powered cold eggs. Good muffins and pretzel rolls though! Flavorless chicken, what was the fish stuffed with? Today was chicken Marsala only I could not detect 1 ounce of marsala wine in it! And tilapia today, the cheapest most genetically modified fish and the cheapest you can buy. Disappointed every breakfast and lunch. Step up your game! I've seen better food at home with soup kitchen.

Davids is professional, prompt, GREAT food, and I'm proud to support a local business that's been in Stamford for decades! Haley really listened to our needs and provided a menu and service options that were a perfect fit. Madden, our server, was the perfect blend of warmth, responsiveness, and she set up, served, and cleaned up the entire party, leaving us to focus on our guests! The food was outstanding - variety and extra touches to every menu item we selected. Don't miss their signature potato salad.it was awesome! Top notch company!

We had a party at The Landing this weekend and everything was perfect! We coordinated our event with Melissa and she was very professional. Toni, who was our point of contact that night, was terrific! Took care of all our needs. Staff was friendly and worked hard! And the food.was delicious of course! David's Catering did an incredible catering our recent engagement party in South Norwalk! Every step of the way from preparation to picking the menu, to executing the event, David's did an incredible job helping us make our event a special one. Our coordinator Melissa was amazing leading up to the event in helping us determine the right menu and set up to ensure our guests had a wonderful time.

We had over 80 guests and a lot of last minute shuffling of RSVPs, but everything went off without a hitch. Our chef for the event, Betty, cooked some truly amazing food and even incorporated requests for items not on their standard menu. The rest of the staff was very pleasant and did a great job of being available to our guests without being overly obtrusive. We'll definitely be using David's again for any of our future events!

We hired David's Catering for a party in our home. To answer the most important questions you probably have: the food was delicious, the platters were temptingly arranged and David's was a pleasure to deal with. Leading up to the party, the event coordinator was responsive to my needs and took feedback until we got just the "right" menu. On the. day of the party, the server arrived right on time, efficiently brought everything into the kitchen and after a brief consultation with me, she took control.

The table she designed (using my flowers and hers, interesting boxes to elevate the platters, etc) was beautiful. She cleared dirty plates and glasses, kept the food coming, and even served our birthday cake. When she left, the leftovers were packed away into our frig and our kitchen and dining room (where the buffet was) were cleaned. Would I hire them again? Yes! Yes! Yes!

I've known and worked with Melissa for years and hadn't used David's in a while but I reached out after about 7 years of not needing a caterer and nothing has changed. Melissa is a wonderful, professional, . thoughtful person to work with and a complete gem! David's catered our company picnic yesterday and we had a lobster bake on the beach. It was amazing!

The food was excellent, the presentation was beautiful and flawless and Madden and Plinio were a dream to work with. They were both personable, pleasant and professional and made our event run so smoothly I actually was able to enjoy myself and be with my coworkers while they ran the show to absolute perfection! Melissa and her team we're absolutely incredible. We got married and was the first wedding at the Landing which is typically for corporate events. They transformed the space to become exactly what I was. dreaming up. The beautiful patio and amazing water views to the incredible food. Everyone was raving about Melissa and her team. They hustled the whole time behind the scenes to make it look effortless and the entire event was flawless. I highly recommend them! Definitely order their tuna tacos for cocktail hour! I am still dreaming about them! Just amazing.

Fantastic Apres Ski Party! The food was amazing the service was even better. They arrived hours beforehand to set up and start prepping the food, which was just perfect for the party-- a fondue and slider station and lots of great passed plates. The chefs in the kitchen were top-notch and really put a lot of effort into their banking and it shows. We highly recommend and will be using them again.

David's is the best in the area. I've been providing music for their events for years. Always fantastic, creative food and service second to none!

We have used David's for many events at The Ferguson Library and they always do an outstanding job. The food is creative and delicious and their presentation always beautiful.

We had the wonderful pleasure of experiencing David's Soundview Catering last weekend as we held a graduation party for my son. Graduation ran late, traffic was very, very bad in the rain coming back from the venue and imagine my delight when I walked into the room and DSC had EVERYTHING SET UP, BEAUTIFULLY DISPLAYED AND READY FOR MY guests and I to start eating and drinking.

The food was amazing, the service with Amie and Tony spectacular and then they whisked everything away (as if by the same reverse magic spell) took all the trash even, and woosh the room, the counters, the tables were clean and back to new! Wow, I was blown away!

You will not be disappointed by David's catering. Madden handled everything with grace and efficiency. The food was excellent, and I did not have to worry about setting up, cleaning up, or wondering if all fifty people would have enough to eat. Many compliments about the food! Melissa at Soundview Catering catered my wedding at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center, and she was an absolute dream. We had a rustic, farm-to-table fall wedding, and she understood and captured our vision perfectly. She thoughtfully listened to our requests and had creative suggestions on how to create the atmosphere we wanted without breaking the bank.

Truly a pleasure to work with. She was genuine, attentive, and had an awesome attitude; it made the whole process less stressful. And of course, the food was divine! The chef left a great impression when we met him, and he executed flawlessly on our wedding day.

The Santa Fe salad was pretty good! Leaves cut up into small bits (so you can easily eat), mangos, tomatoes, generous serving of cheese :) Tasted pretty good too! Cobb Salad ingredients didn't taste very real/organic though, and the Italian Combo Sandwich was very generic. Prices are not bad, range of $8-12 for most salads and sandwiches :)

David and his crew ran a perfectly orchestrated event smoothly and the food and service was wonderful! They came early, and even when my "difficult" sister in law demanded food after all was put away, they gladly obliged by providing a plate on their was out the door. Above and beyond. I would highly recommend their services for private events in the future!

At a private home event in North Stamford today, I noticed that David's has been the caterer for the past 6 or so family parties over some years, for about 50 people each time. I never took note of the caterer until today; my wife and I left ASTONISHED at how fresh and tasty the food is, every dish, every time. Fresh lox and bagels, tuna, whitefish and chicken salad.

Cut fruit, numerous salads, kugel, various roll-ups with meats and vegetables, tons of desserts, with no platter left empty before it was cleaned and filled back up again. I'm a scratch cook and let me tell you, this food was FRESH. I thought this level of quality and service were a thing of the past. NICE!

A special thanks to David, Melissa, and their fantastic for creating and hosting the ELM 40th anniversary celebration. From planning to execution there was not stone unturned. The creativity and "out of box" thinking, they provide a fun evening with outstanding varieties of food. They accommodated our diverse group of attendees and all will have memories of a great evening.

We order from David's almost EVERY DAY and EVERY DAY it's, on time, delicious, fresh and well prepared. The new "Spring on to the Beach" menu (full of yummy low-cal options) is AMAZING! The shrimp tacos are one of my faves. Anything you need, just ask and they'll make sure you are taken care of. Can't go wrong with a choice like David's!

David's Soundview has done several events for me over the past few years. The BIG one was my daughter's wedding this past weekend. No one was disappointed. All of our expectations were exceeded. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious (guests loved the Risotto Bar. WOW). I love working with Melissa Desousa.she is a true professional and knows exactly what she needs to do.

The wedding was wonderful and I had a terrific time. The bride and groom were thrilled. What more could you ask? Don't waste time calling others.just call David's Soundview. Bravo, bravo, bravo! and, thank you SO much!

We order lunch from David's almost every day - out of 50 meals, I'd say 47 are part of my dinner table discussion with my wife at the end of the day. They are creative, healthy if you want it to be, fresh and - importantly - have daily specials so that dialing their number (or ordering on seamless) never gets old. I can't recommend them enough. Very very solid.

My company has the lucky option of ordering from David's for lunch every day. Out of all the options (usually 7 or so) David's is the first one that I choose to see what they have. I find their food to be fresh, and absolutely delicious. Recent favorites are their Fall Harvest Kale Salad with butternut squash apple and honey mustard dressing.

Today I had their peppercorn salmon with lemon buerre blanc and sides of fingerling potatoes and cauliflower with fennel. It was SO delicious. They also serve excellent soups. And when I can't make up my mind their staple of grilled salmon, brown rice and veggies always hits the spot. I am a huge fan.

Seeing that the owner hand delivered me my next lunch (we order from here 2x a week) and sincerely apologized for bad experience, I have to retract my review. The lettuce wraps are much better this time around, the quinoa and corn are nice and hot! I believe they have also switched to Boston bib lettuce-which is healthier and sturdier for wrapping the moist vegan filling with. Thanks for the awesome cookies too!

I used David's Soundview Catering to cater my backyard cocktail style wedding this weekend. The staff was extremely helpful in guiding me on what to order and how much I would need. The food was ready at the pick-up time and came with easy instructions for my friends and family to make sure it was presented perfectly. And the taste was amazing! We had a wide variety of selections, from cheese torte to sushi to swedish meatballs, and the freshness and quality of each item was top notch. I would recommend them for any event!

I had a small intimate lunch for the Executive Committee at my hotel and had it catered by David and his AMAZING team. The food was out of this world delicious. My guest could not stop talking about how good everything tasted and looked. Amy & Toni came in and took care of everything from preparing the food, serving the food, making drinks and then cleaning up after we were done.

I had about 10 passed hors d'oeuvres which included Herb Grilled Jumbo Shrimp with Caper Remoulade Spinach Dip in Carved Pumpernickel Loaf with Bread Filet Mignon Baguettes with Horseradish Sauce and Crispy Onions Cape Scallops Wrapped in Bacon Teriyaki Marinated Filet Sate with Ginger Sesame Dipping Sauce Lollipop Lamb Chops, Marinated and Grilled with Minted Dipping Coconut Crusted Chicken with Mango Pineapple Puree Black Angus Cheeseburgers Tuscan Flatbread Pizza From presentation to taste it was the BEST food we have had. If you are looking to have a party and want outstanding food and service look no further then David's Soundview Catering.

David's Soundview Catering is on our corporate Seamless lunch list. Every day, many of my co-workers and I choose our lunch from the comprehensive menu that David's has to offer us. There are a number of specials each day, great variety of delicious salads and sandwiches and many sides and extras to chose from. Personally, I love their Caesar salad with the house tomato basil dressing, Ronald's Chicken Curry wrap, and many of the vegetarian selections offered under Erik's Vegetarian Life.

One of my co-workers almost always orders the Chef Special or Big Bowl Special. David's food is always fresh and made to order. As one of the admin's on the account, I have had the pleasure of dealing with Maryanne and other staff members who are always helpful, pleasant and willing to make a sometimes demanding clientele happy. They do most assuredly stand out among the crowd!

I had a great experience working with David's Soundview Catering. My sister and I hired them to cater our parent's 30th surprise anniversary party. Melissa was very helpful throughout the months leading up to the event. She worked with us several times to adjust the menu and make sure we got everything we wanted while staying within the budget. On the day of the event they showed up right on time and set everything up in a timely fashion so that everything was ready for when our guests arrived.

The staff was extremely helpful and professional. The food was great and my parent's friends kept asking us who the caterer was so that they could hire them in the future. Overall, it was a great experience!

David's Soundview Catering is on our corporate Seamless lunch list one a week, but since we love it so much, we order from them on a daily basis. The food is fresh, and well prepared, and delicious. The staff is great too. Always accommodating to any changes/additions to our orders. They're very quick to call if an item is not available, which we appreciate. Love it, love it, love it!
