I've said it once, I've said it twice. Skips makes the best Chicago dogs! His Italian beef is fantastic! Don't forget to get it dipped. Every time I'm in Avondale I stop. I highly suggest skips to all you cool cats!

One of my favorite spots in town. Skips is more than just Chicago Dogs, which by the way are delicious. They have a great menu of items to satisfy anyone. Their Philly Cheesesteak and Chicken Philly is so good. They also have burgers, hot sandwiches, fries, wings, chicken strips, etc. I always receive great customer service every visit. Skips is where it's at.

If you like hotdogs and you like them quick, this spot's for you. No frills. I came for a quick lunch. I got the #1 combo = hotdog (ketchup, mustard, relish, no onion), fries and a drink for $8.63. The hotdogs are 100% beef. I thought there would be more to it like, a lot of fixings to add to your hotdog. But I didn't see that. However, they do have burgers, cheesesteaks and some other things on the menu. I'm not a huge hotdog fan but it was cheap, quick and satisfying. And the fellas taking and making the orders were very nice and funny/friendly.

It took me 10 years to find a place in Georgia that could make a real Chicago Hot dog! Skip's totally nails it! Not only do they have great "authentic" Chicago Hot dogs, they have Italian beef, Italian sausage "for the beef sausage combo" and real Maxwell street polish sausage. I get homesicl for Chicago evertime I eat here. Go give skips a shot, you won't be disappointed!

This Burger DID NOT taste like 100% Beef. You would have to ask them if they add fillers to their ground beef. The first time I had food from Skips (2021), I did a Google search to try and find out where they are located because the Cheeseburger was so good, I wanted to patronize them. But this time (eating their Cheeseburger) it didn't taste like beef; if it was 100% Beef, it was a poor quality. But the service was good.

Love Love Love Skips! Chicago style hot dogs and Italian beefs in ATL. I'm from Chicago and this food is like being back there. The food is delicious and the scenery is all Chicago sports.

My experience was awful due to the quality of the food. The coleslaw was terrible. It was too wet, and the chilli tasted like it was right out of the can. The hot dog just wasn't it. I ate it because I needed to put something on my stomach. Not sure If I'll go again to try anything else.

Hot fresh and delicious! Took me right back to Chicago! Italian beef with peppers and a side of fries! Next trip here I'll try the Chicago dog! I bet its just as good! Forgot to take a pic before I dove in but thats what was left when I remembered!

Super good Philly cheesesteak! All the foods were super hot and made to order. In a decent amount of time too. I dined in but there is a drive thru. The staff is so fun, upbeat, and have a lot of respect. I'd come back just for the amazing customer service. 5 stars.

Have they ever been to Chicago? Because the food doesn't even represent the Name. Only thing good there was the fries. Bell peppers don't go on Italian beef Sandwiches. And the Italian sausage is to be grilled not boiled. A Chi-town native, I was totally disappointed.
