No matter where we live, we're all neighbors and friends here. Unlike any other place in the region, and exactly like the Bay Area itself: we represent a socially, professionally and culturally diverse membership, brought together by an appreciation for family values, relevant tradition and life lived to the fullest.
We are proud to announce that Round Hill Country Club has been awarded the prestigious Distinguished Club award, as determined by the annual Distinguished Clubs award program conducted by BoardRoom magazine, one of the most respected trade publications serving private clubs. For fine private clubs that operate at the highest standards, BoardRoom magazine's entirely merit-based Distinguished Clubs award program uses a club-specific rating system that recognizes the club, its management, and its staff based on a proprietary criteria and evaluation process that distills and measures a club's Member Experience.
Our challenging yet immensely playable 18-hole course has provided golfing enjoyment and spectacular views for Members and guests since 1960. In the decades since, we've hosted top PGA pros, LPGA Tour events, famous celebrities, and our own Club challengers. Over the years, the golf course has matured while retaining those qualities that make it special: holes that challenge, a landscape that inspires, and a quiet majesty that energizes those who play it.We provide a comprehensive culture around the game as well.
Top professionals recognize Round Hill Country Club as one of the most complete tennis facilities in Northern California. Round Hill's Tennis Club attracts the Bay Area's most competitive and social tennis players and it is certainly the most active! Went to a memorial service in one of the conference rooms. Excellent service & food put on by the staff. Had about twice as many people as expected, and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure everything went off without a hiccup. It was a great celebration to a man's life of service to humanity as a Doctor, Surgeon & Military Vet. As a friend said, the place is a slice of the Vegas style pampering in N. California.

I was there for dinner and a holiday party, it seems very nice, the people were friendly, and it was really good food. other than that I don't know about the rest of the Country Club

We had the specials tonight and they were both great. Fish Tacos and lasagna bolanese. Raul finished my night off with the best Chocolate peanut butter martini. It's a 5 star for me.

I'm sure the staff is great or servies. But I'd like the managers to know that I was given the wrong information because of the new front desk had thought that I had a different intent being in there. I got no apology when I got the right contact so since this is a private club I feel she needs more training incase I decide to be a prospect member there or anyone else that enters in the club.

I am currently an employee here. Ive worked at almost every course and country club in the bay area. This place blows all the rest out of the water. Every employee is beyond kind, mainly because this club truly takes care of their own. In return you see the nicest crew that loves to see the members happy and enjoying every aspect this club has to offer. This club knows how to operate. I highly recommend working here as well as becoming a member. They really take care of you here.

Great location, several meeting and ballrooms, the chef there is awesome. Catering department is very efficient and really cares about the presentation.

This is one of the best private courses in the East Bay. Its challenging and has enough subtlety that playing it regularly is still fun. The course is also very scenic and the members and staff are great. Their turkey club sandwich and handmade Margaritas I had at the turn were incredible. Just a great day of golf!

A long overdue review. Hosted an event here pre-covid with 50+ people and it was awesome! Everything from the food, drinks, and set up. Luciano was amazing and did everything we asked and more. He's the main reason we'll host our next event at Roundhill! (As soon as this darn virus is over)

I have been a member of Roundhill Country Club for 25 years and I have finally decided to terminate my membership. I found the management staff unwilling to follow up on my requests which included: a celebration of life event after my daughter died, omission of her passing in the Roundhill Reporter, when inquiring about a donation for high tea during the holiday season I suggested adopting impoverished children for Xmas rather than having high tea the response was apparently this is not your type of club, god forbid if your spouse becomes ill ( my attorney husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's) as then you are immediately demoted to a second class member.

It is a pity as with its reputation Roundhill Country Club could be a leader in providing necessary outreach to the surrounding communities by incorporating altruistic goals for their members to achieve. The final blow was when a member of the management staff told me "time to move on".

Been a member for a long time. We go to the pool a lot and it's always clean and beautiful. I took a star off because I am so disappointed with the new clubhouse renovation! They removed the beautiful beamed ceilings and replaced the timeless decor with a minimalist flat design that is already going out of style. Really disappointing for all the money spent :

Just finished hosting a bridal shower here over the weekend. Working with Janelle in catering was so easy and fun. She knows her stuff and is so sweet. The day of couldn't have been better, Arial the banquet manager made sure everything went as planned and more. Both of them were so accommodating and absolutely wonderful. They really made sure the day was special. The food was great too! Round Hill has just completed some major remodeling and the place is gorgeous. Looking forward to having more events at the club.

It's a good club but there's so much to be changed. I was member at LifeTime when I lived in another state and that's the comparison I have. I just would like to give some recommendations to the club. There's not many towels and the towels are inside the gym (at least they were last year, this year they've changed them and now they're just outside the gym so you still have to go inside the door in the hallway to get them), which doesn't make any sense to me. Towels should be in the bathroom or at least right by them.

Last year there was so many times I was already all changed to get in the pool and had to either go get a towel in a swimming suit or get dressed again, which is so annoying, especially when you have kids and practical things is so helpful. At the baby's pool there's no umbrellas and the moms have to watch their kids under the very hot sun or drag the umbrellas (what I have done a couple times) that are very heavy all the way by the pool so they can get some shade while watching the babies.

The gates that work with the magnetic keys are just a big pain in the neck and don't work most of the times. Also the gate between the gym and the pool is even more useless. The pools are very cold when it's not hot season, even though they say they're heated. They're not heated enough, it's freezing for me. And the last but not least, about the snack pool bar.

It's never opened! Swimming season has started over a month ago and the snack pool bar it's still closed. We want to get snacks, food, ice cream etc without having to call anywhere. It's understandable not being opened in the cold season but since the weather has gotten warm I think they should have opened it right away, they could do 6 months closed and 6 months opened (mid April to mid October). Anyway, I do love the music at the pool, the tuna sandwich and the margaritas, the pools are great and it's a beautiful club, but just these topics to be changed and it would maybe be a great club.

This place is awesome. Played a round thanks to food bank sponsoring a tournament. The course is amazing and well maintained. The facility is high in image and there restrooms are clean. Will try to come back with friends.

I grew up here, and have good memories. I was sad to see reviews about misbehaved children. I remember, as a little girl, going with my family. This was where I learned how to behave as a lady in an upscale establishment. We usually went early, before many people were there. Sometimes, My daddy would dance with me on the dance floor. Other than that, I was expected to sit politely in my seat.

I certainly did NOT put my fingers in the buffet food. I am glad my parents gave me such wonderful experiences, and taught me the proper manners to go with it. I hope one day, I will be able to go back as an adult.

We are not members here, .but have attended the company's Christmas party here for two years, and it's wonderful! We arrived early this time so we had extra time for drinks and odours Arleth the only female server and all the other gentlemen did a very good job bringing our plates and drinks on time for such a big group 170 + everything was delicious the odours, salad and of course dinner, they make everything here with excellent chefs and cooks. Loved everything excellent place from your banquet or event.

Was a guest at Roundhill for an event and went to the bar to get a drink. Was told that they might comp a drink so I inquired about it and was rudely shot down by the staff. Asked to see a wine list and was offered the "house wine".unbelievable! Horrible service! Never going back!

This review is for my wedding, which was at the Round Hill Country Club. We were very lucky to find this venue. It is absolutely gorgeous and Heather is amazing. She was very accommodating and easy to work with. She was very responsive and put in a lot of effort to meet all our requests, from moving the piano to getting ethnic Ukranian food to go along with the regular dinner.

She was willing to meet with our DJ and coordinate with all our vendors to make sure everything went smoothly day of. I am looking through wedding photos and video now and see Heather working behind the scenes. She even arranged the skirt of my dress for the ceremony and then helped bustle it afterwards. Guests loved the appearance of the venue, it's very elegant.

The food was really good too, we chose salmon and chicken for our guests and both were good. The staff was great, they were always pouring wine and attending to the guests. Great experience and I highly recommend the venue to anyone.

This review is only for the pool. It's really clean and on a hot day is perfect! They have a great swim team with awesome coaches! The deck is always clean! Don't forget to bring a blanket for the colder days, because the pool is on a hill you get a very cold breeze!

I've only been to Round Hill for breakfast, lunch or dinner catered buffet. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Quick to clear once you're done but not hovering. The food was very good. Some of the folks I was with had good things about the course and country club.

Had breakfast here and it was excellent. Bacon was some of the best I've had. Valet parking is a nice touch too. Potato dish was even excellent. Love their tiny cinnamon rolls thingies as they were fluffy and not too sweet. Golf course looks like it is in excellent shape. This place is nicer than what I remember from years past.

Friends had a wedding here. It was really nice and the staff here was great. Food wasn't all that special but those bartenders were super friendly and generous. I was impressed with the everything they had available to their club members. Fully stocked bathrooms with personal care products, internet and water in the changing rooms and whatnot.

The course was beautiful and I would've loved to play on it if I had more confidence in my game. It was pretty nice. I thought it was funny how the SOME of other patrons gave us funny looks. They couldn't figure out why we were there. I would venture to say they thought we were applying for jobs.

I had dinner in the clubhouse with a friend who's a member at RHCC. It was a Chinese buffet. The food was good. The service was fantastic. My water glass must've been filled 8 times! Apparently the buffet nights attract a lot of kids. Yep.tons of rude & unsupervised little monsters were running around everywhere.sticking dirty little nose-pickin fingers in the food at the buffet.

Can we say. TURN OFF?! That was really the only complaint I had. Im sure this place is a great place to have dinner. I will say that all of the food is made there. I know this because I asked one of the servers if a particular desert (they were little slices of cake.you know, out at the desert table/buffet style) had coconut in it because I have an allergy.

She said she was not sure but would ask the guys in the kitchen. She returned promptly to ensure me that I was safe --there was no coconut in any of the deserts. Ill say it again.the staff is very on top of their game at this place! The kid fingers in the food is what killed the experience for me. I am willing to give the restaurant at RHCC another try, perhaps for lunch.while the little ones are in school.

This is a great country club with an excellent golf course. We are "newer" members and we love the restaurant. The wait staff is friendly and courteous as is the general manager (Greg) and the member services manager (Karen). We enjoy the Friday night pub dining, and the Wednesday night family buffet. Looking forward to the new years eve bash and the annual crab feed as well. Also looking forward to using the pool this summer, some golf, bocce ball, and meeting new friends :)

I have been a Round Hill member for 10 years. During that time my son swam for the swim team and staff each summer became part of the family. Even with the downturn in the economy I still hang on to this membership because of the value. It is a friendly comfortable place to go. The routine meals are always special and happy hour is a great deal. You gotta love sitting on the patio in the evening as the sun sets over the golf course.

For busy families new to the area this is a great way to make friends for your kids at any local school. Fashion tip- Alamo School, Stone Valley School, Round Hill Swim and Monte Vista all are red/black.

Guess who doned her pink Anne Taylor skirt suit today? You guessed it, me. The only thing that was missing was my diamond tiara. Mrs. Fancy Skirt herself was at a Lady's Tea Event held here at this private club. My company sponsored a table at this event and I had five of my favorite clients join me. There was over 80 women at the event and they put us all in a very nice room.

It accommodated us very nicely. As to the service, well was not on top of their game today. It was a tea event so we expected tea to be at our tables. They had little pouches of Bigelow Tea but there was no hot water. The food was served on one of those silver three teared serving things. Lovely mini scones, muffins and toffee cookies, fruit with creme fresh, and a Asian Chicken or Turkey Wraps.

They were lovely. They finally came around with the tea. The packs of Bigelow Tea were for us to take home. They served Chamomile and English Breakfast. The tea was good with cream and Splenda. We also begged for a pitcher of water to be left at our table. It was just to much for them to serve tea and water at the same time. They did finally because one of the girls at the table was pregnant and made a point that she needed water. Guess who also took the center piece home. Yeah, me that's who!
