We recently ordered a Lego themed cake for my son's birthday party with chocolate and black current flavors. the cake was so delicious and it looked exactly how we requested. Every single guest at the party appreciated and loved the cake. Thanks to Roberts Catering for making this birthday cake a memorable one.

We used Robert's to cater a Celebration of Life for my mother. Gathering of 40. They were flat-out amazing, and I can't say enough good things about them. RObert and his team were great from the beginning. From planning the food, how laid out their spread, timing, everything. They rolled with the punches on changes (there were several). We were told repeatedly that they would accomodate pretty much anything we asked, and that they were there to make sure that we could just enjoy the activity and not have to focus on any of the food, drinks, etc.

And they were right, both my wife and I (who normally have difficulty letting go) didn't have to think about any of this AT ALL. They just took care of everything. I can't say how nice a change that was from previous events we hosted. Food was spot-on. Fresh vegetables, etc. to start, cooked on-site (set up right outside in the driveway) and cooked just right. Cakes were amazing.

All the reviews about their awesome cakes are not lying. Finished up by packaging all the leftovers so we could just pop them in the fridge. Prices were very fair. I would not characterize them as cheap but not expensive. I felt we got very good value for our money. We've lived 2 miles form them for 10 years, and I can't believe we have not found them until now. We'll be using them going forward for any large parties/functions we have.

I am amazed! Robert is extremely kind and professional! He saved our wedding party, and I am so grateful to him! I am not going to go into details, but we ended up with no cake couple days before my daughter's wedding. Robert asked a few questions on what kind of cake i wanted, consulted with his team for a minute, and said "we can do it". 4 simple words that saved me from a hearth attack:) I emailed him a photo of the cake I wanted (found on the net).

The cake was fresh and absolutely exceeded my expectations! So delicious! THE BEST cake I have ever tried here, period! Everyone on the wedding party was trully amazed how good the cake looked and tasted. My daughter was happy, I was happy. What elae can you ask for? We had tons of food leftovers, but no cake leftovers:) I can't be happier! I praise Robert and his business to everyone I know now. Thank you Robert! You and your cakes are pure perfection!

Wow! Robert blew this one out of the park. I found Robert on Yelp. Between a few other caterers on Yelp, his reviews and ratings gave me the confidence of knowing I couldn't go wrong. He EXCEEDED my expectations. I had a guest of 60 for a 50th birthday party and decided just to go with hors d'oeuvres. I was just looking for someone to cater, no staff, drop off food and go but based on some of the items I chose, he said the only way was to add staff as he needed to ensure those food items were served fresh off the stove/grill.

So he added staff and worked it in my budget. I'm SOOOOO glad I went with him because the food was amazing, the staff/servers (who have worked with him for 15, 25 years) were amazing and EVERYONE raved about it. Robert was very personable. He came and helped his staff set up. I was busy running around filling drinks, and Robert jumps in, helped me with my mess, and he even helped us make guacamole, which wasn't even on the menu and it wasn't even his job!

That blew me away. His staff set up their grills/stove on our side patio, food was served fresh, and the presentation. OMG! The charcuterie spread alone took up the entire dinning room table and our hot food buffet was set up on our kitchen island. A client at our party was one who has had many experiences with catered events/parties and he said this was the best spread/set up he'd seen.

All of our guest were highly impressed. I wish I had taken more pics of the hot food buffet but I was too busy eating all the delicious food. YOU WON'T GO WRONG with Robert.

Robert not only serves wonderful food but he meets your dietary needs. At the wedding for my brother he was able to meet the bride's gluten-free requests and all the food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the cake and the pieces left over were quickly eaten. This place is our new go-to for all our future parties! Ordered a cake and gave them an image I found online, a complicated Super Mario themed two tier birthday cake with fondant warp pipes and figurines and fancy lettering. They exceeded my expectations; the cake was beautiful, delicious and made a wonderful centerpiece during the entire party! Local bakery with true professionals, 10/10!

People always say you get what you pay for but in this case you get a lot more than what you paid for. Roberts Catering is definitely the best out there. I have experienced other caterers and they do not give you as much food as Roberts does. Their service is phenomenal. They offer free centerpieces and real cloth linens for tables and buffet at no charge.

They really do cater to all your needs and wants. The food is outstanding and out of this world. The beat thing was having main entrees and meats at the beginning of the buffet and being able to go back and get as much as you would like. They use Top of the line/ materials to make your event very special and to your liking. If you're getting married, having a birthday party, anniversary, bridal shower baby shower, any type of event I highly highly highly recommend Roberts Catering. I can guarantee your guest will not be disappointed and neither will you.

We have been ordering our cakes from here for years! Every person who comes to our event always asks where the cake is from because of how delicious it is. I personally do not like cake, however, I always crave their strawberry rum cake! Thank you so much!

I had my cousin order the cake and for the price, could have been better decorated.i did not eat the cake, so I do not know how it tasted but she orders from them all the time, so I am sure it is delicious

Best wedding cake money can order. We order our anniversary cake every year and it is so delicious. I'm not a big cake person but I love Robert's catering cake. Robert is a great dude and his company takes clientele very seriously on their special dates.

I just bought a cake from Roberts Catering for my son birthday, and I called Monday for today and he made it happen. It was so delicious and he even discounted my husband for the decorations. I gotta give a huge shout out to Robert of Robert's Catering. With extremely last-minute notice (last night), he made my wife her favorite Vanilla-Almond and Strawberry-Rum cake for her graduation. Ever since our wedding Robert has made this special cake for us. And it's so sad to see how much he, as a small, locally-owned business is struggling. PLEASE support our local businesses. I hate to even think about a celebration without Robert's cake!

For the last few years, I have attended the Power of the Purse Soiree at Dillard's to help fund Dignity Health Foundation. Roberts caters this event every year and his food is exquisite and so delicious! He is a kind man too and even donates some of the new designer purses that are raffled off to help raise money for patients. Good man and good company! I highly recommend his company and yummy food!

Our wedding cake came from Roberts and was the talk of the night. I personally am not a big fan of cake, but WOW. Their cake was soft and melted in your mouth. They offer so many incredible flavors. We had the tiramisu, Twix, strawberry champagne and coconut almond. The cake was gone by the end of the night. They also have amazing cake stands to rent for a great deal. Kenny helped us with our tasting and the process and was so easy to talk to. Thank you so much!

We had our wedding cake made by Roberts Catering. The cake tasting experience was amazingly professional, and the options were really diverse. We really enjoyed how we were able to customize the flavors of each layer, and even picked our own design. Delivery was very affordable, and the cake tasted better the day of than the samples did (which I thought would be hard to beat!) Our cake required fresh flowers in the design, which were put in place identical to the model cake upon delivery. I couldn't have asked for a more stress free success!

Robert's catering just catered a wedding reception for us and it was a marvelous experience. Robert and Kenny were a joy to work with in developing a delicious menu. Our guests raved about the food. The staff were professional and everything went off without a problem. We will definitely use Robert's catering again. Thank you, Kenny and Robert for a job well done.

Had a party of 40 catered at my house. Everything was absolutely perfect from the food to the amazing staff. Couldn't be happier! We would definitely use them again!

13 Year's ago this coming October, Roberts Catering made our wedding cake with chocolate raspberry and banana fosters layers. It was the best tasting cake and so beautiful. Today we received a bananas foster cake and it was just as good as my wife and I remembered. Thank you Robert. Chris from 4 Wheel Parts.

This review is a long time coming, as we had our wedding nearly two years ago, but the memories of Robert's Catering still stand out today. Robert is a great listener with a great soul, and really puts you at ease with regards to the details surrounding the catering aspect of your wedding. We got married at a private estate on Camelback Mountain, and it went off without a hitch. Kenneth and Tiffany were outstanding and went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible.

They even boxed up the top level of our cake for our anniversary, saved our left-overs, and stored them in our refrigerator. We didn't even notice until the next day. That was such a nice surprise. How cool is that? We were so happy we chose Robert's Catering, we wish we could get married twice just to experience the great food and service again.

And even if you're not getting married, they cater corporate events, and do specialty cakes. We're actually thinking of getting a custom cake made to celebrate our anniversary in the future. The cakes are outstanding.

Roberts catering is nothing less than a real treat to enjoy. He has been delivering thanksgiving and christmas dinners to my company for years. Everybody looks forward to his meals because we all know he is the very best at what he does, and that's making people happy. I would totally recommend his catering service to anyone.

Attended the Miss Arizona Trunk Party catered by Robert's and absolutely enjoyed everything! They had an overwhelming array of appetizers and deserts! I tried to sample everything! From pot stickers, guacamole and Chips, meatballs, sausage, egg rolls, various cheeses, cheese sandwiches (I'm sure I'm forgetting something) and the these little pies and all different types of cakes.

I only had time (or room) to try this strawberry cream cake which was so light with just the right touch of sweetness that made me want more. I was impressed with the staff and setup too. Very friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a great treat!

The Vanilla Almond Strawberry Rum cake was the best cake i have every had! They did an amazing job on our wedding cake. It was exactly what we wanted and even tasted so good. Our wedding cake was made of carrot cake, red velvet, and their famous strawberry rum cake. We cant wait to order from them again for our next event. The customer service was awesome and we had so much fun during our cake tasting!

I have ordered countless cakes from Robert's and have been very pleased with each experience. They did the cake for our wedding 10 years ago and I am about to order from them again for our anniversary party. (People still tell us we had the most delicious wedding cake) Their cake is delicious and they can work with you to create the design you have in mind.

Robert's catering made our wedding reception a breeze. We thought we had made a final decision to go with another caterer when we came across Robert.the delicious food, amazing cake, and fair prices helped make our decision easy. And on top of that, Robert's took care of all our linen and place setting rentals, made our centerpieces, decorated the tables, and did all the set up and clean up of our reception hall.

Their professionalism at the reception was second to none, and their friendliness at the tastings always made us feel welcome. We can't wait to eat the top tier of our wedding cake next year. I highly recommend Robert's Catering as a one-stop catering shop.

I rarely write a review a few hours after words. But i couldn't wait to write one for Robert's Catering. I found them on yelp 7 months ago, and hired them for our reception party. Robert walks you through the process of the entrees, sides, salads, and cake choices. We arrived to our backyard reception from the venue to find an incredible setup. The food and cake were 2nd to none, everybody loved it. Highly recommended. Thanks Robert and staff for a perfect ending to our wedding.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Robert's Catering. They were accommodating but still helpful, professional but warm and personal, and of course they did a fantastic--I mean, really, really fantastic--job on the day of. First: I did all my wedding planning on my own, and I wanted a custom menu. Basically, I started with a craving for shrimp and grits, and I built my menu around that. Robert spent half an hour on the phone with me, then exchanged dozens of emails with me, just hammering out the menu.

He was experienced enough with Southern cooking that he could accommodate a lot of my suggestions, but also not afraid to make his own recommendations based on experience. I loved it. Second: Incredible value. I started off with a dollar amount per person that I wanted to spend on food, and I got more than my money's worth, I am certain. We had Charleston style shrimp and grits, and chicken and sausage gumbo over rice as the two main dishes, plus appetizers (like a fantastic crawfish dip on baguette and deviled eggs that pretty much disappeared) and sides (people raved about the collards with pork jowl, the sweet potato fries, and the extra rich mac and cheese). AND ON THE DAY OF, Robert showed up with fried catfish, on the house.

People LOVED it. Third: The dinner service was lovely. I had beautiful HUGE dishes, classy silverware, lovely red napkins with matching service table linens at my request. Friendly staff, tried to serve my husband and I food (we said we'd do it on our own, no problem!), brought us drinks, so wonderful. Fourth: Our cake was GONE. As in, I gave away the slice a staff member brought me because I was so excited for a friend to try it (vanilla almond cake with strawberry rum filling), and then never got another slice. Perfection. Fifth: The bartender did an awesome job.

We brought out beer and wine to our venue and forgot about it. He completely took care of the set-up, and even saved all the corks for me as I requested. All in all, I have no doubts and no complaints because I had absolutely nothing to worry about with Robert's. My parents, moreover, were thrilled with the food and the service we received from Robert and Wendy and the rest of the staff. This was the right choice for my wedding :)

They have a huge variety of different gourmet flavors, but my go-to flavor has always been the vanilla almond cake with the strawberry rum Bavarian creme (as in yummy Vanilla rum Bavarian creme with big sweet chunks of strawberries in the cake layers). It's sure to please everyone, since there's no chocolate, nuts, or anything else that people might be picky about. Wendy and the rest of the staff are very friendly, and they will advise you on designs and flavors.

It is a small place and stays busy, so make an appointment to ensure you get to taste their flavors of the week and customize your cake with the staff. I have not had the chance to try their non-cake catering menu, but I've enjoyed their cakes both at my own and others' events. You can expect your cake to be delicious, just the way you ordered it, and well worth the money.

Robert did the catering wedding on 10/11/13, and the food was amazing. He was great to work with during the planning process, and worked with us a lot on what we wanted for our food. I told him that we weren't planning on doing a traditional cake because I was going to go with pies instead, and he offered to do the pies for us. And then on top of that, when I did end up getting a small cake besides (because the Strawberry Rum filling was delicious in the tasting) he said it was no trouble at all. Well, on the day of the wedding, we had a buffet of pies (apple, cherry, pecan, and berry!) and a lovely two-tier cake that I didn't even ask to be decorated, but had lovely buttercream icing.

They really went above and beyond with their service and the food was delicious. The pies evaporated. I managed to get a piece of the apple and it was amazing. Robert made sure that my husband and I had everything at our reception that we wanted, and he checked up with us to make sure that everything was going to our liking. Everyone complemented us afterward, and there was leftovers that we were able to take home and feed a family party with the next day. I'd recommend them to anyone in the Phoenix area.
