Contacted this company the week of my wedding for a breakfast and lunch catering job. Emailed from the website and was contacted within an hour or so by Bill. He was super nice and we had an order prepped and set up that day. Delivery came right on time the day off. Food was delicious. Definitely order the fried eggplant hero! Was such a huge hit with everyone! Everyone was asking where we ordered from since it was so good. Prices were great as well. So glad I picked this company!

We like the food, but the service is HORRIBLE. I used their text to order option and texted in an order. I received a confirmation that told me to pick my food up in 20 minutes. When I showed up 25 minutes later for my food, they told me that they were sorry, but they hadn't even put my order in yet because they were so busy! My poor kids were starving and so we went elsewhere.

I have not been to Powell's in a awhile because I had moved out of town, but I was excited to go back when I came home to a place that always had wonderful food and service. I am still enjoying the food, however I have never dealt with such a rude person before. After getting home and finding out that all parts of my order were wrong, I called back in to ask them to replace it to what I had asked for.
She continued to be rude and condescending to me saying that she had repeated the order to us and that we were wrong. It took me going back there and waiting for them to speak to me, for her to come up and tell me that she was going to tell me the same thing she did on the phone that they would not give me the order that I asked for and that me being there didn't change anything. As long as she works there me and my family will not be going back. Good luck with this one. And thank you to the busy chef who finally came up and took care of us.

Event Catering: I threw a backyard Surprise Party for my wife's birthday at our house and I picked their "Do It Yourself" package, as I wanted a casual atmosphere. However, I didn't want to be stuck behind the grill all day, so Bill Powell arranged to send a "grill master" to work my grill for me. Let me say, I was totally THRILLED with the outcome.
First of all, as it was a surprise party, there was a tight delivery window - which they met. They brought more than enough plates, napkins, utensils, etc. for the guests. The grill master (I think his name was Sergio) was friendly, polite, professional and he did a GREAT job. Food was ready on time, he also cut and served the cake (technically outside the scope of his duties) and he cleaned the kitchen when he was done! Finally, the food was AWESOME, guests were pleased with the quality and the variety of things on the menu. Neighbors asked me for their contact info! They helped me create a great memory for my wife's 40th and I will use them again and again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

It reminds me of a restaurant that should be located in a beach town, the outdoor seating in the summer time is perfect. Now to the food, they know how to work the grill making burgers, cubano's, pulled pork, steack n cheese, and everything in between. The big highlight comes in with their fresh seafood and clams. With dishes like calamari to lobster roll sandwich. Last honorable mention, plenty of salad dishes. This is the place you come to just hang, enjoy a beer and some food with friends outdoors.
