Plattduetsche Park Restaurant Plattduetsche Park has been Long Island and the surrounding area's top destination for traditional German specialties and continental cuisine since 1901. On our eight-acre property, we are home to a restaurant, Biergarten, catering facilities, festivals, more than two dozen German clubs and so much more.

Plattduetsche traces it roots back to 1883 when Plattduetsche Volksfest Vereen of Brooklyn (PVV) formed as a society for German immigrants from the flatlands of northern Germany. The group was dedicated to upholding German culture and tradition and supporting injured, sick and needy individuals and families within their local immigrant community.

Traditionally matured in the bottle - like champagne. Erdinger Weissbier with fine yeast is brewed according to a traditional recipe and in strict accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law. With Krombacher Pils you enjoy a distinctive, finely bitter taste and a full-flavored aroma - this is a genuine premium pilsner beer brewed with Felsquellwasser (mountain spring water) which quite decisively characterizes the taste of the beer.
Liquor packages are applicable only to guests over the age of 21. Below are beverage packages available for catered events at the Plattduetsche. Please speak with one of our catering experts at (516) 354-3131 if you have any questions.

Very loud but what do you expect when you go to a bar / dining establishment? The burger I ordered "rare" came to be more medium, and unfortunately appetizer was a disappointment. staff was extremely friendly, they do a good job on when getting the food out but unfortunately the food itself could've been better. Overall nice environment if you want to. party / drink but not the best if you're just looking for a place to dine (this did not have anything to do with my rating as it's based off the food itself)

The food is perfectly fine, but served warm as often as it is cold (but it's never hot) and prices are pretty high. There is no hot water in the bathroom to wash with, despite many aesthetic renovations over the years, and the cushions slide off the chairs while you're sitting on them. For non-Germans seeking the illusion of an authentic experience, this place is great.

Outstanding wedding venue! Beautiful space and everyone that works there is first class. The beer hall is such a cool space. Outstanding food! The Little Bavarian's are worth going back for alone. With so much amazing local beer being made around New York, it's too bad they don't showcase that. However, if you're looking for classic German lagers, this is the place.

While driving past-after a big snowfall- we decided to stop in for a quick beer and some food in the Beer Hall! We had such a great time- as always! The food was great- as was the hospitality! The bartenders were so welcoming! We always love stopping in!

Debbie and all staff at the Plattdeutsche are incredible at what they do. From the moment we first met with Debbie we loved her and were confident booking our reception. She is extremely personable, communicative, detail oriented, honest (which I found so refreshing) and such a sweetheart. Debbie and I hit off off and even though I can be a crazy one she embraced it and was always patient with me and my nuttiness.

We did not feel even remotely confident with our previous venue and with her it was instant. She was honest about what she thought was worth upcharges and what not and she was spot on with all her suggestions. She was beyond accommodating with my decor and details I wanted and she understood my vision. Our wedding like any other had hiccups but the Plattdeutsches consistent service outshined them by far.

From the staff to the food everything was wonderful. I've never been to a catering event here but it felt like I was with family they treat clients so well. I've also never been for regular evenings so I have never experienced the classic 'little Bavarians' which were DELECTABLE. The food at weddings I feel like is always a hard item but I can honestly say I tried multiple dishes and each was delicious.

The amount of compliments were getting on the food is extensive. Our maitre D was such a kind and calming soul I knew my uptight self was in good hands. The servers and bartenders were wonderful, multiple family members told me they were consistently smiling and helpful. I can't begin to express my thanks to Debbie and the staff for executing such a wonderful night that I know was a success because of them.

My husband and I cannot wait to have future events here. Great place, extremely reasonable pricing, local and a such a warm family astmosphere you cannot go wrong with Plattdeutsche.

I had their Giant burger, think it's called the big Bavarian?. Anyway, it was huge!:. Now big burgers are over-rated, many places have them. THIS BURGER was different! The TASTE was beyond any burger I've ever had. The fried pickle, potato pancake and combo of fixings along with the meat was PERFECT! I can't say enough, you just have to try it!

We stopped by to see the Christmas market. Lots of German foods and drinks. Beautiful blown glass ornaments, hand made pewter items and gorgeous carved wood pieces. Nice to see so much Christmas cheer and German traditions. Bavarian pretzels and Bratwurst. And the Gluhwein was perfect!

Was really debating between 2 or 3 stars. The place is nice but very hard to see the stage from most of the bier garden. Can get very loud because it is built like a cavern. The server was extremely nice but the food runners and busboys are very lost. Asked 3 different busboys for napkins. Never got them. Had to go find one to clear our table so we could have dessert.

The food was so-so. Potato pancakes were tasty but very thin. The pretzel barely had any salt on it and the cheese dipping sauce was hard and cold. The wings were way too spicy for medium and the blue cheese came in sealed package. Was like blue cheese water. The burger was ok, nothing special but the fries were cold and stale. Beer was cold. All in all, won't be going back.

I went when there was only indoor dining. I didn't even know they had indoor dining. I was expecting to be seated outside. It was far more formal than I'd anticipated. Still had a great time, great ambience and food. Beer delicious.
