I had a delicious side of potato lakes, and good sized crab cake. My niece had a large chicken taco salad made in a bread bowl, placed on a large bowl to hold it all in. Delicious! All very worth the price. We'll be back.

This is a fairly regular stop for breakfast after dialysis, ; and having worked as a Chef in some of the top local restaurants and hotels- Mr Deli gets my hard earned stamp of approval. the service, atmosphere and pancakes are unsurpassed. on point in every way. other establishments could learn from this operation.

After touring a few restaurants in search of a good breakfast after dialysis; I was impressed at every point of today's experience. We had a choice of seats, and were quickly recognized by our efficient server. The pancakes are the best I had in years, delicious and filling, a nice size English muffin is served, bacon and eggs perfectly cooked and served very quickly. reasonably priced and super clean- plus all the above- I Recommend

My first time here. The atmosphere is a little loud, but the staff are friendly enough. It's cold outside and this place has no buffer between the outer door and the dining room, so everytime the door opens there's a blast of cold air. Perhaps if I sat towards the back of the dining room it wouldn't be as much of an issue. I ordered the Soho Wrap which was not spectacular, but it was good.

The portion size of the wrap was pretty large, but the potato salad was a very tiny portion, as you can see in the photo. I might try this place again, perhaps on a warmer day or for carryout.

Decent breakfast food and good service. A little pricey for what servicing size you get.

Had an amazing breakfast this morning! Staff was very attentive and made sure that we had a great dinning experience. We got to meet the owner at the register Mike, he is very kind and can tell her cares about his customers. We will be back for sure!

This was a great experience! The food, service, and overall atmosphere was incredible. This was my first time here and I will be back! I loved how friendly the owner and staff was and you could tell they knew what they were doing. I got a sausage egg and cheese on a english muffin and it was by far the best I've had. I also got their peppermint hot chocolate and loved it!

My friend got the chicken noodle soup and pastrami sandwich and she was thrilled! Also, I brought home a piece of their pumpkin pie! Amazing! If you haven't been here, this is your sign to go!

BEWARE! My friend offered to take me to lunch and I was excited to come here as I ahve been a customer for over 25 years. Literally one of the top 5 worst meals of my.life. we ordered soup monza ball and chicken noodle; both were microwaved and tasted sour.both took one bite and could not stomach another. Then our meals came out; the condors revenge was my favorite sandwich but now it seems like they are using old rolls, cheap roast beef (if not steak ums honestly), and "sauteed" onions.supposed to come with horseradish buy there was none or so little it wasn't recognizable over the cheap frozen meat and soggy onions.

My friend got a pastrami sandwich- it came out on white wonder bread with maybe 1/10 a lb of pastrami that had to ahve been purchased at giant or even Walmart, no cheese, no mustard or saurkraut. The bread was also not toasted. I have made better sandwiches for my 7 year Olds packed lunches. Then we both tried our potato salad which was probably the 2nd best part of our meal but also was dry and tasteless.

The best part of my meal was the dr brown ginger ale and my friends was the pickle they gave us. 50.00 for a meal that was absolutely terrible! (THANK GOD HE WAS PAYING AND NOT ME)! The waitress did not even ask why we didn't touch our meals, clearly no one cared and we got some d frozen microwaved leftovers, lesson learned and will never return to this establishment!

This place is not the same, their menu is too large as well.focus on being a new York deli, or don't call yourself a deli.maybe they can rename the place to Mr deli's diner because that's what they are AT BEST these days. Make a sandwich at home, I beg of you, for your own sake! Open a can of Campbell's soup before you order a bowl of lukewarm sour soup! Horrible experience!

Really good food and for a change of pace from the chains and sports bars. Easy to get to since its on Linglestown Rd in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. One of our new favorite eateries!

A nice break away from the typical diner and fast food spots to ear. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was on par with other delis, nothing over the top, just fair food for fair prices. The place itself, was clean and extremely busy, to the point it sounded like some customers were yelling.

Great family owned spot to grab a meal. I missed the little plaza it is in so instead of looking for somewhere else to go I turned around and found it. So glad I did.

Fantastic food! Best breakfast around. I particularly like their breakfast sandwiches (sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel) which are the best in the Harrisburg area. Lunch also great and their monthly specials are always good. Service is great too, staff is extremely friendly!

Stopped in for a quick bite at lunchtime. If you're in a hurry, go all the way to the back and sit at the counter for faster service. The food was ok. I got a ball of matzo ball soup and an egg salad sandwich. The sandwich was fine, but the soup didn't really remind me of the matzo ball soup I've had at other delis. I'm used to more of a broth based soup. This was like chicken noodle soup with a matzo ball thrown in.

Well, I ordered the famous omelette w/tom, shrooms, gp, onions and all the veggies were unfortunately too hard for me to bite into. I thought they would compensate me when I paid nope, I miss the old owners sorry One disappointment here!

I have been here many times and it never disappoints. The sandwiches are some of the best in the area and my husband swears the pastrami is the best he has ever had. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you want an amazing New York deli style sandwich!

Restaurant has been around for years, but under new ownership since September. My momMy husband and I actually re-discovered it on their opening day. Mr. & Mrs., their daughter, and everyone else treated us like family from the very beginning. The food is delicious, portions are generous, service is top notch. There are so many choices on the menu so you will need to go back often. Breakfast is available all day until closing time at 3:00. We have introduced a lot of our friends and family to this special place.

My husband and I ordered love at first bite and the condor.nothing like the pictures on Yelp I make a thicker sandwich at home! Hardly any meat but the corned beef was fresh and good. Pickles are crunchy. The sides are bigger than the sandwich. We got waffle fries (hot and seasoned) and onion rings ( the whole piece of onion comes out of the ring FYI) potato salad is good not to sweet.

Enjoyed this place immensely. As a New York City transplant finding the iconic ethnic foods in the Harrisburg area has been somewhat difficult. Mr. Deli has filled that need for anyone a fan of the Jewish deli experience.

Just stopped in to see the place is under new ownership. A great NY Deli vibe with authentic food and great service. It is family operated and it shows in how particular they are about their service and quality. Prices were very reasonable for the portions sizes. Can't wait to return and try more of their freshly prepared deli meats!

Whenever I am in Harrisburg I have to visit Mr. Deli. Not only is it 5 minutes from my grandma's house but they also have phenomenal bagel sandwiches. I love a good everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheese and cream cheese. Writing this review is making my mouth water.

Classic deli. Fast service. Good selection of bagels. A ton of typical breakfast fare with better than average quality. Fresh fruit is good too. Quick and appropriately priced. I'd definitely go again.

I was really craving a bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich for breakfast for a change up of my Saturday morning errands routine instead of something like McDonald's. I wanted to try something new and this was such a good find! I didn't anticipate the location to have as much seating/dining-in space as they did, but I got my order to go at the register up front and it was a quick turnaround.

The service was good friendly - and you could tell that the gentleman at the front recognized a few of the in and out-going customers. The sandwich was hot off the grill, hearty, and so good - will definitely be back! Only small downside is that I love strong-brewed coffee and I just wasn't a fan of this specific location's coffee that I had alongside the sandwich this morning - that's no reason not to go there for all the other good things though!

Some of you people in harrisburg pa are dumb. Jewish deli as in pastram i and cornbeef is at least 50% more expensive than regular meats. One reason is because of the pickling involved in making it. Also kosher meat is just more expensive than non kosher. If you want a regular sandwich go to subway or jersey mikes. In regards to the banter with the waitresses, thats how jewish delis' operate in nyc. Its part of the "scene".

Had a breakfast sandwich here for the first time and it was better than anything I've had in the area. Bagel had a good amount of dough inside with a crisp outside. Bacon was cooked just right and the cheese was still gooey and hot when I got back home and ate it. This is more of a sit down establishment so the "to-go" drink options, especially for breakfast, are limited. I only saw snapple and soda available, no OJ or chocolate milk, but you may be able to request them in to-go cups like coffee.

First time eating Latkas, they were astonishing! A little expensive but worth the first time eating. Eggs benny was very good also. Neat little location with bar seating in back which I prefer over table service but you won't see it unless you go to the back, so go to the back! If you go alllllll the way back, you will find the bathroom! Enjoy!

Been twenty years and it's still a very good place to stop in for a meal. Today it was a quick lunch after visiting an office across the street Staff is very friendly and the majority of patrons look to be solid regulars based on the back and forth banter with staff Food is fresh. Homemade tomato soup and a great Reuben serves with not one but two big pickle spears. Pricing is right on, space is a little tight but hey it's a deli so deal with it I will not wait 20 years for my next visit and it will be brees
