My husband and I were finally able to celebrate our wedding in early October and I wanted to thank Morton's Fine Catering for the excellent food and service. They did an amazing job taking care of all our guests with allergies and dietary preferences and they even saved some of our cocktail hour small bites for my husband and I to try since we missed the hour taking pictures and relaxing.
So thoughtful! The bartender kept everyone VERY happy all night and handled the special requests from our bridal party with pleasure. They were absolutely wonderful during the entire "postponing due to a pandemic" process and were super flexible and communicative regarding the menu. Plated service went off without a hitch and all our guests enjoyed their food.
The team even helped us with our teardown and clean up process, helping gather centerpieces and all our items to take home with us. They made what could have been a very stressful event smooth and easy!

This year we decided to get some help with Thanksgiving instead of doing it ourselves and we were so lucky to have a meal provided by Morton's. Everything came prepared and ready to heat up and serve and it all tasted just so good. The mashed potatoes were so good that 2 days later my wife is still talking about it. I highly recommend Morton's for any catering need.

I have just started using Morton's to cater the many events I hold each year and i have been absolutely been blown away. Not only by their delicious entrees, but also by their staff's professionalism, fair pricing, and their presentation. I've worked with many caterers in the past and Morton's is by far the best. I highly recommend them for your next event!

Morton's Fine Catering did an absolutely wonderful job for our recent wedding! They have so many great options on their menu, including options for vegetarians and vegans. We started with the buffet-style "Taste of Michigan" menu and were able to customize it to fit our guests' dietary needs. Everyone was talking about how wonderful the food was, how great of a selection we had, and they also loved how quickly they were able to eat after we did our toasts since Morton's is very streamlined with their system of having guests get up table-by-table.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they were consistently checking to make sure our wedding party and our guests were happy. The bartender we hired through Morton's was also personable, efficient, and took very good care of our guests. Brenda was so amazingly helpful along the way and made sure that everything went perfectly on the day of the wedding. We couldn't be happier!

Thank you Morton's Catering. We'll highly recommend you. Brenda and Valerie were so helpful planning a graduation open house appetizer buffet. They made good suggestions and let me know if I was over ordering a certain item given our number of guests and that reduced the cost. The food was great. Bourbon meatballs were especially a hit! Marianne & Dalton, the servers, were professional and went the extra mile so we could spend time with our friends.

If we could have gone back and changed one thing about our otherwise lovely wedding day, it would have been to select a caterer other than Morton's. Put bluntly, they did not prepare enough food for all of our guests, even after we told them to prepare for a higher number of guests than ended up coming. Two tables at our wedding did not get a meal, including the table with our wedding officiant, and Morton's staff offered to "order them pizza." We had people drive in from out of town to be offered pizza.
If you are considering having Morton's cater your wedding, I would encourage you to at least sit down with other caterers in the area, as Morton's is not the only one. Another caterer we spoke with had warned me that Morton's has this problem of under-preparing, but when I asked Beth Morton about that, she said it was not true. I could have forgiven the blunder had they immediately told us, apologized, and made it right.
But our wedding was in October of 2018, and we JUST learned of this embarrassing situation in January 2019 from friends who had been trying to spare us the humiliation by not telling us, but finally did. I cannot believe that this happened, that no one from Morton's told my husband or myself, and that they just tried to pass it off by offering to order our guests pizza, with no other form of remediation even considered. EDIT: After posting this review, Beth Morton did reach out to me and seemed not to have been aware of the situation.
Her staff had not informed her about their mistakes. She offered to refund those meals, and so we did receive a check for $240 as recompense. Regardless, I think I will always have a knot of disappointment in my stomach when I think about that aspect of our wedding day.
