Since 1950, Moncla's has been one of the top catering businesses in Southeast Texas. Today, it is the largest catering company in the area, specializing in multiple catering styles. Our team at Moncla's has done numerous events such as; corporate meetings, disaster relief, petrochemical industry feedings, and more.
In 1998, Moncla's was awarded the operating contracts of two more cafeterias: Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Beaumont and Northrop Grumman in Lake Charles. The cafeterias provide their employees with a full-line breakfast and lunch, consisting of a complete hot-food line, short-order line, and deli area.
Disaster Relief Catering is a major part of Moncla's service. When emergencies, storms and disasters hit the gulf coast Moncla's provides peace of mind in the recovery. In times like these, organization is of most importance. We are fully organized and staffed to prepare and serve up to 6,000 fresh and delicious meals per day.
Moncla's is the premier choice for large base camps, industrial catering and emergency response events. Owners Randy and Ken Moncla are directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. Ever since we got the new Vending Service and the prepared meals, I love it. I go here on a daily basis. Sometimes for a snack, flavored water, but mostly for my meals. They have a good selection to choose from and all are good. I have not had everything but I have heard good things from everyone else. Now its getting boring. Its the same breakfast, same salads, same lunch items.
A man can only have so much of the same thing. Eventually he will go somewhere else. Today was one of those days. I give you a 4 stars only because I feel it's time for a change in menu items. Chicken Wings: Tender and Priced fairly. Cook time: 1min 15secs Salads: great size and good price Boiled Eggs: hard to find Wraps: good but the dipping sauce is not my fav. Sausage/Cheese/ Gold Fish Adult size Lunchables: perfect.
Chicken Salad Sandwich: Great tasting and pairs with Jalapeno Chips Pros; Convenient and Priced fairly. Cons: No vegetables with meals. Only salads. Ideas: 1. Chicken or Beef & Broccoli 2. Edamame 3. Small Side Salads 4. Fruit Cups 5. Egg & Sausage Bowls (no pancakes)

We used Monclas for our wedding at The Laurels and I was extremely impressed. There customer service on the phone, in person, and even via email was phenomenal. The staff the night of was amazing. I ran out of bar glasses for alcohol and found a staff member from Monclas in a panic, which they were not responsible for that night, and they said "we will take care of it"! I couldn't believe it. The food was delicious and they bring plenty of it! I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you, from Morgan and Kevin Boatner
