MEI Catering

MEI catering is a wonderful company. The twining hall is absolutely beautiful with very high ceilings and a spacious feel! Nick has been accommodating and made my wedding planning extremely smooth. The unpredictability of 2020 and wedding planning during a pandemic was not easy to say the least. However, the main reason I write this review is how well MEI as a company handled it. They treat each brides as person, rather than a dollar sign ( where I feel most venues do ). He was fair, compassionate & worked with me through whatever I needed!

The most beautiful hall around! I cannot begin to explain how gorgeous the hall was when we walked in! It was huge, clean, and had a fabulous layout. The food was so delicious and there was plenty of dietary options for our guests. The staff was absolutely wonderful and interacted so kindly with our whole party. This is an absolute gem and for the most reasonable cost around.

I am so thankful to Nick, who made it all possible and a HUGE shout out to our favorite bartender Jimmy. You guys my family has not stopped talking about the incredible time they had, and I know it had so much to do with the hall and the level of service provided. Thank you so much and do yourself a favor and check out MEI catering at Heritage Hall.

Staff was top of the line. They kept saying we are here to cater to you and did not let me lift a finger at my child's first birthday at home! Shout out to Doreen and Melissa! They are hero's! Can't wait to use MEI again.

I had my wedding here at Twining Hall last year and am happy to say everything went smoothly and it was a great day. Their food selection was a main reason in choosing them and also Nick was accommodating to any requests and preferences my wife and I had regarding seating arrangements and other things. I definitely recommend Twining Hall for weddings.

I went to a cat fundraiser for Lucky U, and they had it catered by M.E.I. They opted for buffet style, which is my favorite because if you can get what you want & go back up for seconds. Some of the options were sauteed green beans, roasted potatoes, roast beef in au jus, fresh rolls, salad, I believe penne pasta in a red gravy/sauce. The food was delicious and there was plenty if everyone wanted to go get seconds. If you are looking for a reasonable but yummy caterer they are your choice!

We hired MEI for our daughter's 1st birthday party on August 12, 2017, which was outdoors and in a family member's backyard. We had about 100 people in attendance. Jim (the cook), Stephanie and Matt (the servers/helpers) worked the party and were absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and we couldn't have asked for a better event.

During and after the party, many people reached out to us expressing how much they loved the food and how impressed they were with the service MEI provided. The food and drinks were always abundant and the party was kept clean, neat and organized. I was nervous about having so many people, but they made this party great - we didn't have to worry about anything.

And it helped even more that the staff were pleasant and had smiles on their faces the entire time, even though they were probably melting from the heat! On top of all that, the pricing was excellent. I most definitely recommend MEI. Wish I had a reason to hire them again!

We held our wedding reception at Twining Hall on 4/8/17 and thanks to Nick and his staff at MEI Catering, it was a perfect evening. The hall was decorated beautifully and the items we added (favors, centerpieces, decor for the gift table, etc.) were placed exactly as we wanted. When I realized I'd forgotten a topper for our cake, he was prepared!

The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived and throughout the night. The food was absolutely delicious! The carved beef was our favorite. We had many out of town guests travel for our reception and everyone raved about the food, the service, and the location. I met with Nick in July, 2016 to book the hall and throughout the months leading up to the event, he was a call or email away.

My husband and I no longer live in the Philadelphia area, so this was extremely helpful as we were planning this event long distance. Through meeting with Nick and through the information provided on his website, we were also able to secure our DJ and photographer, both of whom also did an amazing job. Even though I currently live in Virginia, I do have many friends and family who still live in PA and will definitely recommend Nick and his services for future events!

We held our charity event at Twining Hall with MEI Catering last night. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience! The hall was beautiful and creating a welcoming, yet formal environment for our Cocktail Party. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and courteous! I would definitely recommend this Hall for your next event!

M.E.I caterers were very easy to work with. They were reasonably priced, and the food was delicious! The staff was quick to respond to phone calls/questions and they made the process very easy. They were very helpful every step of the way. They did off site catering and the staff was great. We didn't have to worry about anything, top notch food and service. We will defiantly use them again. Solid 5 stars!
