I've known about this place for a while but never had the opportunity to go inside. I had an errand next door and the most delicious smell was coming from the open door that I just had to stop by. It's take-out only. They have a wide variety of ready-made foods to take home for lunch or dinner. You can order ahead for pickup. There are soups, sandwiches, and salads; among other things.

I chose the three finger sandwich combo ( chips were included), which was very good. I like that they offer small sizes if you only want a small portion. I also bought some vegetable orzo salad for later but was disappointed to find it was loaded with chopped olives (which I hate). The ingredients weren't listed on the package. I did let them know and they said next time I came they would make it up to me. I will certainly give them another try.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of delicious options. Mac and cheese is the best! I chose the vegan stuffed peppers. I am not a typical vegan eater and this was amazingly delcious!

We were lucky enough to have Matthews cater our wedding and couldn't find all the praise we have for them in a simple review. First describe your how you want your guests to feel and be fed and then let Matthew take the reigns on food, I'm convinced everything he makes is wonderful so take confidence in that. Then Penny and Linda will make you feel like you have a few more loving moms and will gracefully guide you to make the best choices and coordinate your dreams.

Our wedding was the best day of our lives we had so much fun and we're so well fed. Both our families have asked how far Matthews will travel to cater because it was not only the best wedding food but some of the best "insert any item we had served" they had ever had. Not to mention we had our reception in our barn in the middle of the woods which they helped turn into a wonderland. They are angels, you'll want to start planning another event just to work with them again. Can't thank you enough!

Matthews Catering provided the food for our wedding on July 17 2021. It was phenomenal! We had the Jack Daniels marinated chicken skewers for an appetizer.chicken marsala ceascar salad loaded potatoess.stuffed shells 7 cheese mac and cheese pork loin and they threw in some nuggets for the kids.we had more than enough and everyone took some home and we had three extra trays we brought home to freeze for our next event Highly reccommend!

If you are looking for a good meal I think you hit the jackpot with Matthews Catering. I have ordered from their buffet menu and gone and picked up meals there and have always had fresh quality and flavor filled food. Definitely on my to go list!

Matthews Catering Company has started a Menu of fresh packed food to pick up 3 days a week. I have gotten something from there every week since spring and my family is always happy. Great food for a great price.

I have used Matthew's Catering in the past for events and am now getting food weekly from his take out menu. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the food and the serving size. The staff are a perfect combination of professional and friendly and I always leave knowing my business is appreciated. Highly recommend! In response to the ONLY poor review (key word only) I find it especially hard to believe that Matt and his staff picked that one person to treat poorly when all other clients had great experiences.

I had a party at my home. The staff couldn't be more helpful, knowledgeable or courteous. The food, cooked on location, was proper temperature and delicious. Guests were so impressed, they were asking for his card. I simply provided the space and they did the rest including tables and set up. Provided us with a bartender as well. Cannot say enough good things. Recommend highly.

Matthew's Catering was the vendor we used for our wedding this past weekend at Allen Hill Farm. We were so pleased with everything about working with Linda, Matt, and Penny. From the beginning, they were all so flexible and easy going about the wedding process, which made our wedding pretty stress free! On the day of the wedding, the food was amazing.

One of our guests who is vegan said "it was the best vegan wedding food they have ever had". They truly understood the vibe we were going for, and made us feel supported the entire night. A special shout out to Linda for being the on site coordinator the day of the wedding, and making the barn look EXACTLY how I pictured for our wedding day. She even went above and beyond by helping to facilitate our rehearsal and gave us pointers for all parts of the wedding. We would highly recommend Matthew's for any event in the area!

My wedding is coming up this June (2020), and I reached out to Matthews to hire their services. I spoke to Penny who seemed very nice, and helpful, initially. I told her that I had already decided on a menu, and provided an overview of the services I required. Along with a primarily American cuisine, I needed a hint of Jamaican flavor, which could be in the form of an appetizer, as I am Jamaican.

She said the chef would be able to prepare something and we could have further discussions upon meeting. I offered to send the menu, and other specifics like date, venue, time of event, guest count, and a suggested meeting date, via email. Penny agreed, and promised to reply, after receipt. l sent the email minutes after our telephone conversation.

After 10 days and not receiving a response, I called their office, as I failed to believe that It was poor service and, or total disregard. I presumed there may have been a reasonable explanation. I spoke to Penny and expressed disappointment in not receiving a response, and told her that it's concerning when someone seeks a service, reach out to the service provider, and have to follow-up for a response.

The mare thought of not coming through on the day of the wedding, is frightening. Penny, apologized for the lack of a response and went on to say that Matthew had questions regarding my email. I was alarmed as I thought if nothing else, that would have triggered a response. She went on to say that many times they send emails to people who don't see them, because they went to their spam folder.

That was not the case in my instance. She further commented that they couldn't have met with me on the suggested date anyway, as they had a lot going on. She said that an email was drafted to be sent to me but somehow did not get out. Immediately, after she told me that she suggested that ITS BEST THAT I TOOK MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. When asked what was her reason, she said because obviously I am not happy with the interaction with them so she suggests that I TOOK MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

As insulted and shocked as I was, it suddenly became evident to me that there was no remorse for the tardiness, and would seem as though the lack of response was not an oversight but a deliberate act.

Matthew's Catering Company recently catered one of our events and I could not ask for better food! The pricing, quality, and service exceeded my expectations. I cant wait to use them again!

I've been to several events catered by Matthew's Catering over the last few years. The food is excellent. They are a great caterer and will work with you to reduce costs. I haven't actually contracted them myself but people talk when you ask "Who made this great food?" They have a stellar reputation.
