Food was fine for lunch. The interior needs help and it's very dark in there. I like dark but it's too dark. None of them wear masks during covid-19 so that's kind of gross. They were very polite though. I can recommend for take out only.

Every Tuesday my wife and I support small businesses as they are struggling during COVID-19. Last Tuesday we tried Main St. Deli for takeout the staff was friendly. My wife got the Egg Salad Sandwich and I got the Chefs Salad. First off there was hardly any meat in the Chefs Salad it was all lettuce and Croutons. My wife's Egg Salad Sandwich was "meh". We wanted to love Main St. Deli but we would not be back.

Nice atmosphere. Great chicken salad with an abundant amount of chicken! They were busy so make sure you have time to sit and enjoy your food.

No atmosphere. We ordered the French onion soup, we sent it back! Asked for the cream of crab, it was overly thick and had a raw flour taste, didn't eat it either. My Reuben was dry and barely any sauerkraut, the chips that were served with our sandwiches must have been from the bottom of the bag, mostly crumbs and pieces.

Sad! Our service was 50/50, we started with one server who was very nice and ended up with another who really didn't seem to want to be there. The food however was 100% disappointing. Our server made several trips back and forth to the kitchen to keep informing us that want we wanted to order from the menu couldn't be made because they didn't have the ingredients. I think this place is going for a high end dinner vibe and completely missing the mark. Very dark, dingy feel to the dining area and food is nothing special.

It's been a while since we've been here, and we weren't as impressed this time. I had the crab quiche and cream of crab soup, both of which have been my favorites. The quiche, although plentiful was dry, and the soup was seperating. We all got the sweet tea, which wasn't sweet at all. The staff was slow, and seemed easily distracted by other things, frequently forgetting what they were getting for us. Hoping this was just a really off day for them, so we'll try stopping back.

This is my favorite place to eat in Chambersburg! A ton of my friends come here every year for the ice festival and I think about it all year long! Staff is fantastic and super patient with us. We usually split up into separate groups for different times because there are way too many of us! Lolz!

There are several reasons for this two star rating. The waitress was the best part of my experience. The tables, although wiped, were still grimy. The prices are higher in the restaurant than shown on the website. The large tossed salad was in no way large and included few vegetables other than the romaine lettuce. The atmosphere was depressing and the entire place is in need of an update.

There was music playing, but not for the pleasure of the customers. It sounded like a small portable radio in the kitchen area. These are probably the reasons we were the only two patrons during lunchtime on a Saturday.

I have entered the building twice. First to eat lunch a few months back and just now to get breakfast take out. Both time Marie was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. The first visit she was inattentive and not very polite. The second time will make me never enter the establishment again. I walked in at 10:56 and asked if I could get takeout breakfast.

Which they serve until 11am. Marie's response was not polite and I told her my first experience was not well then she approached me and got in my face to say "nobody has ever said that before" it was very confrontational. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED STAYING FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Stopped in one day with some co-workers for lunch and walked back out due to a odor in the building. Smelled musty and damp not very pleasant atmosphere to have lunch.

Was there in late September doing research on my family. Kind of the only game on town. So had to eat lunch there twice. Just ok. Run of the mill sandwiches. Had the tuna one day and forgot what I had the second day. Servers were very pleasant. Wish they would up their game a bit.

This was the worst possible food, I don't understand how a business stays open serving what they did to us. Special crab dip, came out clearly just warmed in the microwave old burnt pieces trying to be hid in the congealed mess, the tostada's served with it were very old and stale. $7. For a small portion of this. Orders a Reuben, a kids chicken tender meal and a bacon ranch chicken panini. 8, 6 and 11 dollars.

All served with stale chips and hard dry pickles. The chicken tenders we're clearly microwaved soggy gross mess. Child could not eat anything. Rueben had very tough dry corned beef the little that was on it, old watery sauerkraut and soggy bread. Fiance had the panini which had rubbery chicken but he did say the bread was good. Service was very nice and mostly prompt though.

On Yelp I read "deli" I thought okay I have 15 minutes before my meeting I'll pop in and grab some garbage food for breakfast. I walked in and was a little surprised by the cafe style restaurant and no chips, sodas, or candy bars. The hostess could tell I was new, she said "please, sit anywhere" I asked if they do take out and she said "sure, just wait at the back table for a moment." She came over and took my order, sausage egg, and cheese on a bagel. I paid 3 bucks and it was ready in a jiffy. I must say this was a quality meal. I will return for sure.

They use chicken out of the can. I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich and it had no sauce. The waiter said "you saw the sign- chicken & parmesan, it doesn't say sauce." WOW! First time in my life I ever ordered Chicken Parmesan and sauce wasn't a part of it? Never went back. Go to Veroni Cafe down the block or Ping's for lunch.

Sorry to say that it was just "Meh." I stopped in for a take-out lunch and it seemed like the lady who took my order was put out a bit by having to help me. The food didn't take too long to be prepared and I brought it back to the office to eat at my desk. A "Chicken Cordon Bleu" wrap which was assembled nicely though a bit dry. It came with only a pickle well wrapped in cellophane. Chips would have been nice.

My family hosted a luncheon engagement party here last month. We enjoyed the space and the layout of the tables, which created a pleasant atmosphere. We were pleased to see that, upon our arrival, the food was already set out. And the staff prepared take-away packages for some of the leftover dessert, which we appreciated. However, we were very disappointed with the quality of the food, especially given the amount of money we paid (about $50/person for the food and space rental).

The salmon we were given for the main course was tough and flavorless and the rest of the food was also quite lackluster. Quantity seemed to have been prioritized - there was an enormous amount of food for the number of guests - and given the cost, we really expected higher-quality food.

Too pricey. I ordered a simple chicken sandwich which was listed as $6.25. I said I don't need the bread. She turned it into a salad and charged me $9.28. I would have been happier with just the chicken sandwich and just throw away the bread. Thanks for an expensive lunch. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Had my daughters wedding reception here, what a great venue, food was top notch and they decorated for the event. I received lots of compliments of the venue and the food. I would highly recommend this venue for catering, and events.

The french toast was dry, no butter offered to try to moisten it up a bit. They shorted both of us on our order of bacon. Service was extremely slow, especially considering there were only 2 other tables of 2 guests each, and there were 2 servers. In the hour that it took us to be served and eat, our drinks were refilled once -- and that while we were still waiting for our food, and we had to request it. No one ever checked on us. This was my first visit to this restaurant. And my last.
