My favorit place for bakery, patisserie and confectionary. Everything is tasty, looking appetizing and always fresh. Big choice from Swiss classics like Cremeschnitten and Zimtschnecken (but much better then elsewhere) or hard to find Eclaires to XXL Prussiens. Good choice of vegan products. And everyrhing koscher :)

Their cremshnits and rolls are heaven.purely out of this world

AWESOME EVERYTHING! I completely checked these folks out due to the Yelp reviews I read. I was VERY apprehensive as I was choosing a catered family holiday meal for 30 people and had NO personal referrals to ask. I chose them after speaking and reviewing 7 different catering companies. Well all I can say, is that they ABSOLUTELY 'hit it out of the park'!

The food was ready when we went to pick it up. The food was excellent! Tasty, flavorful and absolutely delicious! And unexpectedly, they gave generous portions. I don't know what else to say other than I 100% completely appreciated my experience with them and WITHOUT hesitation, would use them again and would recommend to anyone! Thank you for making me look good to my family and friends.

So many choices, available fresh! I was unsure what to pickup and ended up buying a fresh vegetable salad for lunch.

Very good kosher takeout. The sides like kasha varnishkas and mushroom barley are excellent.

A huge variety of dairy and pareve products (bakery, sandwiches, pastry). Friendly staff. Good prices. I totally recommend it.

Great little bakery with a nice selection of different bread and pastries. Obviously quite famous in Zurich's Jewish community, this bakery is becoming a hot spot in the neighborhood with customers of all different backgrounds

I agree 100% with one of those reviews "not recommended". big rip off. There is no way you can justify $18 for a quart of Cole slaw. It's cabbage carrot Mayo and sugar. Literally over a $1000% markup. Rip off! I should of left it on the counter instead of paying. This is a place that does not get a second chance

Just had Thanksgiving meal for 12 catered by Ma'adan. Couldn't have been happier with the quality and freshness of the food. While not inexpensive, felt well worth the price paid. We'll be ordering from Ma'adan for holidays and events for years to come.

I didn't enjoy the experience I had at this bakery. The sales assistant was cold and rude. The bakery itself sells nothing special. Hot drinks are made by a machine where all you need to do is to push a button. So you'd definitely not come here to try Zurich's best coffee. When I picked up my hot drink, it started burning my fingers and I had to quickly place the hot drink down on the table closest to me.

The sales assistant started complaining that I couldn't be in that particular area of the bakery. She rushed me out of the bakery instead of trying to help me. She then must've felt bad about the bad service she gave me and then came out of the store to give me some serviettes so that I could hold the hot drink. Honestly? It was too little too late. I left the store feeling angry. Conclusion: bad service, average products on sale, below average hot drinks being made.

This review is for their customer service and matzah balls! During the day time on a weekday no one seems to be in there, but all the employees were busy clearly making fresh foods. They asked me what I needed right away and the cashier was very friendly (Unlike Noahs Ark across the street). The soup is a bit pricey at $8.99 a qt, but the matza balls were so big and delicious and worth the money for a homemade taste.

They have a deli on the left, hot prepared foods on the right, and other prepared foods throughout. The bagels in the deli were tempting so I will have to come back. At first I thought they had catering only, but anyone can come in to order, order over the phone or online. The customer service is much nicer here than other Kosher places on Cedar Lane so I recommend buying your kosher foods here only!

I used Ma'adan to cater a 25-person event and I couldn't have been happier. The owner went above and beyond on everything. And the food was delicious. Definitely recommend!

I stopped by yesterday to pick up some takeout for dinner. First time trying them out. The neat lasagna was absolutely incredible. I bought large servings and it was gone before I had more than one bite. My husband and sons were fighting over it. My oldest son asked when could we have it again. Marc was so nice and so helpful. I will definitely be back.

Their food is fabulous! I don't keep even keep kosher but go out of my way for their delicacies. Their fish is by far some of the best. Same with the cheese blintzes! They have done catering for our family's events. They are so professional and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Great food and staff! Seems like the new food added to the menu was inspired by a new chef!

Hired Ma'Adan to cater our event giving them only 2 work days notice before our sons bris. They took care of everything (food, set up, furniture, table cloth, decorations, venue clean up). About 50% more guests showed up than had RSVPed. Ma'adan staff realized well before we did and took action. They were able to supplement with food from their retail shop before the guests came out for breakfast and everyone enjoyed a delicious meal. Very reasonable and very easy to work with. Highest recommendation.
