They had an incredible waitstaff! I was with a group and they made sure that everyone had everything they needed. But I was disappointed in my french dip sandwich. It is one of my favs but while the bread was really tasty.the main attraction.the BEEF was very very sad. It was way over cooked and extremely dry. Some parts were very chewy. It was like it had been sitting around for awhile. Such a same because the au jus was good.not salty like some I have had but it could not bring the beef back to life. Great cold beer too!

We had a group gathering yesterday and had a very pleasant time even eating outdoors. The staff was welcoming and personable. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We were served quickly and efficiently and the servers made great conversation as well as providing everything we needed. We will continue to eat here.

Favorite for quick weekend brunch-good variety of food, nice outdoor seating, and great service. Food 4/5 Menu with enough variety to suit everyone. Chicken Cobb salad is hearty with a large serving of roasted chicken. Fish tacos ate excellent, and there are different hamburgers to suit many tastes. My Swiss cheese and mushroom burger was yummy and my friend 's double patty burger was done just right.

Also vegetarian items are available. Family and pet friendly. Service 5/5 On this lovely warm day Phillip filled our orders quickly and perfectly, making sure we all got our food just as we stipulated, checked several times to be sure everything was ok (even though the patio was busy) and made sure our beverage glasses stayed full. Some restaurants have trouble keeping indoor and outdoor tables well served, but this one has it right.

Facility 4/5 Outdoor tables are well spaced and away from the road. They are covered so you don't have to position umbrellas to eat in the shade. Location 5/5 Near town and shopping. Easy to find.

Such a great menu. Wings are killer and Pot Roast Sandwich. This exists nowhere else. Sit down, and enjoy! The original location is great, but this Oconee County spot is the good stuff.

Great place. You can feel that warning energy. The food was good but drinks were honestly weak. I would go again for the food.

I got the Moose sandwich. But no moose were harmed in the making of this! It is roast beef, coleslaw, and Monterey jack cheese with some horseradish. The service was prompt and the food was good. The tater tots were amazing! Enjoy a meal in this relaxed sports pub type atmosphere.

I went for trivia night & it was the time of my life. Great atmosphere, great bartender, great vibes. Our server Mark was EXCELLENT. Can not stress this enough, ask for Mark! I had the salmon, 10/10! Almost rivals Ray's On The River.

We love locos everywhere but on Timothy Road. The service is terrible so we stopped coming and tonight we tried take out just to see if it was gonna be any better since they seemed to always blame the kitchen backup on to go orders when we would have to wait for a table in a 20% full restaurant or why our food took over an hour to come out. Come to find out the to go area is also just as screwed up. Ordered and it said 20 minutes. Waited 25 to give them a little grace period. Got here and was tricked into thinking it was ready and paid and then she tells me it'll be another 20 minutes. They know their bad and people will walk that's why they resort to trickery. Never coming back here again either way.

One of our favorite places in Athens. The food is always very good and service is prompt and courteous. It's just a pleasant atmosphere in which to dine.

Went into locos today (3/18) food was amazing and wait staff was super friendly, one problem I stood at the host stand for about 5 minutes and when I peaked around the corner I saw the host sitting in the back on her phone like she was taking a phone call (hopefully for a small emergency and not just because) Thankyou to my waitress you definitely made the experience better then what it was going to be for me

Good food, cocktails a little light on alcohol but tasty. Service could have been a little more attentive keeping drinks full but overall good experience. Will be going back.

Great food but the service was a little under par. It took a long time to even have drink orders put in for our table. The portions of food and the quality of it made up for the underwhelming service. I would go back again still

Our family orders delivery here at least once a week. Try the chicken philly sandwich with cajun fries! The service is always really cool.

Frequent customers to this location. Had lunch today. One item we ordered was 8 classic wings. One of the wings was just a tiny piece of chicken. We left this classic wing on the plate. We will not return.

We were so excited to go to Locos today because our grandson had talked about how good it was, but how disappointing! We ordered and got our drinks immediately. Forty minutes later we have not seen our waiter, George, and no food. Our son-in-law got up and found a waitress. Our food was there in two minutes, but it was all cold. Very disappointed!

After food was delivered our waiter, George, showed up to ask us if we needed anything else. We told, George, about the cold food and he said that he would talk to his manager. He returned in two minutes with fresh hot fries, but we were running late to our appointment, so we had to box up everything and leave. I asked George what happened and he said that they were so busy, but that simply was not true.

Those hot fries got there too quickly. I am not sure that I will ever give them a second chance. Making a mistake- forgetting about us and leaving our food waiting to be served and then serving it cold- and then lying to cover it up. Sad for our grandson who spoke so highly of Locos. Perhaps the manager should have made an appearance :-

One dumb decision by a single manager, who put his server in a very awkward position (but she got tipped well anyway), results in a 30+ year customer deciding to never go back again. I had been substituting some potato skins for the regular side options since forever, but this asshole decided that he would charge for a full appetizer, then sent the server to tell me, instead of coming to talk to me in person, you chickenshit.

This is a good pub. Food is always pretty good 7.5 out of 10. Good for game days. Drinks are OK. Not a huge variety of mixed alcoholic beverages. There wings are about a 8 out of 10 to me. All in all a good place to eat on night out with friends. UGA games are a pretty big thing here and it usually has a nice crowd on games days so it's best to come early. Not a lot of parking but usually there a spot or two even if it's a pretty packed crowd. Tacos are good here and so is there cheese dip.

No one in here but still takes 40 minutes to get a sandwich and a salad to the table. Food is standard bar fare. Certainly not worth a 40 minute wait. I would hate to see what they did with a complicated order. Used to a great place to get a quick bite, no longer.

The fish tacos were incredibly bland. The wings were incredible. The patio was nice. Kaitie's service was awesome.

I would not have eaten at Locos Grill & Pub due to their Yelp reviews. This is the type of place where I need and depend on Yelp to save me. It looks great from the street, and in fact the patio is comfortable and functional, and it looks like so many corporate run Mexican chains that you feel instantly comfortable with where you are and what you will receive in the way of food, but it does not live up to the street appeal.

It looks clean from the outside but astute Yelpers point out that it has a sketch record with the Health Department. They have numerous repeat health violations, which is something that the corporate run Mexican chains never have. For the most part, big corporate run restaurants look clean because they are clean, and they know what they are doing. So, why did we eat here?

We were meeting a couple from Athens, a blind date if you will, and they picked the restaurant. In full disclosure this is only the second restaurant where I have eaten sense March of last year, 2020 year of Foodie hell! The couple both has the French Dip, I had the steak tacos, and Jeff had the ill advised fish tacos. The couple did not complain about their French Dip, but our tacos were dry, poorly executed awfulness.

The tortilla was cold and tasted like it was just pulled from a refrigerator, and the meats, the fish and the steak, were dried out like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for days. So my taco was four elements; a cold tortilla pulled from a fridge and never seeing a plancha, steak that had set out until it was so hard and dry it was a danger to cracking your teeth, pre-shredded yellow cheese, and the pico that came with the chips, and it was just bloody awful.

I think Jeff's taco only had 3 elements, and those of you who know my husband know if he paid for it he will eat it. He only ate a couple bites. I am sure if we had not been on a date, he would have sent it back and just at the chips and salsa. It was that bad. So, Locos Grill & Pub looks like a big, clean, corporate run Mexican chain restaurant where you expect corporate cleanliness and a level of expected corporate Executive Chef designed food, but that is not what you get. You get amateurishly designed and ill executed food that you do not expect in a building with a sketchy relationship with the Health Department.

David is just wonderful! I brought my daughter and 3 grandchildren to Locos and he was just great! He entertained my grandson like he was his son. My grandson brought a action figure in with him and David showed him all kinds of different things the toy can do. The food is always good and the beer is always cold! Great job David and thank you so much!

Great service, but after seeing a roach crawling on my beer I won't be back for food.

We walked in with 3 adults and 5 kids! None of the employees an eye, they set us a table and our server was Davon. She was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend you request her the next time your there! Food was good, Mojito was delicious, but the service was the best I've had in a long time! It's not easy to wait on a table we're the adults are out numbered! Thank you Davon!

Got a delivery from Westside logos called manager told me that they don't give more than this because of Kevin if you don't have it don't sell it

Had the best takeout from here tonight, mild wings, mushroom Swiss burger and steak tacos. The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly! Very friendly staff.

Excellent online delivery service on a Friday night! They called me to confirm my delivery and had my order right. Awesome customer service!

This place was very close by they had a live band playing that sounded great and good wasn't to bad either I order the wings and sweet potato fries the food came out piping hot which was good the sweet potato fries could have been cook longer but other than that I could try this place again

I had dinner at Loco's with two friends right before the Thanksgiving holidays and it was fine. Really nothing stood out one way or another. I feel that we more or less got what we paid for and I'm OK with that. My favorite part was probably the $3 22oz Yuengling special. The food and service were decent but nothing special. I wouldn't be opposed to returning but I also won't hustle back.
