Very difficult to get a hold of, bordering on unresponsive. Stuck up and quite presumptive. Not willing to work with me even within their parameters. Obviously they don't want my business. No thank you.

8/9 pounds of Steel Head Trout = GIGI is a HAPPY GIRL! My sister had her rehearsal dinner catered by Peas N Pod and it was FABULOUS. That is, when the food was FINALLY SERVED! There were about 60 or so people at this dinner, which was served buffet style, and we had SO MANY LEFT OVERS. I had trout for breakfast, lunch, 4 pm snack and dinner for about 3 days in a row after the rehearsal dinner! AH HA HA!

I am NOT complaining! It was cooked to perfection! PERRRRRFECTION! **The fish was so good that two of my friends and I went into the kitchen when no one was looking and ATE 1/2 a fish when no one was looking. We looked like DOGS, but it was THAT GOOD!** We also used Peas N Pod catering the Sunday after the wedding for breakfast, which everyone enjoyed A LOT as well!

I definitely recommend Peas N Pod to anyone looking to cater a big or small event! Food we had catered for Rehearsal Dinner: - Grilled Steelhead Trout - Salad - Chicken Mole - Some extremely rich CHEESE DISH - Asparagus Food we had catered for Breakfast: - Smoked Salmon - Bagels - Muffins - Pastries - Sausage - Fruit

I have used Peas 'N' Pod a number of times for everything from small dinner parties to large formal events and have always been more than pleased. Their food is wonderful and their service is impeccable. Even for the most informal gathering, they handle all of the details and are totally reliable. There is a good reason they cater many of the most important events in Santa Fe!

I've had mixed views about this catering business for a number of years. I've been involved in booking them to do special events at least half a dozen times for mid-to-large scale events and usually they pull it off. I think it depends on what you order, and the event. For example, tonight I was at an event they catered where the food was specifically designated to be "southwestern style", and it went over like gangbusters. People, including myself, came back for seconds (and a lot of the older people came back for thirds). BUT I have seen in the past that when it isn't a southwestern style cuisine type of meal, and I do blame the clientele on this, the food was less warmly received (Nobody touched the salmon dish).

The staff in all cases has been incredibly friendly, and the menu is usually easy to work with. There can be wild card issues, usually based on the people who hire this business' lack of management skills. For example, bringing in a dessert from another business can cause a little bit of chaos. So if you hire Peas. Let them cater the ENTIRE food menu and do their job instead of bringing in a cake from whole foods and surprising them, and then expecting them to understand that THEY need to serve it, without letting them know in advance.

I appreciate their time management skills also. The staff was very prepared, 30 minutes before the start of the event I attended, even when one of the less inept organizers told 50% of the guests that they needed to be at the event a half hour earlier than the official invitation. And yes, I was given leftovers after the event! BONUS!
