J J Hills Restaurant & Wine

We stayed for two nights in a Grand Fireplace View King. It was on the main floor with direct access to a yard and the main pool. The room, staff, dining room, and amenities were great. We will be staying here again, just not in any western facing rooms. We were not notified of a large corporate gathering happening just 15 feet from our window. The noise was persistent and LOUD until 10 pm for two nights in a row. Children were playing on our patio, driving our dog mad and we didn't get to enjoy the view because our blinds had to be shut (didn't want to give drunk business men a show).

It was impossible to relax and we found ourselves not wanting to be in the suite. A real bummer, considering the money we spent on it. Hopefully our next stay is better, because the location is great.

My family stayed at Icicle Village for four nights in February and loved it. We were part of a larger group that stayed in several rooms/condos. The kids loved the heated outdoor pool and hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with some great hot food items from eggs and hash browns to French toast and waffles - it was a perfect start before heading out skiing each morning. Walking distance to town and several nearby restaurants. Staff was friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back!

Definitely better than a 2-star hotel. Not sure where Google got that rating. Very quick and smooth check-in process. I showed up early, and my room wasn't ready yet. They called me once it was ready for me to check in. Check out was done by text so I could just go straight from my room to my car. Breakfast was quite good. The restaurant was good as well for dinner.

Room was very comfy. They're within about a 12-min walk to the downtown area. Closer to the park for some nice walking and scenery. WiFi was excellent and supported streaming without a hitch. Shower had great water pressure. All around an excellent experience.

Great stay. We stayed in the condos. They let us check in early. Had a few issues but they got resolved rather fast Great free breakfast! Hot tub and pools are nice. I like that they text you once you arrive. And you are able to text questions or concerns with a response in a timely matter

Appearance 8/10. Beds were not comfortable unfortunately and because they have the hot tub and pool outside open all year I wish they had more robes. When asking they had ran out, (front desk didn't see helpful since they looked like they were rushing to cleaning up for the night.) I was confused to how since it's a resort? The breakfast was decent pretty bland and dry.

The breakfast was great. Aspen condos are nice and quiet but old and several things were broken or didn't work. Great location. The Alpine Spa is AWESOME. A bit pricey for the condos. If you want to enjoy a relaxing getaway do not stay in the hotel side, grab a condo or suite. Private and quiet. No room service. Beds are comfy. Spa bath is great.

Invited to stay here over the summer of 2021 with my friends and enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy, staff was responsive, polite and following Covid protocols. The interior and exterior was very cleanly. The pool area was relaxing and the complimentary breakfast had the right amount of options (although some of us did wish there was bacon). Parking was easy, we didn't worry about leaving anything outside but always best to be cautious and not leave any valuables in a vehicle anywhere. Conveniently located downtown which allowed us to leave our vehicle in their parking lot and take a 10-15 min walk to all of the shops and attractions. Booked another stay + spa package for my upcoming trip!

Spent a lovely couple of nights here with two other couples in a three bedroom condo. Everything was well prepared, despite their having received 4 FEET of snow in just 24 hours just before our arrival. The spa was a delightful add on for us ladies, and our visit to the shops in town was wonderful!

Had Christmas dinner here and it was both delicious and well priced! The staff were also amazing and incredibly nice. One of the male staff (grill manager perhaps?) gave us some great tips for places to see in and around Leavenworth before we leave.

The room is spacious and clean. Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, and lotion are all provided. There's a coffee machine, tea, coffee, and microwave inside the room but, no bottled water. You can always get free hot water, Tea and coffee 24/7 outside. They also have hot chocolate for free every evening. Luckily, I also got a killer view from my room which is a plus point.

The room also comes with free breakfast, simple and delicious. On top of all the great amenities, the staffs were all very friendly and helpful. The overall experience were just great

Cute place with good food and drinks. Friendly staff. Had the Ruben egg rolls, the steak salad and a cup of chowder. The blueberry lemon drop was yummy too

Ordered take out with wine and took it to our room. Food was great and they made sure to provide everything we needed to serve and enjoy the meal. Staff was great in helping us to order and very friendly. The apple strudel was rich and delicious.

Very happy we chose this hotel. The room was well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. Really enjoyed the gas fireplace on a cold evening. Breakfast was included and very generous. The breakfast options changed daily. Thoughtful touches throughout, such as heaters in the hallway and a filling station for water bottles. Staff was friendly and helpful.

First off, we sat at the bar and Mark was awesome. The blueberry lemon drop (his recipe) was an absolute hitter. I had 2 of them! Unfortunately. that was the only enjoyable part of what we ordered. The chowder was incredibly salty, almost unbearable. The steak was comparable to the taste of a Burger King grill top and the chimichurri on top made it worse. Ketchup would have made it better. But, way to go Mark! The steak wasn't your fault!

Pretty delicious for hotel food, nice variety I mostly loved their late hours. The pretzel was disappointing. It was hard and could've used another dipping sauce. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Just discovered this restaurant attached to the hotel in the area. Friendly staff. The food could use a change of ingredients, especially for $80. Perhaps they could increase their quality and preparation. Burger buns were specifically disappointing. Dessert was good, and drinks were nice. Nothing too special besides the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Stayed at the hotel and went downstairs for late night meal. It was wonderful, the host was very welcoming and the food was so good!

Absolutely amazing! From the steak to the veggies everything was cooked to perfection! Since we are staying at the Icicle Inn we received a coupon for a free dessert, we chose the Black Forest Brownie Sundae, it was superb as well. The outdoor seating was great. Service was outstanding. Nothing at all to complain about!
