Inn Spot Cheffe Colette and Cheffe Pamela opened the original Inn Spot in 1999 in Quogue. The chefs decided to serve a few breakfasts at the restaurant, to augment their very sucessful off pemises catering business, and watched, amazed, as the crowds arrived and would often wait over an hour for a seat. The few breakfasts became its own monster and was soon voted the finest breakfast in the Hamptons.

Amazing, hotel was bought under new management. Everything is brand new. Cottages are updated, clean and the scenery is just breathtaking.

We paid $658 ($705 after taxes and fees) for the "waterview bungalow" for one night. It was as simple as the listing was on Hotels.com: "double bed, bathroom, waterview". No amenities. Not even a microwave or cooler. No place to hang clothes. unless you count the hooks in the bathroom. There is one dresser with shallow shelves. No chair. Just a double bed, bathroom, and a TV.

The TV wasn't set up either. Took us a while to turn it on and set up (the remote batteries were put in wrong). No hairdryer either. The restaurant opens after 5pm so you have tp look for your own breakfast and lunch. There is only one cafe in town that's 2 min away for brunch so the line is endless. We wished there was at least a coffee machine in the room.

Beautiful interiorw. lovely benches and chairs. view outside of room. deck with water and a bridge that you can drive across to the beach.where you have to pay $30 to park or walk 20-30min there for free. The Inn Spot is still waiting for their beach permit for guests. and also has no reception desk so like us, many guests also walked into the restaurant with their luggages confused.

The desk number rings with no answer. (Celia is the one who called us back after we called their sister company EP Marine.) We did not receive any check-in instructions via text which would have been helpful. Sergio, who worked at the restaurant (?) was kind enough to let us into our room. It seemed like the place had just reopened.and it needed to be more organized. this experience was probably worth around $300. not $700.

The food was very delicious! The view was absolutely beautiful too! Also, the staff are very friendly. It was very windy that night and a staff member brought out a blanket for me as she saw I was cold. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal meal. The Duck, the chocolate pasta, the striped bass special were all amazing. Not much on the appetizer front but there was a cheese and honey dish that was great. Daily Specials look s too. And the view.

We had a great experience staying here. Besides the location being beautiful, the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful with anything we needed and any questions we had about the area. The location was perfect too, very close to the beaches and a short drive from some really good restaurants. We'll be back! Thank you for the wonderful time!

Horrible service. Took an hour and a half for our appetizer to come out which was supposed to be gluten free. As we all had began eating the appetizer, the waiter came over to inform us that it was indeed not gluten free. One of us had a gluten allergy. They brought an additional order out that was gluten free but they ended up charging us for all the orders.

When we asked why they were all on the bill, the response from the waitress was, "well you guys ate them." Two out of 5 entrees our were inedible. Will not be returning back.

There is no way to put into words how much we adore this place and ALL of their staff. We vacation here multiple times a year and got engaged here last week. They always go out of their way to make us feel welcome and special. And the food is INCREDIBLE!

I am writing this as the processes. Corrin our waitress is very pleasant. The menu is online, open the camera app, point to the url code, and there it is. We ordered a round of drinks. 3 gin and tonic and 1 vodka seltzer. The view is totally amazing! We ordered 2 crab Basques, 2 fried calamari appetizers. Dinner we are ordering the roast duck, 2 ordered and 2 orders of the crustaceans pot pie, which sounds amazing.

Our soups came. They were very creamy and full of flavor served in a nice bowl portion, delicious. The fried calamari was so delicious, tender served with a marinara and and amazing garlic alioli. The dinner is served. Our ducks were delicious with a nice crusty skin. The marshmallow sauce was a brown sauce with a nice marshmallow flavor. The dirty rice was was very aromatic.

Our wives had the crustacous pot pie. At first glance, I thought it was kind of small, but it was creamy, delicious and very filling. It had a nice array of seafood, shrimp, lobster and scallops. Corrin, our waitress was very nice and attentive and took great care of us. The chef/ owner Colette, came out and chat with us for a while, very nice.

Tired looking surroundings. weeds in the place of grass. pealing paint. Not welcoming at all. just a request for my credit card.full payment due upon arrival. Fortunately I asked to see the room before I surrendered my credit card. The seaside villa was NOT CLEAN, dusty and actual crumbs on the side table from the prior guest UGH! The owner was less than concerned about my findings, , and sent the housekeeper to check.

Actual shrug when I explained how disappointing this was. TERRIBLE a and very Disappointing, as this was my one escape out of my apartment since March due to The current state of life. Clean up your mess Ladies! Oh at $300 per night. I was not expecting the Ritz Carlton, ,, but was expecting to see a clean and welcoming place to spend a few days!

Mitchell and I just came home from a lovely little spot in Hampton bays. Had we known it was so nice we would have booked two nights. Will definitely come back here. We had a delicious dinner prepared by Colette. Nancy serves a whopper of a Bloody Mary and took the sweetest pic of us at sunset set (shell try to sell you a bridge :) ) and Corinne was the best waitress. Thank you ladies. We enjoyed our brief stay very much. we reco Crustacean Pot Pie. Sesame Tuna and chocolate mousse. Yum

Mediocre food everytime we go. The front of house staff is always rude, and rushing their patrons (even though the place is always empty.) They have so much potential to be a great spot, especially because the views are wonderful. The owners just don't seem to care anymore. This place needs new owners and a new chef.

The most beautiful spot to eat, overlooking the lawn and bay. The owner/chefs and servers are lovely and the service is excellent. Cocktails are perfectly balanced. I had the crab bisque, which was nice and the tuna was amazing. My husband had the "chocolate" salad, which was very good. Do not miss the desserts, especially the mousse and the waffles with cannoli cream, and delicious pear brandy. Overall, one of three most gorgeous and pleasant spots to eat in the Hamptons. Also please note they take social distancing, masks, and cleanliness seriously which we were very happy about.

So wonderful to eat out again and what a view! Calamansi cocktails so refreshing! Crustaceous pot pie presented in a beautiful puff pastry, flaky and delicious with chunks of lobster and shrimp! Sesame crusted tuna seared to perfection!

Delicious food. Beautiful views - did I mention DELICIOUS food. Have never been disappointed- chocolate fettuccine is a MUST - and the food truck also never fails to impress. A MUST go to kind of place.

The waiter was nice, as was the view, and the food was okay. But the place has no ambiance at all. It felt oddly abandoned. The other server/greeter wasn't exactly rude, but she was brusque, disinterested and slow. The food is overpriced. They had run out of the fish special by 7:15, despite the fact that the restaurant was about 70% empty. The cocktail menu is meh, and when I ordered a vodka tonic with lime I got a very small and slightly brown slice of lime.

The women's restroom has two stalls, one of which had a broken door. The menu is limited and includes some things that sound plain unappetizing, to be honest. There were only two fish dishes on the main menu, plus the special, which again, they no longer had.at 7:15. I would not go back, and I feel bad saying this, because again, the waiter did a good job. I'd describe him as heroic in a thankless role. I'd call this place the Out Spot.

Every time we've been here the food was as great as the setting. Not sure why some reviews are so bad. Maybe they own restaurants that are in competition with this one? We have stayed at the Inn Spot because they had sweet little cabins where we could stay with our goofy, beloved, big dog. We've sat in the porch for a sunset dinner at the restaurant, looking out over the water. Beautiful. We had great seafood dinners here, on several occasions.

I have eaten here before and the food and service were good enough. The location on the bay is great. But I ate here recently and the service, while polite and cordial, was inattentive. And the food was absolutely bland. What a disappointment. After posting this, I have been reading through the reviews, and more importantly, the replies. All of the replies from management are the same. Stock, cut and paste. Same as the inattentive service provided and the tasteless food. I do wish I could write a good review of this place, but my meal here was the worst in many, many years.

This was the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. The food was awful. Frozen fake seafood with crap ingredients In multiple of the dishes on our table. Lawyer Dublin was supposed to be lobster and crab chunks cooked in sherry with a hint of cream. Reality was it was a few pieces of frozen shrimp cooked in canned Alfredo sauce. The service attitude was heinous- forgot things and then blamed the table.

The server spilled a drink on our table and didn't deal with it until reminded twice and then snapped at us and then blamed the bus girl for silverware issues. We paid the check and got up to leave and the server came running after us to make sure we paid the check. If I had the option of not paying for the crap meal and experience I would, but we had in fact paid and now I leave with a bad taste from food and experience.

Place has a great view. The house freshly made bread was good. The only thing that was good. The crab bisque is more like a crab dip made with imitation crab and a whole stick of butter. The seafood pot pie is made with imitation lobster and frozen seafood in a very sweet buttery sauce. Not worth $34! The Dublin lawyer has no crabs in it and 4 baby frozen shrimp, for $16. Don't recommend any seafood dishes. Is all cheap frozen and imitation seafood.

Stay away. Service was also terrible, and they got upset when we asked for utensils, napkins and water. Also charge you $2 per credit card if you want to use more than one card.

This place is a disappointment. What an amazing setting. But nothing else matches. Food is meh. Kinda bland. Small portions. Expensive. No kids menu or kids food. So much potential and so disappointing. Hampton Bays is stepping up with some pretty fantastic restaurants like Rumba and Cowfish and this place is not living up to new standards. Went back a second time.

I mean it's one of the most beautiful spots in the Hamptons on the water. Such a disappointment. The main dining room is cold and austere. The service is friendly but they started by asking what water we wanted and didn't come back for 10 minutes for either a drink order or drink/food order. Food just ok. We sat wit emply plates and had a hard time flagging someone down to clear and get the bill.

Room was cold and while they offered blankets who wants to sit and eat with blankets! Warm it up. This place needs management who cares about the details, professional service, a new chef and a room overhaul and it would be ideal. Such potential. Call in Gordon Ramsay!

A real delight at the waters edges just across from the US Coast Guard Station, on Lighthouse Road. The Inn Spot on the Bay is a quaint inn not to be missed. The dining room inside is a sunny yellow with original detailed moldings painted white. The windows offer a view of the bay as well as an outdoor dining area and lawn where outdoor weddings can take place.

There are guest rooms in the main house and on the property. There is a small bar too. The menu is upscale in taste and presentation. They do a series of International themed dinners into mid-May as well as a Sunday Brunch. Check their website for which State or Country they are celebrating on the weekend. Their regular menu has favorites like Lobster Bisque, Seafood Pot Pie, Long Island Duck and much more including a homemade crisp they serve at every table. As spring turns to summer, this lull is a great time to visit as the crowds are smaller and the sunsets a bit later so one can enjoy the changing skies and sunsets.

What is going on here? This place could be the absolute best spot in Hampton Bays. They just need to pay more attention to details. The food is still very good, but this places lacks ambiance and a positive vibe. Looks like the owners are giving up. Sitting on a potential goldmine with some TLC. No reason this places should be practically empty on a weekend night in the summer.

Here are a list of some simple, inexpensive fixes. 1. Stain the shingles and paint the the outside decking. 2. Put some white tablecloths on the outdoor tables! 3. Buy a Bluetooth speaker and have some ambient music playing. 4. Remove the old hedges from the back of the deck so you can see the nice lawn leading to the water. 5. Freshen up the front landscaping. Show you care. Overall, I will be returning as the food is good, but I hope they fix some of the minor details that are keeping them down.

Ambience: A+ Cleanliness: A Customer Service: A+ Food: B+ Price -It is mighty pricey for tiny portions but that is sort of a norm when you got out to dine out in the Hamptons. Atmosphere -I went at night so I wasn't able to really see the ocean, by my table did have a good view of it. I imagine this place would be utterly breath taking during the day but it was certainly very pretty at night regardless.

It is small, but not cramped, and has a real home town feel to it. Very nice! Customer Service Not only was our waiter very attentive, but the owner/manger was also constantly making rounds in order to make sure we were well taken care of. Very friendly staff indeed! Food My first course left a little to be desired. I had turkey soup which was somehow bland and salty all at the same time.

The waiter replaced it with salad which was basically lettece and dressing which wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about either. The main course however was VERY good. The portion size left something to be desired, but I ordered ham and mashed potatoes which were mouth watering. I also had a bit of my dad's roast beef which was EVERYTHING; perfectly sliced and juicy. Dessert was yummy as well!

The owner said it was all made in house which was no surprise because it was super fresh, Overall I'll be back! Probably not too offer because it is pricey and you don't get a lot of food but the atmosphere and serve is unrivaled.

I just went there this past weekend for the vegan price fixed dinner. We absolutely LOVED the food! Would definitely come back for the food! The ONLY problem was the service. There was one waitress who was also the only bartender. She was great and really nice but it was so busy. There were a ton of people waiting to be seated and who were also waiting for drinks at the bar.

There was another woman who looked like one of the chefs that came out to help taking orders because it got so busy. Hope they offer this menu again soon but with a couple of more waiters and especially a bartender!

Warmth and smiles greet you upon arrival with collette. Superior service and concern given to clients once you enter. Serene for those of us who need a break from the public eye, noise or to decompress. Choices for Delightful and tasty drinks, piping hot and fresh coffee served up ( without having to ask a server for refills).Views that allow the mind to wonder away from the daily minutia towards.peace, tranquility, familu your with or gaze away to a message plane flying high overhead. Wow!

To locate a spot.inclusive of harmony, food, parking, QUIET, and those who frequent are down to earth respectful (kids/pets) clientele. A hidden gem. Although avoid times when the beach goers are leaving due to high traffic volume. Try the dock, lobster, omelettes or a chilled bellini waterside. Enjoy fellow yelpers!

This was our last stop in Hamptons. We stopped here for brunch. I simply loved the place, the food and the views. Food: We ordered omelettes which were more than good potion size. The food was absolutely delicious. We also converted our brunch to a boozy brunch. The weather was just calling for it. Service: The host was kind enough to give us some warm blankets so that we can sit outside and enjoy the ocean views. Ambience: They have seating inside and outside.

Its the inn's restaurant so its small and cute. They have outdoor seating in the grass with amazing views of the ocean. Very quiet, calm and relaxed. Would definitely go back. maybe even to stay this time.

Collette was extremely accommodating with getting us bigger room fr my family in such short notice. Stayed in the main building the Shinnecock room & Everything abt it was perfect. Bed & daybed were comfortable to sleep on. The food truck n live music was a blast ( wed nite) The view & atmosphere was perfect. Enjoyed the bay breeze that was coming in.

My brother & nephew enjoyed the jet ski rental next door. Dinner was delish. Highly recommend shrimp curry! Will definitely be back & will stay in one of the villas. Happy Summer!
