Giovanni Lavorato is the Owner and Executive Chef of III Amici Ristorante in Linden, New Jersey. Established in 1990, III Amici is a family owned and operated Italian restaurant. Giovanni's son Dante, is the general manager and his daughter Teresa is the office manager at the restaurant. Mr. Giovanni Lavorato began his culinary studies at the age of fourteen at the Scuola Alberghiera at Senigallia, near the capital city of Ancona in the Marche region of Italy by the Adriatic Sea and then in the city of Jesolo near Venice, where he received his diploma.
Over 4,000 copies distributed per month to Clark, Westfield, Rahway, and Springfield Shoppers. Giovanni taught his wait staff well. They are sharp with the service and atmosphere. Although they are not five star waiters, they were pretty close. Giovanni did some renovations since the last time we were there - it looks a lot better. It has that Italian decor you see in the magazines and books about Italy. He has a large banquet hall downstairs for private parties, which can seat about 200 guests.
