We had our wedding reception at Hendri's in October and it was amazing! All of our guests gushed over how incredible the food was. I love the beautiful floor tiling. The venue has this really cool vibe - almost like a speak easy. The bar and archways are beautiful and have some cool history. Dan was wonderful to work with and very attentive to us throughout the planning process. Don't overlook this place because of the outside, the party is inside, and it's perfect!

There are not enough compliments I can give to express my gratitude and experience working with Dan and Mara. We booked with a venue that works with them. Out of all the options on the list, Hendri's is the only place to not only contact us and get to know us, they genuinely cared as well. They listened to our needs, didn't b.s. on pricing and kept everything transparent.

Leading up to our wedding they helped us and the venue come up with the layout for the room, because we were bracing for a cold snowy day. As my stress level was rising, they never fluctuated, they were a solid foundation for us. My husband and I, both respectively work in the industry, so they knew they were in for a party. Boy did they show up. SO MANY of our friends and family raved about the food. Mara absolutely killed it.

I had people telling me how disappointed they were in whoever they had booked with in the past because our menu was that phenomenal. Their bar and wait staff were the most hospitable and helped me right before the walk down the aisle ( makers mark in a champagne flute FTW ). So yes just book Hendri's. You will not regret this dynamic duo just crushing all the other catering companies out there in all areas. Thank you both so much for a perfect reception!

We hosted our wedding reception at Hendri's on Ridgewood. Their event space was warm and inviting. From the beautiful wallpaper, to the wood trim, to the fireplace, it was the perfect venue for our winter wedding. Dan and Mara were a delight to work with and always available to answer questions during the planning process. And the food--YUM! Our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed it. We don't think you can go wrong hosting an event with Hendri's.

Hendri's provided the catering and bar service for our wedding and we received so many compliments on the food. When I say that the food was delicious, I mean it. They allowed for several customizations and we had to specially request a few vegan meals which was not a problem for them at all. I wish I could have eaten more, but I was beyond full. Guests loved it. Highly recommend.

Hendri's was a great team to work with. They catered our wedding at Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park and it was a great experience. The communication was great and I felt confident going into our wedding day that our food and drink would be all set. The food was great and we got complements from our guests about how good the food was. The servers were all super kind and friendly along with the bartender. I highly recommend!

We used Hendri's for our wedding and the food was amazing. Everyone kept telling us through the night how delicious the food and appetizers were. We have zero complaints. The staff was extremely professional and very attentive the entire night. Highly, highly recommend for weddings and other events.

Hendri's set and served a wonderful Sunday Brunch for us after our daughter's wedding. The food was delicious, quiches, meats, breakfast breads and the freshest fruit. The table was set beautifully. Hendri's servers went above and beyond keeping platters filled and used dishes removed. It couldn't have been a better send off to family and friends who joined us for brunch! We will not hesitate to call on Hendri's in the future!

Hendri's catered/hosted my wedding reception and we were very pleased with the result. The owners answered all of our questions and gave great advice to make the evening smoother. Food was great, service was excellent, and the bartender amazing. Very accommodating to any setup plans and last minute plan changes that arose. My only complaint was it was sometimes hard to communicate over email. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a catered venue. Very very pleased.

We had an excellent experience here for my mother in law and father in law's 50th wedding anniversary party!

Since when is it ok to not deliver the service a person paid for. I specifically told the event planner that I'm highly allergic to mushrooms and guess what showed up on my chicken? A crap ton of mushrooms! All they did was say they apologize and can they treat us to dinner? I would not suggest using them if you care about details.

They came out and catered my husbands retirement party, the food as always was amazing and so good. Erin and Catherine were our servers that evening and I cannot sing their praises enough. Those 2 made our party even more of a success with how on top of everything they were. There wasn't one guest that didn't comment on how great the food was and how awesome our servers were. Absolutely would recommend and will use them again!

Dan and Maura and team are awesome to work with. Very creative and the end result is delicious and memorable. Our guests raved about the food. From set-up to clean-up, their team is professional, efficient and friendly.

Catered a wedding and food was ok, staff took plate without even asking if I was done. SMH. Chicken was dry. Beef was mediocre, not much seasoning and green beans definitely needed more salt. not too shabby though.

Food was good for our wedding, but the customer service after has been a complete nightmare. Caution if you use this for your wedding they can't do their accounting correctly and will come after you after the fact demanding more money then blame you saying well you should have known. I think you can find a better cater out there that can do their job correct the first time and take care of their customers unlike Hendri's

This place is a beautiful venue for receptions & weddings. What you may not know is they also do to go dinners for Thursday night's. We tried it for the first time last week. The special was a gouda burger, so yummy. Had these amazing yummy roasted potatoes. You always get a sweet treat. Last week was a pastry. This week they had Huge Cheese Ravioli!

Italian salad with this unspeakable dressing, so good. The sweet treat is this chocolate moose with the tiniest little spoons. Such friendly employees too. Just gotta call by Wednesday to place your order for Thursday's to go dinners.

Used Hendi's for our wedding and thought it would be good. A month after the fact Dan said he did math wrong and decided he wanted an extra $1,000.00 after we paid the contacted price the gave us prior to the event. Due to an accounting error on his end he expected us to just come up with the money. Then while figuring out how to pay he took it upon himself to charge my credit card. I would never recommend this company or to work with Dan.

Is a perfect venue for celebrations. Staff is incredibly helpful. Great food and welcoming atmosphere.

They did an absolutely amazing job adhering to covid regulations. My cousin's small birthday dinner was a hit. I will be highly considering Hendri's for my next event. They can accommodate to small, intimate events or larger ones. The food? Let me just say I had an onset of "the itis" quick! The food was so good, well seasoned. And the DJ they had blew my mind LOL! It was overall an amazing time that I am glad I didn't miss!

I have had Hendri's catering many times through the years. It is always impeccably presented and very flavorful. This week I decided to try their weekly take out meals. I got dinner for 4 people and they were well packed, packed with flavor, included a dessert and all at a very reasonable price! Would highly recommend them.

Booked Hendri's for my wedding reception this past weekend. Best decision EVER. Dan, Mara and the entire staff were unbelievably nice and so helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was set up perfectly and that all my guests were taken care of. The food was delicious and unique, and everyone loved it. Dan and Mara kept in constant contact with me theought the entire planning process and were so flexible when I needed to go set up.

They always answered the phone and answered all of my questions quickly. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was stressful, but My mind was at ease when dealing with Hendri's. They followed Covid 19 protocols and created a safe and welcoming environment. They even went above and beyond to pack up all of our decorations and centerpieces for us to pick up at a later date! Amazing customer service! Anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate setting for any event, book with Hendri's! You won't be disappointed!

Our wedding ceremony and reception was held here on March 22,2019. Never in my wildest dreams would I have expected the quality of care and service we received from the staff at Hendri's Events. Over the top care and service. The food was amazing! The pork loin was so moist and tender along with the superb potato's, pasta and salad. The. bartenders. applause applause.

They know how to pour a drink. Dan, obvious it is your leadership and expectation of the highest quality service that has been placed in the DNA of your staff. Kudos to all of you for helping to make our wedding the most memorable night of our lives. Thank you!

Hendri's catered our daughter's wedding, with buffet hors d'oeuvres for 90 in May, and did it beautifully. They were patient and attentive through several phone calls and emails, and made sure things were done as we wished. The food was very good, with attention to vegetarians and non, as requested. The staff and servers took good care of us on the night. We recommend them unreservedly.

We used Hendri's for our buffet wedding dinner, and it was a hit! We got a mac and cheese pasta, an assortment of veggies, and a chicken dish. We also requested that Hendri's do a late night toasted raviolis for us, and they were very accommodating. The service was great, the pricing was very reasonable, and everyone had great things to say about the food. We would recommend Hendri's for catering events!

Our wedding reception at Hendri's was outstanding. Dan & Mara--the owners and operators--provided exceptional service and valuable advice at every stage of our planning. They were so friendly and accommodating, as well as very prompt in answering questions for us. The food was excellent; our guests were still bringing it up to us for days after the event.

The bar had great beers in stock and Urban Chestnut Zwickel on tap, in addition to good house selections of wine and the standard liquors. We couldn't believe how reasonably priced everything was compared to the many other venues we toured. Hendri's is really a hidden gem in South Saint Louis City. It's such a cool space--very charming and elegant.

Hendri's is the kind of catering gig you dream of, seriously, when you're a party planner. Their company helped up throw an amazing "Back to School Party" for staff and faculty and everyone was relaxed, cheery and happily reconnecting after a long summer. This was in large part due to Dan/Maura and their outstanding staff AND their fantastic foodstuffs!

The menu does not shy away from trying current or trendy flavor profiles but also has an arsenal (and I do mean arsenal) of tasty, comfy, time-tested foods both finger and plated. Unbelievably gorgeous and multiple flavors of Deviled Egg, crispy Adobe Beggar's Purse, Brie Quesadillas with fresh Mango, Satays, Chipotle BBQ Burger Bites (addictive), Sushi (Maki) Rolls, Hummus Boards, Spanakopitas with just the right seasoning and just the right crunch, and our absolute favorite was the Mini Roasted New Potatoes filled with the creamiest of Goat Cheeses (topped with or without Chives or Bacon).

For me what is one of the biggest take-aways about Hendri's is the price point. St. Louis is weighed down with TOO many catering establishments that overcharge by two and three times what they should, holding their customers financially hostage while only offering tiny doll house food that can NEVER be served at the temperatures they ought. Hendri's takes the high road leaving them all behind and gives you all the gourmet you can handle without the gouge. We will happily and hungrily be employing Hendri's for our next party. Thank you for everything!

Huge thanks to Dan, Mara, and the rest of the Hendri's staff that made our reception so easy for me! The food was delicious and I received many compliments from our guests. They really made the whole event run so seamlessly and were very pleasant to work with. Dan even offered suggestions towards the reception above and beyond the scope of the caterer. Very happy with everything and wouldn't hesitate to call them again!

Hendri's catered our wedding at another venue (not their venue). The food was absolutely fantastic! All of our guests were so impressed and I got many, many requests for the caterers' name. They were super helpful leading up to our big day, helping with room set-up and planning while staying within our budget. They set up everything just the way I wanted it for our reception, from table signs to escort cards and they worked with the bakery and florist to coordinate their deliveries as well. They were by far the best value of all the caterers I had to choose from at my venue. Highly recommend!
