You can get deli sandwiches or a sit down meal with plenty of options available and a pretty wide selection of local wines and national brands that you recognize and a huge beer case with cold beer

We were driving home from Arizona and saw the signs for Granzella's. We like to support local businesses and so we ordered a couple of their "premium" sandwiches to go. A to-go order of two sandwiches, two diet cokes and one small bag of chips set us back $37 (after taxes and a sandwich maker tip) They screwed up my Polska kielbasa by adding melted cheese to it.

I get sick from dairy, so I couldn't eat it. So my husband traded me for his sandwich which had been advertised as this amazing Italian deli sandwich. It was like a field trip lunch packed by a mom who didn't like her kid. A small sandwich on what seemed like grocery store bread: the bread was stale and dry and the meat was surprisingly bland. I ended up feeding most of it to my dog. She liked it but she's a lab, so. We won't be back.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner on Sunday. We were promptly seated. We were greeted and our orders were promptly delivered. We had the Reuben sandwiches with the homemade potato salad. Oh my gosh! It was so delicious! The potato salad was amazing. Our server was amazing!

We kicked off our vacation by stopping here for dinner. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The portions were huge. Kind of too huge if you don't want to overindulge! We had the hot turkey sandwich and the eggplant parmigiana. Weird combo lol. Both were awesome. My husband ate his whole turkey dish! I definitely had leftovers from the eggplant. I'd never had it served that way. Very large, separate slices of eggplant parmigiana rather than a layered style dish.

This review is for dine in food only. I ordered the muffaletta salad and it was terrible. the lettuce was iceberg and brown. clearly you can see the ridiculous tomato. The kicker was I took a bite of a pickle and it tasted like lotion like someone used their bare hand to put it in the plate right after putting on hand sanitizer or lotion. So gross.

My mom ordered the turkey sandwich bread was not toasted turkey was flavorless and the tomato was terrible also. Just pay packaged things or get ice cream. This place sucks and is waaaay over priced. That salad was $16.95

Great local place with local charm. I only had dessert and drinks here, but the dessert was made in-house and tasted fantastic. The drinks were also good, not watered down. The staff was friendly and the founder's grandson was very talkative when we asked about the history of the place. If you like a unique place that just wants to serve good food and keep its customers happy, this is it!

Granzella's is located in Williams, in the middle of nowhere, it seems.however, this is a great little oasis for drivers along our vast highway. It is a bit spendy, a tourist trap tis true, however, they do carry some wonderful food products from around the world as well as local. Be prepared to spend, but do not partake in getting fuel here Have a nice stay and happy eating

Always a great stop for a bite to eat. Food is nothing fancy but they have a decent menu. Not to mention great little finds in the store. Gelato, deli sandwiches, fresh breads, olive oils and jams!

My second time here on the way to Oregon. Clean bathrooms, great selections of pickled stuff and seasonings. The family and I got a kick out of seeing all the goodies that they have. They also have a bar, dine in restaurant and a deli for sandwiches. This time we got to dine in for lunch. We were promptly giving a table, menus and water all around. Gave us a few minutes to go over the menu.

We ordered club sandwich, the gnocchi with pesto and the chicken fried steak. Friday special for soup was clam chowder. The clam chowder was excellent, the smokiness of the bacon really cam through and it was chock full pf potatoes and clams. The club sandwich was massive with thick cuts of turkey and the crispiest bacon ever (just how I like my bacon too).

The gnocchi with pesto was delicious and very filling. The chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection. The wait staff are very efficient, we got our food in a timely fashion and it was piping hot. We were checked upon frequently and they were all very nice and engaging. Still need to try their deli for their beautiful looking sandwiches. The store front.olives, pickled carrots, pickled beets, dipping oil galore. definitely a must stop!

Had a coffee and Pizza (wish waiting wasn't so long though). Fantastic place to stop by if you're passing through Williams on I-5. Can't wait to give a 5-star already for the ambience!

Stopped by Granzellas on the way home. I wanted to try them out since they were featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. The taste of the food itself gets a 5 out of 5, but the customer service plus the price definitely brings it down. First, the burger was $20. It was good, but not $20 good. Maybe $15. Even the guests around me were saying how the prices have gone up/ how expensive it was.

Not to mention that the table they sat me at was dirty and I felt like they were rushing me the whole time. The gift shop lady was not friendly at all. The older lady in the deli was nice, but the younger one definitely acted like she didn't want to be there at all. It's a shame because I really had high hopes for this place.

We enjoyed our getaway afternoon at Granzella's, from Sacramento, ca. This time we ate lunch in the bar dining room. One of two dining rooms, along with the walk up deli, dessert, coffee and Gelato bar.:):). The service and food were great. Colleen was a great server. This destination is great for the freeway traveler, family fun. Check out the store with all the local and import food goods. Lots of parking, and outside setting. Electric car chargers.

This should be their motto: Granzella Sports lounge, we serve gasoline, and we're not a gas station. A stiff drink is what you need after a hard days labour and that's what you're going to get. All in an environment of what looks like if Cabellas did a collaboration with ESPN. Granzella has the city locked on some type of Sopranos level.

The inn, the deli, the lounge, then go and get something for your family at the gift shop. Williams is an interesting town and one day I would like to spend a night at the Inn and see what more it has to offer.

Haven't been in YEARS! Packed (as usual.) Only had to wait about 20 minutes. Enough time to shop and use RR. Met fun people at next table, wait staff friendly, plenty of sports going on (Masters golf & MLB.) Great good, really loved the flatbread. A fun stop on way home from weekend getaway.

This was my first time here and it is truly a neat place for numerous reasons! I went with a party of 5 people right at the lunch rush and they sat us down right away. There are taxidermied animals along with sports memorabilia all over the walld which was really neat to see. This is just in the restraunt. They have a store as well with many different sauces, spices and other things to buy! I highly reccomend this place!

Childhood favorite of mine. Seriously, excellent and friendly customer service at the deli counter. Get the Muffaletta spread. It is to die for. I've never actually eaten in the restaurant just ordered sandwiches through the deli. Huge selection of jarred olives, pickles, fruit spreads, baked goods and delicious focaccia.

Solid deli with nice shopping area for jams, olives, sauces and such. And a great sports bar in the back which itself is probably 5 stars; this review is for the deli. Let's be frank -- given that this place is in the middle of a whole lot of nothing, Granzella's gets an automatic one-star upgrade. Drop this place in the middle of NYC and it's probably 3 to 3.5 stars.

But here, off I5, in the central valley, it's a welcome oasis of food, and a nice stop on the trip up to Redding, Eugene, or beyond. They have a full make-your-own-sandwich selection but they also have some specials -- I can't remember their names and they make it WAY too hard to find the full deli menu online so all I can say is: keep an out for the specials, one is kind of an italian sandwich that comes with a side salad (and is very good) and the turkey with cranberry sauce is great, too.

I think they have meatloaf and/or meatballs and both of those were amazing as well. If I could spell muffuletta, I'd recommend that, too, as again, I think they have one.

Got some takeout biscuits and gravy here. Biscuits were for sure home made, they were big and delicious. The gravy most definitely was out of a packet tho, super disappointed because it seemed like a sweet small town home style restaurant. The hostess was great, service was amazing. But I would not recommend the b&gs.

I pulled up across the street to supercharge my Tesla and saw this interesting looking place, walked across the street and it was indeed very interesting. They've got a hotel next door and a shop across from the deli itself. There were lots of interesting things on the shelves here, everything from a vast wine selection to jars of jelly and souvenirs and a beautiful looking deli.

I ordered up a couple of sandwiches which we got to go and ate on our way down to Los Angeles, they were very good, fresh, good quality meats and made with love by the staff behind the deli counter, I will definitely come back when I'm back up in Northern California. Thanks.

A MUST STOP when driving on I-5! This is a great place to eat or grab a sandwich! The Muffaletta sandwich is the BEST! Make sure you look inside the sports bar! There is an amazing collection of taxidermy! They also make their own olives and muffaletta mix that you can buy! I highly suggest getting some gelato! The make it everyday as well. The staff is extremely friendly and everything comes out quick! Also if you need a place to stay they have a hotel right next-door. It's very clean and affordable!

Uuumm. can somebody tell me why the faaack this place is rated so high?! Honestly though. Between the lack of service, mediocre food, and old decor, I'm surprised this place even survived the pandemic. But wait; it's really the only thing out there in the small town of Williams. Now it makes sense. Stopped here for dinner this past summer on my way home from Redding.

A few locals had recommended this place to me. After reading all of the rave reviews, I figured I'd give it a shot. This place has been around for a really long time and is a historic landmark in this area. Maybe it was good at some point in time, but it's definitely not poppin' now. Walked in and I was warmly greeted by the host. She was very pleasant and sat me at a table right away.

That was about the only good thing going for this place. Once I sat down, it was like I was invisible. Sat there waiting and waiting for someone to come to my table. A lady finally comes around and drops off a menu. First thing that I noticed was the menu prices were kind of high. But this place is kind of a tourist trap, so I wasn't really trippin' at first. Ordered the Spinach ravioli with marinara sauce and raspberry iced tea.

It came with a small side salad and a piece of garlic bread. The salad was decent. Just your average side salad but they add muffuletta to theirs. I don't know. it just didn't seem like the muffuletta should have been in there. On a sandwich, yes. but in a salad?! It just tasted a bit weird to me. When the ravioli got delivered to my table, I had to do a double take.

When I read "spinach ravioli" on the menu, I assumed that it would be stuffed with it. It was actually in the pasta dough. Like, green colored raviolis. Very disappointing. The marinara sauce looked and tasted like it had come out of a can. The cheese on top wasn't even melted. They just threw some parmesan shreds in there and called it a day.

I feel like a 5 year old child could have prepared this dish better. And you're charging $20+ for this?! Straight up highway robbery! I wouldn't even pay half that much for that on a good day. The "service" (or lack there of ) was basically non-existent. Only saw homegirl when she took my order and then when she brought over my check. Other than that, it was like I was invisible.

There was no kind of interaction whatsoever. These people should be embarrassed for serving this kind of food to people and for charging these ridiculously high prices. They're taking advantage of the fact that they're the only real establishment out in these parts. But even with that, I would drive a little further for something better. Don't waste your time and money on this place.

We stopped here on our way home from Oregon and I'm so glad we did! What a fun place! Food was excellent, more taxidermy than I'll ever see in a lifetime with some really cool animals, and fantastic shopping with all kinds of yummy stuff. Very convenient on/off the fwy, I'll definitely be back!

The turkey and bacon in my club sandwhich tasted excellent. Very good food and friendly people. They have a restaurant, sports bar, and large deli area with a big selection to choose from. Don't hesitate to check this place out. The perfect spot for a meal and cold drinks not far off Interstate 5 and plenty of parking.

Another road trip north allowed me the opportunity to stop back in to Granzella's. This experience wasn't as good as the first, but it's still a great spot to stop in for a quality sandwich on a strip of the I-5 that otherwise doesn't have much in the way of dining options. The pros of this visit echoed my previous experience: an incredible hot reuben sandwich, one of the better gift shops and selections of food items I've seen in a "touristy" stopover and some super friendly staff who were very patient with me when I put in multiple sandwich orders.

The con this time, which I usually don't even comment on at restaurants but was so blatant here that it needs commenting, was the complete disregard for masks and COVID protocol. Despite signage up front that clearly said masks were required and the employees wearing masks, there was only one customer in two dozen besides myself who was wearing one.

I am no fanatic by any means, but the combination of disrespect and lack of enforcement was pretty annoying. Consider that last part a one-time hiccup. Otherwise, come through here and show them some support!
