This is one of the poorest quality arrangements I've ever received. Flowers falling off, leaves yellow, just awful.

Worst experience ever. Ordered ( stupidly ) two different flower arrangements days apart. One to be delivered next day and one four days later for my mothers birthday. Of course my mothers flowers were never delivered and she got nothing for her birthday, as much as we tried to brighten her days. I called three times during the day to check the status of the delivery and kept being lied to that it is "on the truck ".

The worst. No one to speak with after their promised delivery by time is never met. Will definitely be contesting both charges on my credit card. Don't ever use them or fall for their false advertisement

For my birthday, my sister's surprised me with a beautiful delivery flower arrangement as well as a Happy Birthday balloon. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous, fresh and smell so lovely! I would definitely recommend using Axelrod & Bennett for flower delivery. No wonder why they have been in business for 100 years, they know what they are doing

If I could give it a zero, I would! Got a pathetic flower arrangement on the 24th of January (although the card said "delivery, Jan. 23rd"). Called them the next day, left a message because no one picked up the phone. Called again the following day, was told a new arrangement would get delivered the next day. The next day we got the arrangement at 10:27pm! As we were settled in bed a loud knock on our door interrupts us.it was the florist kid making the delivery! So don't order from them!

Staff was more than accommodating, even during a pandemic to assist in a very upsetting time. Purchased a balloon package that brought huge smiles to my loved ones face. I know bc the delivery drive called to inform the joy it brought

On October 16th, I was surprise to receive a wonderful floral arrangement for Axelrod Florist for my 25th Job Anniversary along with another gift. Unfortunately, the gift wasn't what I expected, however when I called & emailed to expressed by concerns, they responded immediately as well as provided potential options to fix my situation. Weeks later because I was waiting on action for my employer, I reached out to them today, to express what I would like and by the end of the day I received a wonderful dish garden arrangement.

When I say I was impressed, grateful and appreciative that the service I received was exceptional. I want to thank Bruce Axelrod & Team for making my day. Thank You, Thank You, Thank you!

The flowers were beautiful but they died in less than a week, even the greenery is dead. I made sure they had enough water. It's really quite strange. My sister-in-laws would be mortified if I told them.

Deluxe arrangement ordered thru flowers.com was pathetic and arrived late. I sent a picture of the arrangement to the florist the next day. Two large orange roses, four small roses, ten carnations and bunch of greenery. Not worth the 67 dollar price. They said the arrangement was not finished but it went out anyway! What BullShit! Axelrod flowers should be out of business! Don't use them

Horrible! Absolutely horrible! Tried to surprise my wife for our anniversary only to have and call 4 times to finally get the flowers. Order was placed through 1800 flowers but the delivery wasn't made at all yet they sent the confirmation that it was; wander who got the nice flowers? When it was finally delivered it was way to late the next day. Pathetic

Purchased via 3rd party site. Absolutely beautiful arrangement, my grandmother loves it! Appreciate that the flowers came early in the day. 10/10 would purchase again

My mom is 85 and lives in Philly, while I am in San Francisco, so the text beforehand and the call when the driver was at my mom's door was a sweet extra touch that I really appreciated. The flowers were lovely:). Will use them again for sure:) -Xiomara

I received a small simple sympathy arrangement from this florist, it would have been lovely but. The water in the vase was brown, slimy and smelly, like what happens after you've had an arrangement for a week. The daisies seemed to be at the end of their life span as they were browning and falling apart. It seems like this florist got the order and just grabbed whatever they had sitting there and just replaced the 2 roses because those seemed to be fresh?

Ordered flowers through 1800 flowers for a funeral and discussed timing with the florist, to ensure they would be there in time for the viewing. Was told that they always coordinate with the funeral home/church to ensure timing. They assured me they would be there in time which in fact was a lie. The viewing began at 945 and they did not show up until 11, at the beginning of the mass. Would never recommend.

Believe all of the negative reviews you read on here regarding Axelrod and Bennett. I made the mistake of ordering a Christmas arrangement though them; never again. Evidently they are 1-800-Flowers.com local florist, as the item had a 1-800-florist tag on it. Despite the heft price tag, this piece had a grand total of 3 tiny roses and 6 red carnations, plus some white mums.

The piece did not appear to be fresh - although I was told that they were arranged fresh every morning! Also, the prices online vary greatly from the prices quoted over the phone (for the same arrangement.) Also, they brag about "no service fee, " but neglect to mention a $17 delivery fee. I made a mistake; I learned from it. There are many other options for quality flowers in the NE Philly area. I thought I would give Axelrod a try; I am sorry I did.

My husband ordered me 2 dozen pink roses from FTD. They were arranged and delivered by Axelrod Flowers. This florist should be ashamed of themselves. My husband spent $175 on the roses and what I received was a disgrace. The roses were bruised. They had black and yellow spots all over them. The green foliage in the arrangement was so dead that it was brown and crumbly.

The arrangement looked like it had been left in the back of the delivery van for a week. We received a refund from FTD. Shame on you for ruining my birthday surprise flower delivery with your old rotten roses!

The flowers were ok. I ordered through 1800 flowers which uses local florist near the area of delivery. The white flowers were slightly brown and other flowers looked a little beat down. Also, the delivery person looked at my hand as if I was giving them a tip. The tip is: bring me better flowers next time.

I don't typically write reviews but I just had to try and prevent others from going through the same experience I had with this florist. Do not use this florist! I ordered flowers as part of a Flower of the Month club through a national floral program. They select florists whom are part of their network. The flowers were for my parents and they died/were dying within a few days of arrival.

By the time they died, and my parents notified me, and I notified the national floral company and they contacted Axelrod, they said it was beyond their 7 day freshness window and that they should have been notified prior to the 7 days. In addition, they said that they delivered them on a Friday (when no one was home for 3 days and I told them they couldn't deliver until Monday) when they couldn't have.

They delivered them on Monday (no wonder they died). My parents had received about 7 or 8 floral arrangements from other florists under the Flower of the Month club and were very satisfied. This florist delivered flowers that died way to early for the price AND their customer service is horrible! I will never use this florist and I have instructed the national florist to not use them on my account and to consider using them at all. Use someone else, or your flowers will die.
