Events Catering Welcome to Events Catering, where we have been making history since 1987! It has been our extreme pleasure to be a part of so many celebrations, all of them unique and very special. Craig and I started this business many years ago with not much more than guts and the desire to build our own destiny. We worked long, hard hours, had second jobs and spent many a sleepless night. I sold the parties, and then we'd go in a rented kitchen and make it happen. Luckily those days are far behind us as we have been very blessed.

Owner is unprofessional. Beware they'll make promises they can't keep. Kiss your money goodbye if you need to cancel. They'll keep it and then make excuses.

So I am not one to write reviews we all know only really pissed tend to write negative ones and sometimes their views can be skewed. But as a proffessional in the industry I could not go along without addressing the defamatory and outrageous claims of this venue. To state a person whom has never been disrespectful or unkind to staff be spoken to and degarded simply perhaps because she does not meet the skin color expectations of her name or have a client that demands reasonable explanations and treatment is crazy.

Be clear this venue could not pick me out of a line up of 2 because my concerns, needs or expertise was absolutely ignored and they had no interest in persevering a proper working enviorment. Be aware this place is nothing it pretends to be. I understand that you may not please all clients as a professional personally I understand that and sympathzie with the pressures that any venue experienced in 2020 but to taunt and be nasty to a clients, who are dealing with the most stressful event in ones life, just simply because you don't like them asking for money back for a service you did not provide or may not share your point of view is very telling about a manager or owner.

To attempt to tarnish other professionals whom actually have 5 star ratings and reviews of over 600 pleased clients and to actually never did you get the pleasure of working with, in order or preserve the poor the standard of service is ridiculous. I would hope for a response better than f*** off but looking at the response and quality of those owning an operating this facility its likely the largest word in their language warehouse.

I hope that other vendors have had a better experience but to my understanding if you don't fit a particular party or skin color they are not very nice to you (and my experience has been they are just nasty to everyone). I recommend that if you choose to have your event at this beautiful facility which it really is, be sure to call your attorney and demand that they are honest with you and avoid April at all cost as she has proven to be less than a southern belle.

Just my thoughts and I hope 2021 proves them to be better but based on the reviews it not looking likely. Again becareful and thoughtful of your response as my dear mother says a word to wise is sufficient but a word to a fool will never do.

Rude staff and director who doesn't care about ruining your day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVoWS5zIpu8 "Staff at this wedding venue is shockingly odd. They harassed the cinema crew pretty much the entire day. At some points even moving our cinema cameras and turning off our cinema lighting. In this video we have the director of the facility pretty much telling me tough luck even though we were LIVE in the middle of a couple seeing each other for the very first time ever in their wedding tux/dress. I tried to stop her with hand signals but then when all else failed I asked her what she was doing."

My husband and I loved our experience at Events Catering! Linda and April were wonderful and helped us with each step along the way. Our reception was beyond compare & our guests continue to rave about it. Our event captain, Gary, was incredibly attentive and personable. An amazing experience! ~ Jackie and Tim Wintch

Came here todo a photo shoot and parked in public parking to see the covered bridge. Will waiting on our clients this woman comes out and tells us we have to move and that this was private property. She was very rude and demanding. I don't see me ever wanting to be anywhere near here again.

Choosing a venue that is tied to a catering company and having to sign a contract before you have gotten to try any of the food can be a little nerve wracking. However, I truly loved the aesthetic at Roswell Mill Club, as well as the staff who I met and emailed with in the early stages, and something about the venue just felt right. All of the reviews I read about the food were positive, so we took a leap of faith and went ahead with booking. and I am SO glad we did!

The food was indeed fantastic, from Pecan Crusted Chicken to Beef Tenderloin to the salads and sides. One of the crowd favorites was the Kentucky Bourbon Meatballs passed as guests were arriving. In addition to the excellent food, the staff at Events Catering are great. Linda was fantastic to work with and was amazingly communicative; I would often receive nearly instant replies to emails, sometimes on weekends, evenings, or in spite of the fact that Linda had an 'out of office' alert on that day.

Her responsiveness was hugely reassuring, as I did most of the planning from out of town. She answered all of my questions and helped us with planning a great menu. The event captain Scott checked in on my husband and I, as well as our parents and grandparents, all night to make sure we had drinks and were attended to. All of the wait staff and bartenders were friendly and enthusiastic.

And the space! The openness of it, with the large windows overlooking the water and the old mill transition beautifully from light-filled daytime into the evening dancing hours. Guests especially loved slipping out onto the large deck for a bit of fresh air or a game of cornhole. We really appreciated that the venue was weather-proof; even if there had been rain, the covered deck would have continued to provide an enjoyable and useful outdoor space.

We had a group of about 110 guests in total, and that felt perfect to us. We had a crowd that stayed up and dancing the whole night once the floor opened up, and the venue felt like it had the perfect balance of room to breathe without feeling too sparsely filled. The venue's proximity to the covered bridge and the water also provided a fantastic opportunity for great wedding party and couples portraits. All in all, Roswell Mill and their staff were FABULOUS and we would highly recommend the venue to anyone!

Came to the Roswell mill club a few months ago when looking for our wedding venue. We had an early appointment and after finishing a bit ahead of schedule with our last tour, we decided to head on over to the Roswell Mill Club a bit early. We arrived about ten minutes ahead of schedule and the doors were locked. We knocked on the door and the owner came around with a confused, slightly annoyed look on her face.

She opened the door for us and informed us that we were early, which obviously we already knew. She wasn't going to let us in at all but all three of us had to use the rest room so she begrudgingly let us in and rushed off to do whatever it was that was she had to take care of. When she came back she showed us the grounds and the room that our wedding would be in.

The place was nice, very beautiful but, unfortunately nothing like what we had imagined. The pictures online are a bit misleading. The wedding area was very small, cramped and plain. It would have taken us a lot of money to decorate the bare bones of the outdoor patio. I was willing to let this slide at the time but when we went inside to view the reception area it only got worse.

The reception hall on the first look was beautiful. Gorgeous bar area and plenty of space. The problem lay in the decor we were ALLOWED to use. They had some very tacky letters hanging in the front area that I asked if we could take down and replace with our monogram. NO! I asked if we could have our own caterer. NO! Asked if we could provide our own drinks or bartender. NO! Asked if we could change certain linens. NO!

Everything we asked seemed to be met with a resounding NO. On top of all of this, the venue has more than one reception area so we stood the chance of sharing the outside space with another wedding. Maybe it's just me, but a wedding is supposed to be a private event that you personalize to make yours and this is not the place to do so. You have to go with their design, their food, their decor, their ideas. Not a fan! As a side note, the owner that took us on the tour was not very personable and could stand to take a course or two in customer service.

My husband and I got married at Old Roswell Mill in November 2014 and we were thrilled to have Events Catering host our wedding. Everyone was very nice and went out of their way to make the wedding beautiful despite the fact we had to move it inside because the weather was freezing (I was a little disappointed). Our guests repeatedly told us it was the nicest wedding they had been to in years.

The food was very good (even better than at the tasting). April and her staff will go out of their way to make sure every detail is taken care of. They are truly professional and an experienced wedding venue! If you are having a hard time choosing a wedding venue, I assure you Events Catering is the way to go!

My wife and I are using Events Catering to host our Wedding Reception. I must say that the staff has made this an overly easy and enjoyable experience for us. They have taken care of everything for us and pretty much removed the stress that comes with booking a banquet. Our reception is being held at Roswell Mill Club. It is very classy and has just the right touch of perfection.

From the beautiful inside area to the large outdoor covered patio, RMC takes the cake. If you are looking for an intimate location for 60-100 guests, this place is the one for you. Not only did they quote a fantastic price, but they really listened to our needs and made us feel welcome. We can't wait for our guests to party with us on July 7! Our sincerest thanks goes out to Linda Petsis!
