Our family had the ham and sausage and it was so good we sent it to all my clients. They also loved them as they were presented extremely well and said they tasted fantastic! 5 Stars all day long!

Needed 20 lbs of pulled pork for a family party. They were so great to work with.best tasting pulled pork I have ever had. They had it in pans to reheat in oven, as I got the day before the event. Made my life much easier! You got a new customer Echo Valley!

I have only purchased their ribeye steaks, and they are the best steaks I have EVER eaten! You can cut them with a butter knife! Tender, juicy and delicious! Friendly staff, and also decent prices especially right now during the pandemic.

Love summer sausage! Saw their segment on Shark Tank and wanted to give them a try since they're in Illinois and I live in Chicago and I like to support local businesses whenever possible! For $39.99 of their sampler pack + $9 shipping I think the quantity is pretty good. 5 of each of their summer sausage (garlic, original and smoky). It took about a week from order to receipt but I live about 150 miles from them so I didn't expect shipping to be a problem.

In terms of the food, I think it's pretty good! It's on par with some of the other non-grocery chain summer sausage. I wish there was more of a distinct difference between the garlic, original and smoky as they taste very similar. Overall, I was pleased enough to buy some of their bundled options as Christmas gift packages for a few meat lover friends I have.

Read about this place. What a treasure. Sorry no pictures. It is a small butcher shop. What a selection of great meat? If you are in the Peoria area and want a great selection of high quality meat then it is worth the trip.

When I went in I was sorely disappointed. When I go to a meat market I expect at the minimum a selection of pork, beef, chicken, luncheon slices, cheeses, on all forms from ground to steak to roasts. The selection here was nominal. I saw a couple of steaks here and there, some processed meat, ground meat, then a bunch of spreads and what not. I went across the street to Kroger' where they at least had roasts. Sorely disappointed! This is not a meat market. It's a half filled cooler display.

Recommended by a friend, I was very happy with Echo Valley Meats! Ordered the Rancher's Choice package - twelve steaks for our family of four. Delivery was quick and easy - Our steaks arrived neatly packaged, vacuum-sealed and frozen in dry ice. The filet's were tender and absolutely delicious. We're looking forward to enjoying the NY strips this upcoming weekend.

It was a bit pricey yes, but well worth it in my opinion - especially when we can't get out to a favorite restaurant during this pandemic lock down. We will order again for sure.

So disappointed in their catered food for an event I went to. There was hardly anything that either my husband or I liked, and he'll eat anything. The mashed potatoes were so liquidity that they were closer to potato soup, the honey bourbon sauce I could have gotten drunk off of and almost had to spit out because it was too disgusting, and the pulled pork was so finely shredded that it was mushy. I work in events, and have worked with a lot of different caterers, but this food I would never accept for one of my parties!

After seeing Echo Valley Meats on a Sharktank rerun I decided to order some filets and ribeyes. Upon opening the filet package I immediately noticed that the steaks were cut at angle where one side was 3/4" thinner than the other side. This makes it impossible to cook the steak evenly and at $45/lb you want to be able to cook the steak perfectly. Expectations are very high at these ridiculous prices and they couldn't even cut the steaks flat?

I immediately went on line and sent them an email and I didn't hear back. So then I tried calling and the phone rang forever before I could even leave a message and my phone call was never returned! There isn't any customer service to be had with this company and after looking on their website further there isn't any customer satisfaction guaranty-"All sales final!" There are far better online steak retailers so I wouldn't ever recomend this company to anyone.

Very disappointed. Ordered some steaks from the website they arrived in a cooler with dry ice but the steaks had thawed out. I called to make sure they were safe to eat but they had closed. Left a message asking them to contact me.never heard back from them. Decided to role the dice and cooked a rib eye last night hoping they hadn't spoiled in shipping. Well it hadn't spoiled but the steak was super dry. Like I said super disappointed, no customer service and a dry steak to boot

Like many others I saw this gentleman on Shark Tank who seemed really committed to the best quality, etc. I ordered three items online. Steaks, ham, and brisket. The brisket was totally dry and quite a shock at how crappy it was. It was simply terrible and amazing to me how terrible and dry it was. I could get better brisket frankly, almost anywhere.

It comes pre-sliced, which may be the problem, vacuum packed like bacon. Ok, whatever, On to the ham. Ok, the ham was average. Nothing special, nothing great, nothing bad, just average ham anyone could make anywhere. But understand: the price for this brisket and ham is astronomically high, compared to a market or deli. So. massive disappointment, felt really bad about buying.

But the steaks were utterly superb, and my guess is that this is where the business probably originates from, killer steaks. I could not complain--except, the steaks were still MUCH more than the best steaks from a fine butcher, so. kind of yes and no. Well, I wish I could rave about my order online, because the gent seems really likeable, but beware, and only order steaks, if you do! Would I re-order? No. I can find killer steaks at my butcher. Sadly, I can't recommend.

Heard good things about echo valley so I went for some filets fit Mother's Day. Was expecting a premium taste but noticed no difference than Kroger.

We heard about Echo Valley Meats on tv - Shark Tank and Good Company so we took a drive to check them out. We only bought some deli meat at the time but we'd like to go back to buy some steaks. The store was clean and the people were friendly. My rating is based on the fact that we didn't actually taste the meat, I'll review again once we do.

The product that Echo Valley Meats puts out is top notch! The summer sausages are divine, and my favorite is the cheddar one of course! I definitely plan to order what Dave has to offer, and get it down here in Texas. I can't wait to cook up these steaks!

I was told to stop by and try the brisket sandwich from their lunch grill. To say that it's the best brisket in the area is an understatement, maybe the best brisket I've ever eaten

Delicious! We love buying our meat from Echo Valley It is always high quality, and you can't beat the value. The staff is always super friendly. The spiral ham we purchased for Christmas this year was just as great! They had it ready for us fast. It is already smoked, carved, and comes with a honey glaze. Yum! And by the way, the Sharks on Shark Tank LOVED the food. They just didn't agree with the proposed business venture.

Ordered some filets and all I can say is that I could have left the sharp knife in the drawer. The meat had a texture I was not used to and it separated like a beef brisket, literally just flaked off. Amazing taste. This morning I had some of Echo Valley's bacon and again, it had a terrific taste. It crisped up beautifully and had great texture as well. This was my first Echo Valley order, but not my last.

Having lived in St. Louis and Dallas for a number of years, I was spoiled when it came to brisket, baby back ribs and pork ribs. Both cities are home to some pretty amazing BBQ joints. However, when I moved to Peoria, I didn't know where to turn for meat - I have a smoker, so I enjoy slow-cooking, especially brisket. A friend suggested Echo Valley Meats and Dave Alwan.

The folks at the store in Bartonville are awesome and I think we're almost on a first-name basis considering how many times I stop by, even for a.99 cent smoked sausage stick if I'm in the area. Anytime I'm back in Peoria visiting my family, I make sure to stop by and pick something up for the grill! There are several places in the Peoria area that claim to sell quality meat, but if it's quality meat and quality people you want, Dave Alwan and Echo Valley Meat smokes the competition.

Are you kidding me? Is there a way to make Summer Sausage better and great? I couldn't believe it but there is and Echo Valley Meats have the recipes! Their Summer Sausage is GREAT! I purchased their Gourmet Sausage and Cheese Snack Pack and am in love with the summer sausage, especially the Spicy Summer Sausage. And the cheese is fabulous. It is thick and spreadable.

No fillers here. Just great, smooth cheese. I also purchased the Foreman's Pack with 2 Filets, 2 Rib-eye and 2 New York steaks. I have only tried one of the filets and it melted in my mouth. The only negative I have is that I wished I discovered them sooner. I don't have to think about what to get this Christmas as this is the place I am ordering from. Yum, Yum, YUMMY!

You can't go wrong. You know the feeling? It's the time you taste something and you have to close your eyes and let the whole experience envelope you and all you can do is say, "This is GREAT!" I am looking to try their nuts next. Really, I thought some of these recipes couldn't be improved and they found out how to do it. The BEST!

This past Christmas I sent everyone a gift from Echo Valley Meats. They made it extremely easy to find something for those hard to buy for people on my list. I had all of my meals catered by them.and I saved money this year.not to mention the time I was able to spend with my family. Their Turkey was great for Thanksgiving, Ham the best I ever had for Christmas Eve, and their Prime Rib is now a family favorite for Christmas Dinner.

They made everything so easy for me. I can't wait until next year to do it all over. Until then I will be dining at home more often after hearing everyone who I sent steak boxes to tell me how great the cuts of meat are. Very impressed! If you are not buying from Echo Valley you simply are not buying the best.

Because I am a non-cooker with complete mastery of take-out ordering, I decided that instead of eating out on Thanksgiving I would order Echo Valley's catered Thanksgiving meal. This was one of the best decisions I've made this holiday season! The first part that caught my eye was the $10-per-person price tag and the second part was the menu itself: BOTH turkey breast and ham, stuffing, rolls, cranberry relish, AND my choice of 3 sides.

I chose garlic mashed (completely delicious), corn and cheddar casserole (yummo) and green beans with bacon & onions (very good). Oh and there was TONS of each item. Leftovers even after doling out take home portions to the guests. The only drawbacks were that their location is all the way in Bartonville but is still pretty easy to find and also the storage of the food as you pick it up the day before.

I only have one fridge that is usually empty but for take-out containers so it was not a problem for me but keep that part in mind! Re-heating instructions came with the food although I thought the time estimates were kind of on the low end or else I just like my food super hot. Overall, this is the way to go people! I spent my morning and afternoon hanging with family/friends and enjoying cocktails (seamlessly flowing from mimosas to wine as noon passed by) and only stopped for a bit to pop everything in the roaster/oven for heating.

No pots/pans to clean, only ran the dishwasher once for plates and everyone raved about how yummy it all was. It was even more delicious because I wasn't forced to wake up at 6am to bathe and fondle a disgusting raw turkey with my bathrobe and glasses on!
