When you bring your catering needs to Culinary Concepts we have a special gift for the bride, a custom-designed, handcrafted Ice Sculpture.
We are a full-service catering company that offers a wide range of simple to elegant & affordable options to make your events come together with ease. We offer everything from buffet options, sit-down meals to full-service packages that include five-course meals, butler-style passed hors d'oeuvres, & handcrafted ice sculptures.
Executive Chef & Owner John Simpson has been sculpting ice since 1992. He sculpted the second largest ice sculpture in Utah, following behind the US Olympic Team in 2002. John Simpson was a competitor at the 2010 World Ice Sculpting Competition in Fairbanks, Alaska. John boasts that "If you can supply an image, I can sculpt it!"

We hired John and staff for our wedding. We had 2 kosher, 1 lactose intolerant, and 5 gf people in a group of about 200. John went out of his way (literally) to make sure everyone at my wedding had food they could eat that tastes amazing. He even specially prepared some meatballs for my father, even though my dad told him not to worry about it. My dad then came up to me raving about the tastes and how quickly John made him a plate.
In addition, we didn't have a big enough cake stand for our wedding cake, and wanted it to be the center piece of the food table. John immediately set to work designing a beautiful table that highlighted all the wonderful foods he created with our cake on a stand that he provided. He works hard, and is so creative. His staff was so helpful. We loved every minute of working with them!
