When Chiarello's Hamilton Food Market opened its doors in the fall of 1987, proprietors Kay Chiarello and her sons, Guy, Ralph, and Gary, looked forward to this new venture. The business has been Family Owned since it started many years ago. Chiarello's is a common name heard amongst people in the area whenever there is a catering function.

Been coming here since I was a little kid. They don't play around when it comes to service and quality. Yes you can get a hoagie anywhere. But you can only get a Chiarellos Hoagie from these guys. Wide selection of meats, cheeses and sides. Everything freshly made in store. The pricing is about average for an above average hoagie. Friendly knowledgeable staff. This staple in the community can get pretty busy. Unless you know the busy hours. I would recommend calling in your order.

My new favorite deli. The employees are very nice. The deli is very small but just to pick up hoagies or lottery, it's fine. It's take out only. They sell Boars head. The only cold cuts i will eat.

A Jewel in Hamilton. Boar's head brand cuts. Catered for 35, food was excellent and on time. Chafing equipment was included.

Chiarello's is hands down the best sandwich shop I ever been to. Some of the staff are not the friendliest in the world. (When you say your sandwiches come with lettuce, onion, tomato, oil & vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano - don't cop an attitude when I say I want everything on it but tomatoes then proceed to ask "do you want lettuce", "do you want onion"?

I just told you everything but tomato. You ought to know what you put standard on every sandwich!) Even though they can sometimes be rude and impatient, the sandwiches are totally worth it. I normally prefer soft rolls, but I love their rolls. The outside is crisp and crunchy and the inside soft. The bread, mayo, and cooper sharp cheese combination makes a unique taste you can't find anywhere else.

WORTH THE DRIVE. I live 30 minutes away from Chiarello's. I have been coming here at least every 2 weeks ever since my friend told me about them. Their Hoagies are the best! The size options are great. My goal is to try every single thing on the menu. They are very busy. Expected from a great place. In my experience. Wait time is about 20 min up to an hour. Always call in and know how long you can expect to wait.

The best hoagies in town. The rolls are great. They make them the old school way.

I had gotten Roast Beef and Swiss hoagie with a couple of homemade salads excellent, salads, hoagie were exceptional, I would recommend Chiarellos for your catering needs and for quick lunch, you will enjoy the salads and sandwiches

Haven't been here in a while and now remember why, staff was rude all of them. I was the only person there and they barely acknowledged my presence, didn't say hello thank you or good bye, only what did you order and price. It was $9.49 for a half Italian not inexpensive as most post say with a small bag of chips was over $12. My entire hoagie tasted like celery not sure why lettuce tomato onion or hot peppers would taste like celery but it did and I hate celery.

I will not be returning. From now on Italian peoples or even primos over this place. Also thought maybe the staff had a bad day but when talking to my neighbor apparently they are always pompous.

I heard so many good things about this place, so when I went, my expectations were high. Maybe too high. Everything was very tasty, (potato salad was delicious) but the portions seemed light, and the rolls were not quite as fresh as I expected. To be fair, I went on a Sunday, a day that many bakeries are not baking fresh rolls in the morning. That said, everything was much tastier than something you might get at a place like, say, Subway. I would go there again, but I would order extra meat on the sandwich. Staff was very efficient and friendly.
