Capital City's menu is really extensive and has a ton of delicious Southern options that we were really excited to have at our wedding (namely, the hushpuppy waffles). Overall, the food was good-the fried mac and cheese bites were a particular hit-despite some disappointments (the hushpuppy waffles were quite hard/tough and the cutlery provided wasn't up to the job), and the service was professional. However, there were some issues during the planning process and at the event that we didn't experience with any of our other vendors.
In planning, CCC was difficult to get in touch with on multiple occasions, and communications were lacking. At the event, they worked to get out of there as quick as they could, which led to a missed communication about the doggy bag of food they had packed (i.e. unrefrigerated salmon leftovers discovered a day later). What was most disappointing, though, was that the CCC team insisted on cutting our wedding cake when our wedding planner's team had already begun to do so.
We were really excited about our cake but didn't get a chance to actually eat any of it at our reception. The CCC team informed our wedding planner's team that we had paid a cake-cutting fee (that we never discussed with LeeAnne), and handled it instead. We searched for the leftover cake the next day to discover that the remaining cake (1/3 - 1/2 of the bottom tier) had been thrown out.

Capital City Catering provided the catering for my son's rehearsal dinner this past weekend. WOW. WOW! That should sum it all up. We wanted a southern simple menu that was fabulous. Lee Ann created a PERFECT menu including fresh fried okra, deviled eggs, chicken sliders, club sliders and amazing beef tenderloin carving station. The presentation was perfect and beautiful.
The service was impeccable. All around.it was exactly what I hoped for, what I expected, and everything you want from a catering company. Total satisfaction. Highly recommend.

This is the second year in a row we have used Capital City Catering for our holiday party. The food was amazing as usual! I was able to request and get the same great team that we had last year. Mandy and Zach's attention to detail is impeccable. They really make everything so easy to sit back and enjoy the evening. Presentation is just amazing. When they leave they packed up leftovers and by the look of my house it's hard to believe that a party for a couple of dozen people took place. I will use them again next year and will keep my fingers crossed that Mandy and Zach will be available again!

Capital City provided catering for our reception back on October 27th 2017. We had our reception at Stone River & because of their contract we were limited on which cater we could use. Well I read the reviews for Capital City & LeeAnn was recieving a lot of praise for her outstanding work & delicous food. We were looking forward to working with her.
Well needless to say we didn't receive the great customer service that others spoke of. There were several times we had to contact Stone River to get LeeAnn to return our phone calls or even respond to our emails. I was over them & wished we had other options. We would have had to pay them 1500 dollars to not use them due to their contract with Stone River so we were stuck.
The food alone with the customer service was HORRIBLE. It literally changed the whole mood of our reception. The rice was undercooked some of the chicken & pork chops were dry. We voiced our concerns about the rice immediately but the lady left in charge told LeeAnn there were so complaints. Lies!. Then we were told they would refund us for the rice we recieved a check for a $167.35 mind you our total invoice was over 3 thousand dollars.
When I spoke with the owner, I let him know the check was an insult, so we later received a check for an additional 220 dollars, for a grand total of 387.35. Pretty pitiful if you ask me. We will never use this company again nor will we refer them. LeeAnn was absolutely Horrible. I'm still trying to figure out why we didn't receive this same hospitality as her other clients. Maybe our check wasn't big enough.
