Food was excellent, yet service could be improved. Waitress never gave us her name. Took our order and not once checked on us to see if we were ok. Training needs to be improved. If you want to sit and get your own drinks or boxes to go this is the place to come.

This is a delicious Italian restaurant. The owner, Jackie was very friendly and we really enjoyed our meals. The food is great and we definitely want to go back. The garlic salad was amazing and the eggplant Parmesan was some of the best I ever had.

My family and I went out to dinner at cafe alessio last Sunday night for dinner. It was time to pay the bill and the waitress made a mistake on the bill so we gave her our credit card in the black folder they always present the check in and told her about the mistake. She apologized and said she would take care of it. She returns the black little book with no credit card it in.!

We asked her where the credit card was and she said she never saw it in there and had an attitude about it! She said she would look for it but was clearly just severing her other tables and never found it! We spoke to the owner and she just said I'm sorry as if she didn't believe that her employee lost the credit card! When we got home we cancelled the card. Worst costumer service ever. Looking back at the whole dinner experience I think our waitress was drunk. I will never eat there again!

This place is fantastic. It's always packed, and the outdoor seating in the summer and fall make for a really pleasant dining experience. They have such a wide variety of on their menu you are sure to find something you enjoy. The wait staff is always extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Made the mistake of going here on a Friday night. Made reservations and called that we'd be 20 minutes late, which they had no problem with. Off the bat I noticed something was up because the waitress made the 4 of us share 1 sushi menu. I then felt like she was rushing our order, which is better than being ignored I suppose. We had to wait a while for the food which was expected because it was Friday evening. Sitting outside was very nice as the weather was perfect if you don't mind the noise of what I'll call urban Doylestown.

One of the clean plates we were given had what seemed to be boogie on it, mildly killing the experience. Also, when the sushi finally came out we didn't recognize one of the rolls and asked the waitress who quickly identified it as something other than what I ordered. She apologized but didn't offer to correct it or scratch it from the bill, even though I reassured her it was okay.

I know mistakes happen, particularly when it's busy, but this place is not huge and the staffing seems plentiful. I would like to experience this place on an early weekday, perhaps for lunch, as I think it has much more potential than what I experienced that evening. Then again, generally poor service is often a reflection of poor management. This place is overpriced, as is most of Doylestown. Go to Jules Pizza instead down the street.

Me and my family went for a long ride (2 hours) and ended up in Doylestown by chance. We were hungry and walking around and nobody could decide what we wanted to eat so we just walked into this place by default. This is not our usual type of place to eat, we are more the Red Lobster/Applebees type of eaters.we like to know what to expect. We ordered the pasta in what I recall being a beet sauce.

It was amazing and we were all very very very happy with our choice. The service was very friendly (it was an early afternoon and the place wasn't that busy) and the food was affordable enough.

Love this place! Spring and summer sitting outside enjoying a wide range of food and your own BYOB favorite wine. Very nice! I've never had a mediocre meal here. The Italian food is great and they have very good sushi! The staff is always nice especially Andy who combines a never ending smile and good humor to help make your evening. One of my favorites in the area. Have a bite, drink some wine and then walk around historic Doylestown and see a movie at the County theater. A very enjoyable evening!

I would eat there again if this establishment was the only restaurant in a fifty mile stretch on a turnpike. Otherwise, there are so many other choices in downtown Doylestown, that you can save yourself from ordering very average food for a not so average price. Went with friends, each ordered a different type of food and none of us will even remember how it tasted it was so blah.

The $10 burger came with nothing - it was a piece of meat on a bun, no condiments included, had to ask for lettuce. Getting take out from a pizza place would have been better. Staff was weird - most did not speak English, and some were too eager to take our plates off the table just because some of of put the spoons down for a moment. Saturday during lunchtime - only three tables were taken - should have taken a hint just from that!
