Burger Monster Burger Monster is one of the busiest trucks in the OC, but that is not how we started. We launched sometime ago as The OC Food Truck, for our 1 year anniversary, we closed the truck and opened another. Why? We started out not really knowing a thing about the industry and the business was failing. Worst of all we didn't know why. We, like so many others, didn't research the market and jumped in with both feet. We were working over 60 plus hours a week and didn't even have time for emails.

We knew that there had to be an easier way. By being honest and asking better questions, we eventually developed a successful course of action. We were dancing in the flames and not planning for the future. Once we identified who we really were, we just needed to communicate it. In order to communicate who we are, we changed our name and restructured the business. From our competitors point of view, we evolved overnight into a super efficient and highly popular truck.

Services
Burger Monster began with a simple concept: to provide bold flavors with a focus on standard of quality. Our standard of quality began with distilled wisdom of the industry and of the people we represent- our guest. The standards maintained at Burger Monster are not based on 'rules' rather, we offer ways to do things better.

Where did we come from?
Two average guys. Dylan worked in Guest Services at the Hyatt for 7 years and Kendrick worked for 2 years. Dylan was constantly helping other people find all the best eats in Orange County. Very passionate about food, it was his favorite subject with guests. Back then he was more or less a professional foodie. Kendrick worked as a meeting concierge acting as the liaison between the hotel and the event representative. Dylan and Kendrick meet at the Hyatt and connected with similar entrepreneur spirits.

We wanted to own a restaurant together, but couldn't come up with the capital. So we started a food truck mostly out of an eagerness to own a business and get out of the corporate world. With not a lick of sense, a week before we launched the truck, we quit our jobs and ran with it.

After much feedback, we have learned creating a successful business is just about following simple, specific steps one after another. This realization in combination with applying certain time saving principles changed our views on how to effectively run a business. By applying these same principles throughout our business we understood that it is by far better to be amazing at a few things then OK at a bunch.

So I finally decided to give the mighty melt a second go around. The day that I went the onion rings weren't available which was the 2nd time in a row now. but this time the cook forgot to put on bbq sauce. So I went back and got wolf sauce.which was fucking bomb!

We got the chicken slider from the 3 year anniversary last Saturday. It was really good but a bit too spicy. Even for me and I like spicy. I was wiping my nose haha. but it did help me drink my beer faster. I would go back to try other options. Nice service.

This place wouldn't let me buy a burger without BBQ sauce or mayonnaise. I wanted to take those things off and the employee said no modifications. Can't make a burger the way the customer wants it? You won't be in buisness long.

Customer service not great. I walked up to the window, the person sitting there ignored me, it may have been the cook because he went to the back. I wanted the burger with bacon, etc but asked for no bbq sauce. The person who took my order refused saying the chef will not alter the burgers. So I had to order a different burger, requested with no cheese which they did, so that is altering a burger. Too bad because the burgers are good, but don't like being ignored and not getting my burger how I like it made.

Super rude people, we will never be back. My son ordered Mighty Melt burger with no mayo and no BBQ sauce and the lady said we don't modify our burgers. out. We wondered why everyone is crowded and they have no line.

Great food from the deli. Good service. In general, it can get crowded and noisy. Don't go hungry. Very: 1/2 sandwich with soup. Lots of good options for those who love deli food. Probably a disappointment to others. Vegans re: I think you can do it here, but why? This is not where you go for good vegetables.

They are now located inside SteelCraft in Bellflower. Come on by and show them some love. The American werewolf burger is a true classic with the wolf sauce, crispy lettuce and onions and American cheese. I definitely enjoy this burger and glad they are in Bellflower now.

Very tastey unique crafted burger, full of seasoned band balanced flavor. No skippins on the beef, friendly staff, nice shaded area, chill music, next to craft beer and wine. I'll be coming back again!

Really enjoyed this place. I came on a Sunday and it was pretty dead in the food court and I wasn't expecting much, but boy was I wrong. Got the Dracula burger and Minion fries. Both were excellent, especially the burger which I'll be craving again. Everything is pretty saucy/messy but I was expecting that from the name.

Burger monster is hidden in the weird food court behind Walmart. It's next to the theater. The burgs are all named after universal movie monsters and they all sound really good. I got the wolfman I think and it was surprisingly really good. It was a lot bigger than I expected and I was full like 70% of the way through. The location is bad but the food is worth going a bit out of the way.

Tired the Lycan burger today, and man it's so juicy & flavorful. The presentation on the To-go box was on point as well. Will definitely be coming back & bringing some friends as well!

Please if you're looking for a good hearty American cheeseburger then come check out this amazing burger joint over at the grangehall food hall. They make every burger and fries as soon as you put in the order. The names and burgers are very unique. They are mouth watering monsters that get you full. Come hungry and ready to take on these monster burgers. Also try the grilled cheese. Come support this food hall. They can really show your support.

I ordered the monster melt or melting melt burger combo. I spent about $24.78 there. Angus chuck and short rib patties caught my interest. I'm always willing to try new burgers for new flavors. Well, the pattie had little to no seasoning at all. If it did, the fried cheese over powered the pattie. Bacon was cooked perfectly and the barbeque sauce gave it a kick.

The coleslaw had flavor. But, just about fingertips filled was placed in the center of a pretty nice size burger. Now if the coleslaw was piled on the pattie, the burger would have pleased my taste buds. Now, $24.78 for a burger combo, I was expecting a boom of flavor. The herb fries please me better than the burger. The garlic herb and Parmesan were seasoned perfectly and I could have possibly smelt a hint of ginger and curry.

And the cilantro pesto sauce compliment the fries very well. Brandon the cashier/cook was very professional and kind. I give the place a + just for the friendly service. Although I wasn't pleased with the flavor of the burger, I would try it again. Maybe a different style burger though. Maybe the cook was off his game today. I'm willing to give the place another chance.

Brandon Takanabe started Burger Monster 8 years ago in a food truck serving a variety of specialty burgers piled high with creative toppings & fries. Grange Hall 39 is where you'll find him serving up his messy creations. The Mighty Melt Burger Minion Fries

THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE REVIEW ONLY! Called to order ahead so that food would be ready when we arrived. But the call went to voicemail. OK, no problem. We arrive 10 minutes later and the boy at the front is flirting with two girls. There's NOONE in the cafe, and NOONE in line. I stand 4 feet from the front and they didn't acknowledge me.

Then their phone rings and the boy lets it go to voicemail. And he's still talking to the girls. Annoyed with their unprofessionalism, we left and got food next door at the Signature Pho and Desserts. BurgerMonster probably isn't doing well. Today they just lost 3 sales. Oh well, their loss.

First time here. It is located at the back of the Buena Park Mall in an indoor food court bext to the movie theater. A short walk from Knott's Berry Farm. Service was excellent. Brandon was the only person working and he still prepared our order correctly in a timely manner. We ordered the Dracula burger and Minion Fries. The burger was a good size and had a nice amount of spice.

The Dracula burger comes with pepper jack cheese, jalapeno, jalapeno ketchup, lettuce and avocado.we ordered w/o onions. The Minion fries were great. Topped with plenty of crispy bacon, cheese and house made ranch.we also ordered w/o onions. They are $7, but you get a decent sized order with plenty of toppings. We will definitely be back to try the Reaper burger.

A tasty spot with some unique takes on a super common American classic: the burger. Located in Grange Hall at the Buena Park Mall next to Chubbee Monkee, this location is very easy to access. Parking at the mall is usually very easy to find and parking on the west side of the mall (the side nearest Stanton Ave.) will give you the closest walking distance to this spot.

The prices here are about what you would expect at your typical hip food hall/food truck. That said, you definitely do get solid value when you consider how tasty and sizeable the portions are. I had the Dracula burger, which is a burger with some jalapeno slices and jalapeno sauce. Overall, I found this burger to be tasty and overall above average/solid.

I also was able to try the mighty melt, which in my opinion is probably the best thing on the menu. The buns have cheddar cheese cooked into them and beer battered onion rings stacked high make this one look really impressive when it comes out. The mix of the different ingredients made this a very tasty burger and really unlike any other burger I've had recently.

The fries were your typical fries, seasoned with Lawry's. The only downsides to this place are the somewhat higher prices you'd expect from a food truck concept and the somewhat slow cook time (it was an obviously longer wait for our burgers here when compared to other burger joints). Definitely check this place out if you are in the neighborhood.

Went here for my friend's birthday, and I was so happy to have tried this place. The burger not only looked incredible but also tasted amazing. The onion ring was crunchy and full of flavor and so was the rest of the burger. I'm hungry again just writing this. It was definitely worth the wait, as he really put so much effort into the burger. Will definitely come back to try the milkshakes also

Yum! Burger Monster is located at the far left of the food court when you walk in. I'm glad they have a brick and mortar location now since the AC is fantastic inside. - Siren: my absolute favorite. Has a deep umami flavor from Hoisin sauce and just a delight of taste and texture. - Mighty Melt: a bit difficult to eat due to height, but tasty! - Minion Fries: yum - decadent and flavorful!

They do NOT skimp on portions. - Reaper Fries: not spicy at all, more tangy hot sauce flavored! Great as a side to something heavier. Not pictured: - Lemonade: tasty and not too thick-sweet. You know when something's so sweet that it's syrupy? This is more tart and light. - Chocolate milkshake with Oreo bits: I'm lactose intolerant but couldn't resist this milkshake. It's delicious with bits of softened Oreo in every sip.

I've had Burger Monster before at a food fest and it was SO GOOD. I'm super excited that they are now here at the BP Mall. With that being said, I stopped by just to check the place out and get a milkshake. I got the chocolate milk shake and it's HEAVENLY! I can't wait to come and grub on some burgers and fries. It's definitely a cool place to come check out. The inside has plenty of seating and AC for this summer heat.

Solid burger joint in the Buena Park Mall new food hall. Arrived on a weekday and it was just I believe the owner by himself? So be patient when waiting to order! Loved the creativity in the menu. Decided on the Siren and herbivore fries. I really wanted the attack of killer potato but he said they no longer do that one :' The Siren- fried chicken sando with hoisin maple glaze and a super yummy sesame slaw.

It was absolutely delicious however it's on the salty side. But my partner wants to get it again and I would too! Herbivore Fries- I love seasoned fries. This had a lemon garlic cheese pepper dust. And 2 sides of their chunky herby aioli. Even though I didn't originally get what I wanted, these fries were addicting. I definitely will be back to try other options!

I was so excited to try it, the menu talks a big game. The ingredients sound amazing and the burgers are a work of art. That first bite shatters the illusion. No flavor! I could've eaten at Carl's Jr and not known the difference.

Oh my goodness, that was one fantastic burger. And those fries! This was my first visit to this place. I didn't hold much hope for a burger place basically in a food court at a mall. but it was wonderful. We got our food to go, took it home and it was still hot. and expertly prepared. I had the Lycan burger and the Minion Fries, with no modifications. One of the best burgers I have ever had. And the fries were equally deeee-licious. If I am ever on death row and they ask me what I want for my last meal, this will be it.

I just had Burger Monster food at the new Granger 28 in the Buena Park Mall it is delicious! The reaper fries are epic and I really like the attack of the killer potatoes. The Dracula is also very good. The Siren chicken sandwich was different than I expected expected. It is more sweet than savory.

I work here. The crew is friendly, diverse, knowlagable about a lot of topics, and our burgers 1/3 lbs cooked. Everything is prepped same day, and pricing is fair. These are also amoung the best budgers i have ever had the delight of eating
