Craig Kohut's lifelong culinary passion began at an early age in his native Southern California where he has worked in some of the best restaurants in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Craig opened his first restaurant in Long Beach, California, where he was Chef/Owner and lent his keen eye and creative artistry to the upscale Creole cuisine.
For the past decade, Craig has cultivated his talent and expertise working alongside some of the best chefs in Los Angeles, as well as catering and working as a personal chef for clientele that runs the gamut. Craig has traveled Europe where he dined and studied the rich culinary traditions and techniques of Italy, France and Spain. Craig has applied the tremendous skills he has learned from his peers, experience, and travels.
From Italian and Mediterranean meals for intimate dinner parties to French and California fusion buffets for large corporate and wedding receptions, Craig's talents and skills are diverse -- and food presentation -- exquisite.
Imagine that you are planning your wedding and the amount of details is overwhelming. Suddenly three magical uncles appear and say, "relax, we're going to handle everything and it's going to be wedding of your dreams." That's Thom, Greg, and Craig at Bravo and they are simply wonderful. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
All our church friends can not stop talking about how they transformed the gymnasium-like parish hall into something beautiful. We didn't know it was possible. My wedding had a medieval tone, so they found an enormous, beautiful painted backdrop of a medieval cathedral interior and covered a wall with it. They banished the harsh overhead lights and used ambient light on the walls to create this glowing amber light accented with high candelabras on all the tables. It was magic.
They also hung lights on all the trees in the church courtyard, which made it a beautiful environment for the champagne toast. Bravo made everything more beautiful than we imagined it could be.
Craig is a first rate chef. I've gone to expensive restaurants and not had food this delicious. We keep getting compliments on the food from our friends.
We also appreciated the timeline, revised and updated daily, to cover every aspect of the planning and execution of our wedding day.
They also had ready answers for all our questions about wedding etiquette. This was an enormous help.
I also want you to know that they came in under-budget.
