Brancato's Catering

I am a Wedding Officiant and get to taste a lot of food at Weddings. I can tell you that anytime I hear that Brancato's is the Caterer I am definitely not leaving without tasting some of the deliciousness! But they are so much more than just unbelievably tasty food providers, but excellence in customer service. I highly recommend them.

I wish I could give Brancato's 100 stars! Whoever is looking for a caterer, stop looking this second and call them! They are the definition of perfection. I was planning a luncheon for my daughters upcoming wedding and had hired a new, local business and wanted to help them thrive. Less than 2 weeks before the event they emailed cancelling my event, and I'm so glad they did.

I was in a panic and the first name that popped in my head was Brancato's. I knew they were a long established KC caterer. I sent them and email and went to bed and woke up worrying about it. First thing in the morning i got a call from Katie, who assured me everything would be just fine. By noon she had helped me with all the selections, had it all emailed over to me, and it was done.

She also touched base with me a few times more, letting me know who would be serving at the event and other information to make sure I was informed and at ease. It was so nice to feel confident and have one less thing to think about. The food is a big thing to not worry about. The day of the event I was surprised how early the Brancato's van pulled up.

The event was held in a large house overlooking KC and several guests had stayed there the entire weekend. Domonique and Nancy were so stealthy, coming and going so quietly while they set up, but never in the way, never disturbing anyone. Total professionals. The presentation was flawless. They picked up cups and plates left laying around (which I didn't anticipate them helping with), were lighting fast on restocking the dishes with food, helping guests.

They were always smiling and pleasant. Katie even stopped by as well and was amazing and helpful. It all ran like the most amazing well oiled machine. Then to top it all off, the food was fantastic. It was the best catered food ever! Everyone raved about it. Several people actually commented they were the best bacon wrapped dates they have ever had.

The mini Beef Wellington are one of the best things I've ever tasted. I want to order a giant platter of those just for myself! I'm seriously thinking of how I can have another event and have that food again. Brancato's not only got there early, they stayed late. They took the remaining food and arranged it nicely on dishes available in the house, still making it look polished.

Somehow they found on crock pot on the premises to put the spin dip in, and then let me know there were a few more leftovers if needed in the refrigerator in the garage. Then poof, they were gone, quietly and smiling just like they arrived. I did not have to do one thing but pay attention to my guests. To say I'm impressed is an understatement.

I got so much more service and such quality of food then I could have imagined. Also, the cost was not any more than the other place I had originally booked. I owe a huge thanks to Katie who was so fantastic, as well as Domonique and Nancy. I've dealt with so many companies both here and at the destination wedding site, and they put Brancato's at the top of the list!

The food was absolutely to die for. Brancatos has many menu options and made it very easy to pick our favorites. They offered a tasting which was very fun to really get to see what the food would look and taste like. The staff was very efficient and made it so easy for me as the bride.

Just did a tasting for my wedding and the food was amazing. So flavorful, especially the potato chip crusted Salmon. My wedding will be in July but so far I'm very impressed. They were super safe and very kind. The Vegan option was amazing. The chicken Roulade had so much flavor. And that steak was so good we ate the entire plate. Well worth checking out if you are getting married in the Kansas City area.

We were really pleased with Brancato's catering our wedding reception. I thought their menus/packages were really strong. They worked with us on timing, allowing us to pick up tablecloths so that we could get tables decorated in our timeline rather than waiting on their staff. We enjoyed the food, and their staff was very good. All of our other vendors told us that they've worked with Brancato's many times previously, and that they're the wonderful. And we would agree.

I finally have been able to sit down and write this review. My husband and I used Brancato's for our wedding in June of 2021. They are the absolute BEST caters! We originally met and signed with Brancato's before the pandemic and had to postpone from 2020 to 2021. Haley worked with us from the very beginning. She was amazing. She was always there to answer my questions and help me out.

And I had a bunch of questions as we worked with postponing and trying to replan. They offered tastings to help us narrow down our menu. Haley at Brancato's was a breath of fresh air and help ease my mind with everything. The day of the wedding they were on time, they took care of everything from set up to tare down. And our guests LOVED the food. Genuinely impressed. If you're looking for the best cater in Kansas City, look no further because it is Brancato's!

"This is the best food we've ever had at a wedding." We heard this many times over from guests at our daughter's wedding. We absolutely recommend Brancato's. They were amazing to work with. Willing to work within our budget. Creative menus. Taste testing was very fun experience. Service the day of the wedding was great. And the food was incredible.

I am so grateful we chose this amazing company to cater our dinner & cocktail hour for our wedding day. Brian was amazing throughout the entire planning process. He made the entire process effortless from start o finish. He was quick to answer any questions, organized, helpful, and overall, just a great guy. The staff that worked our wedding was amazing as well.

They were polite, friendly, and professional! We were complimented more times than I can count on how wonderful our food was and how impressed they were with the service they received! I cannot recommend this amazing company anymore!

My wife and I had our wedding at the end of May 2021 and we were very fortunate to have Brancato's cater our reception. There is a reason why Brancato's is one of the most sought-after wedding caterers in the KC area and it is because they are the best at what they do. A lot of couples say that they do not get a chance to eat at their wedding, and I know I have been to many weddings with food that was sub-par. Brancato's exceeded all my expectations.

Our entrees included burnt ends and chicken pot pie so I was determined to eat on my wedding day! The food was outstanding and the service from the professionals who joined us was incredible. The manager introduced himself to us before dinner started and several times during dinner members of the staff approached us to make sure we had everything we needed.

We did not have desserts in our package but we did have hors d'oeuvres before dinner. Everything we tasted was wonderful and many of our guests complimented our choice of food because they felt the same way. I would highly recommend Brancato's to anyone who wants a simply perfect catering experience.

Emily and all of the Brancato's team were a dream to work with! They had great communication and were extremely organized especially during these stressful times with COVID-19. They made sure to update us with changes/new restrictions in place. We ended up going with the bacon wrapped shrimp and meatballs for appetizers and beef tenderloin and boursin stuffed chicken for our plated meal. My employer, being a gracious man catered our lunch today from Brancato's. To say the least, it was not worth the money he spent what so ever. I was amazed that my taco salad had plenty of lettuce, but only a small 2" diameter by 1" deep container of tortilla strips. They should rename the meal ground hamburger salad with peppers. I believe that would be more fitting in my observation.

There were other complaints as well from a few employees. One person ordered chicken alfredo, but to his amazement there was only a couple strips of chicken; Interesting to say the least. I think they should rethink how they prepare there food, and maybe base it more on quality. I noticed that most people gave them a 4 or 5 star rating, but from what i have gathered on my own experience they are not worthy of that rating what so ever.

We have used them several years for our work catering. We have done Italian and it is amazing! It's always a hit and the service is wonderful! If you need catering, I highly recommend!

Brancatos is a must for your wedding! From start to finish they were extremely professional and easy to work with. This is by far the easiest vendor to work with. They cater to your every need. On the day of the wedding it went so smoothly, they went above and beyond from the food to the service and the way they set up their beautiful buffet. I've received so many compliments on the food from this wedding. Highly recommend if you want an amazing team to work with.

I am so glad I went with Brancatos catering for my wedding cocktail hour and dinner. Laura and the team went above and beyond to make sure my vision was executed. My husband and I both wanted to create a fusion of modern and vintage, romantic, casual, & comfortable environment for our guests. Brancato's brought this vision to life through our taco buffet, appetizer bar, and his and hers ice cream dessert station.

I wanted everything to look classy, and to really blend with the decor rather than looking like it came straight out of the kitchen. Laura made sure this became a reality, setting up the most beautiful buffet on barn wood tables, with a stunning copper pipe display hanging over the dinner buffet. It went perfectly with our wedding and was so tasteful.

In addition, Laura and the Brancatos team set up our tables, place setting, lit candles, and really put in the extra effort to make sure EVERYTHING on our wedding day was picture perfect. Best of all, the food was absolutely delicious, our guest couldn't stop raving about it. If you are considering Brancatos for your wedding day, do it - you won't be disappointed!

We had them cater our wedding and everyone LOVED IT! The Boursin Chicken and burnt ends were the perfect meats to pair with the garlic mashed and veggies. Sam was very helpful with all my crazy bride questions and was quick to respond. The waiters and bar staff were extremely nice and helpful too. Brancato's did an amazing job (as always) putting their special touches on their awesome food!

Brancato's Catering was a caterer at our wedding this September. It was a great experience overall, everything was professionally done. They were very easy to communicate with during the planning process, all food was delicious and the process of setting up/tearing down was flawless and on time, the personnel was very attentive, friendly and helpful throughout the wedding. Not to brag, but Brancato's provided the absolute best wedding food that I've ever had for our reception. We went with a KC bbq theme (burnt ends, oven-roasted chicken, cheesy corn bake, mac & cheese and salad) and every item was mouthwatering. I am gluten intolerant and we had a few celiac and dairy/ lactose intolerant guests, but Brancato's was more than willing to make adjustments to accommodate us which we felt was important! Laura Ann was a delight to work with and did a great job keeping us on time.

We have received endless comments about how fantastic the food was, and despite the fact that Brancato's is a catering company, I felt like we got to treat our out-of-town guests to "authentic" Kansas City barbecue. Brancato's/ Laura Ann: THANK YOU for adding to the perfection of our wedding day!

Couldn't be more impressed! Sean I. over at Brancatos has been instrumental in making many of the events I host a success. His ability to always come up with a creative menu for my diverse clients never fails to impress. Can't wait to use them again in the future!

We had Brancato's do our wedding of 300 last weekend (December 2017) and they absolutely rocked it. The on site staff was so communicative throughout the night, and we heard absolute rave reviews from all our guests about how delicious the food was. We served BBQ pulled pork, brisket, cheesey corn, and mashed potatoes and it was all well made and to die for. They were also the most affordable option we could find and well worth every penny.

We had our wedding on 7/1/17 and the food was simply amazing. We worked with Laura and she made sure we had exactly what we wanted. She even adjusted some items on the menu for taste. Everyone has been talking about the mashed potato bar that we had during our cocktail hour. The food for the reception turned out wonderful and delicious. All of our guests talked about how our food not only looked but also tasted wonderful too. Be sure to go to a tasting night to try all of the food and meet with your coordinator. Has to be one of the best catering companies in Kansas City.

We've used Brancato's for several events and they are always perfect: the staff are friendly and efficient, the food is tasty with plenty of leftovers and the cost is reasonable. Laura was great at creating a menu for us that was elegant, trendy and delectable. I recommend them for any event you can think of.

Brancato's was very professional throughout the whole process of booking, tasting, planning and at our event. They were easy to get ahold of with any questions or concerns too. Their food was delicious and we got so many compliments on it at our wedding! The day of our event, everything was prepared and set up perfectly! Their pricing is very simple to figure out and it was very reasonable. We would happily use Brancato's again and recommend them to anyone!

We have used Brancato's for multiple work functions and all reviews received back from our associates is top notch. I don't have to worry about the small things such as, is there enough food for everyone, will it arrive on time and hot. Great menu options, the food and service is excellent! I know we will continue using Brancato's in the future.

The only fault, I can see if any is the multple people I have worked with but then again, turnover is inevitable regardless of the company and type of business. Each person that I have worked with has been professional, courtesy and very much willing to help negotiate pricing and work with delivering to the two locations we have.

Review only for a First Friday gallery event that Brancato was catering for. The presentation was so aesthetically pleasing. A long tall table draped (such a good idea when children will be at the event, keeps the food little hands free and far more comfortable than leaning over the food) with black table cloth in the middle of the room under a stunning chandelier. Tiered platters featuring chilled grilled vegetables, cheeses, fruit, lump crab cakes, and brushetta (their was more just can't remember). Self service with clear plates and black napkins. It was a well thought out spread and everything looked clean and fresh. By far the most colorful space in the gallery.

So many people told me that I'd be so frazzled during my wedding day that I'd forget to eat & wouldn't even sit down long enough to enjoy the food at the reception. Brancato's food was SO delicious that I made sure I was able to enjoy it, no matter how hectic the night was : My husband and I love good food that's wholesome, healthy & of quality.

We knew that's exactly what we were getting when we scheduled the tasting. They even made custom flavored cupcakes because we expressed that we'd rather do that than a large cake. There's so much variety that I can't imagine someone it wouldn't appeal to. The food is prepared so deliciously and the presentation is impeccable.

Our reception venue as Cellar 222, and Brancato's was very familiar with their closing policy etc. and helped with that process. The staff was so attentive and made sure that everyone had what they needed without anyone ever asking for a thing. The experience couldn't have been better and we can't thank them enough for a wonderful evening truly filled with great service & food!

Brancato's catered a wedding I attended this weekend. The food was yummy! There were two vegetarian pasta options, penne Alfredo and a bow-tie with garlic, olive oil and sun dried tomatoes. Both were tasty and warm. I understand that chicken Parmesan was a big hit, too, but I can't vouch for that. There was also mixed salad, and bread. All tasty.

Brancato catered my wedding recently, and I thought they did a great job. I don't know how many compliments we got on the food. Guests who said they never enjoyed wedding food went and got seconds, and everything I ate I liked. The package we chose allowed for two main courses for a very reasonable price. We choose the stuffed chicken in a cream sauce and the beef brisket.

Our best man said, "I could have guzzled a glass of the cream sauce, " which actually sounds pretty gross, but I can appreciate. And the barbeque was great, too! Also, the head caterer (whose name I don't recall b/c my parents were nice enough to meet with him) made sure that we as bride and groom had plates of food waiting for us. They had this priority straight, although the DJ did complain that staff was not served any food. Anyway, all in all I highly recommend. If you want an affordable package that is still better than normal wedding food, go with Brancato.
