I didn't care for the spices on the fish at all and wish they would have offered me something else when I told them. Otherwise the food was good, well cooked abd it came out quickly. The pace was clean, well lit and cheerful. I got my desert to ho and it took over 20 minutes to come out, sadly. But I will definitely them another try.

Great atmosphere! While you're waiting for your food or after you finish eating, it's fun to walk around and look at everything they have on the walls We were there with another couple. Two of us had salads first and chose the Prickly Pear Vinaigrette which was outstanding! Our friend asked if it was made there and they said yes, so he bought a quart of it.

They both ordered the Chopped Steak with brown gravy which they enjoyed. My hubby and I both ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and it was delicious We also ordered the Pie of the Month which was Banana Cream and it was very good. The only thing that would have made it better, was if it had a meringue frosting instead of cream frosting. Overall we had a delightful experience all the staff was very welcoming, friendly and courteous. Kudos to all!

Bonn Fire did an exceptional job serving our motorcycle club of approx 30 people for lunch. They put us in a private room, linen and cute motoecycle table center pieces showed how they went out of their way. Service and food were exceptional. The hamburgers were one of the best! Thank you Bonn Fire for doing such a great job for our motorcycle club!

First time patron. Glad it came to mind as I was headed towards another steakhouse. Menu is large and quite varied. One page is marked RT and it's full of the many items on other pages and is a senior menu or for someone wanting smaller portions. My excellent waiter, Mike, suggested the flat iron steak after asking what it was and found it to be very tender and no fat or grizzle.

One of the best steaks I've ever had. Get 2 side dishes and they special one for today was zucchini. Cooked in a flavorful sauce and I really enjoyed. Oh, almost forgot the best dish -French onion soup which I ordered before my steak. Came out pretty fast and glad I asked for it first as they were very busy. Took two peanut butter slices of pie and my macaroni which I didn't eat cause I was plenty full and satisfied. Great spot on outskirts of Chino Valley which is definitely worth a try and I'm going back for sure. Thanks for listening and enjoy your lunch or dinner.

Had a surprise birthday party with full menu, open bar and live entertainment for my husband. I was the one surprised! From the BEAUTIFUL table arrangements, chair covers and centerpieces, wonderful staff - everything was perfect! And special shout out to the manager, Linda, for going above and beyond to make the event very special and making everyone feel at home.

Mystery meat prime rib on Friday night. Must have been fresh when cooked up Monday. Runs showed up as expected. Chef out chatting with friends looked grimy.

We heard great things about this place so we had to try it before leaving town. Nice huge parking lot. Bailey was our server and was super - friendly, funny, and helpful. The portions were generous and the food was really tasty. They make everything from scratch down to their prickly pear vinaigrette dressing. Their rolls were really, really good.

We had jalapeno poppers, prime rib and chicken pot pie. Couldn't manage dessert there but we took home the 24 Karat Cake and Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie. They have different pies and gluten free dessert each month. Love this! Wish we could try all the months, but it'll have to wait until our next visit. Highly recommend!

We have been going there for years. The food lately has been poor quality and seems to be getting worse however their steaks do seem to be very good still. If you complain about the food your asked not to come back. My son was treated very bad he has multiple sclerosis rarely does he feel like going out he was excited about dining out and he was treated horribly.

This was about a week ago. He said the noodles were burnt he was told well there is always Taco Bell. A heavy-set woman with short hair is extremely hateful she said she's the owner with Randall Bonneville. The owner said she doesn't care if anyone eats there or not as for my family and me we will go somewhere where we are wanted as customers. The pot pie in the picture was shoved into a small black box broken smashed dry it was awful

Chicken and wild rice soup was surprisingly delicious! I mean absolutely awesome! Especially on a cold and rainy day. Chicken Pot Pie was thick, rich and delicious as well with terrific flaky crust. Cheeseburger was thick, fresh ground sirloin with fresh veggies to dress it with. The seasoned fries were crunchy and very good. Service at the bar was ok, but our bartender did get better. Maybe because her local bar friends were there chatting.

Great prime rib, that's the only thing I get baked potato and vegetables best for dinner after 4:00pm in Chino Valley.

Three words. Chicken Pot Pie. Made from scratch. Absolutely the best thing I've had in a long time. Flaky and buttery crust. Thick gravy with tasty veggies and chicken. The downside? Etiquette dictated that I could not lick the bowl.

I ordered the onion soup. Broth was like water with no flavor. Didn't even finish it. Very disappointing. I also had the prime rib. Meat was a bit grizzly, not seeming prime at all. It also tasted like cinnamon. I have no idea why there would be cinnamon on it, but it completely ruined the meat. Not even close to being worth the price. We got a few rolls in a basket.

The first 2 were ok, nothing special. But the third was stale to the point of being slightly crunchy on the outside. Beware, the butter for rolls is cinnamon, which I don't like. I expected normal butter. Maybe that's what they put on the meat. I wish they would have asked first. The only part of the meal that was good were the baked potato and vegetable. I had eaten here before for lunch and it was good. But based on this dinner I would not return and cannot recommend.

Bit pricey for mediocre food. Prime rib was average along with sides. Service was on slow side. We ate in dining area but the bar tables looked to be the place to be - much more light and excitement. If we go back we will ask to be sat there. Everybody was raving about homemade pies but we did not partake.

Wonderful service, Mac n Cheese was delicious. dinner salads are fresh n crisp. Ribeye was a little tough but tasty. Husband had the chicken Alfredo. Chicken was super tender & delicious. Did NOT like odor coming from bathroom. Made our enjoyable meal unpleasant. Don't Sit near bathrooms. We reported to staff who explained owner aware. We went back 2 weeks later, bathrooms had additional odor control. we sat in different location. Give them a 5 star rating! Chicken Wild Rice is delicious and worth taking extra home.

Good food. Slow ordering. Restaurant looks dated and very dark. All brown and not very inviting.

So they get a ZERO for service. Can't rate the food quality as we never got to that point. Waited 10 minutes never saw a soul. Bar top was covered with previous patrons messes. Far too many places deserve our cash so we left

I've only been here twice [pre Covid] and both experiences were bad. First time food was served cold, that should have been hot; and the Rubin sandwich was so soggy and cold it couldn't be eaten. Second time I waited for 20 minutes to be seated on an off night when there were only three other guests. The servers kept walking by, looking at us, and never sat us or asked if we needed anything. Ended up leaving without eating and have never been back.

It has been a long time since we've gone in here. pre-COVID. But they seem to have stepped up their game. Service was stellar. Thanks, Kristin! Outstanding dirty martinis. He had the Father's Day special Captain's Platter, and loved every bite of shrimp, cod, and lobster tail with baked potatoe and cabbage, preceeded by a Ceasar salad. which they do RIGHT. I had the Rueben. Park Plaza does the Rueben bigger and better, but the one at Bonn-Fire was very good. Flavorful. We will go back. Soon.

Hey I really really want to give the Bonn Fire a better rating. The wait staff is so nice, quick and professional but again and again nothing but mediocre food. Yesterday I had my first caesarette salad as a side to the parmesan encrusted cod. It was about as bland and uninteresting as anything I've ever been served. None of the lemon tanginess, no garlic flavor, no anchovy saltiness and really just no flavor at all. It's only resemblance to a Caesar was the romaine which was crisp enough.

The croutons I pushed aside best I could. Then the cod came. One bite and I knew I'd have to force my fork into my mouth with another. Maybe it was me not being particularly hungry. (But doubt it.) It wasn't terrible. But it also wasn't good. We decided that the next time we wanted to ditch the better part of a fifty we'd just put the cash into the shredder. Not going back. This is my final Bonn Fire review.

We were there in March. The food was great and the service was awesome. Their special pie for the month was peanut butter, and was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Dined here around the end of April. An average experience. Staff walked by us for several minutes before any indication that they were going to seat us. Waiter was going through the motion but the busboy, Justice, was attentive. Food was ok but nothing stood out. Having said all this I found the prices marginally above the service and food provided. This has been been a consistent experience over the last 4 years here. Like I said above.average. Wouldn't good be better. Wouldn't great be a goal Chino Valley deserves.

Killer drinks, killer food, sweet people and it feels very safe in regards to the Pandemic. All the food is original and prepared fresh daily. We're from California and we wish you had one by us.

First time here for me. The other 3 guys live here in Chino. I had the ground sirloin BR with means smaller portion and 1 side. Salad was kind of small but great dressing. Burger was great and very tasty. Plate looked a little empty. Friends had turkey and a brisket sandwich's and they were enjoyed. Waitress was a lot of fun also!

What a fantastic place. We tried Bonn-Fire on the spur of the moment Friday evening. Upon entering we were promptly greeted and seated in a cozy booth. Our server Destiny showed up a moment later with menus. She took our drink orders and answered all of our questions. Then she gave us just the right amount of time to ponder our choices. The menu is chock full of yummy offerings. There is something for every appetite. All of the items we ordered were fantastic. We had a a great time and are looking forward to a return visit.

Bonn-Fire (to my knowledge) is the only restaurant in Chino Valley that offers a wide spectrum of food types as opposed to restaurants that only offer one i.e. Mexican, Italian, bbq, etc. It is a table service restaurant that has a large parking lot. My visit last week for dinner took advantage of their special that night which was fried chicken. It was a half chicken with 2 sides for $13 and I chose a salad and mashed potatoes with gravy.

Of course, the salad came out first with the chicken arriving 15-20 minutes later. The meal was good and satisfying with the chicken being hot and juicy and the pieces being averaged size. Table service was good. Bonn-Fire is a restaurant where you can get a reliably good meal no matter what you order. It's menu is varied so you have options with whatever you desire to eat. Open for lunch and dinner.
