Delicious brisket, potato salad and coleslaw! And the girls working there are so super friendly. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in town!

Great BBQ joint. Nothing fancy. Doesn't need to be. People were super friendly and the food was good. The meats were done right and the sides were simple (potato salad, Cole slaw and beans). Everything was fresh, delicious and portions were a good size. Onions, pickles, jalapenos and bread were available also. Good sauce too. Just add a cold beer from the cooler and lunch is served!

Great friendly customer service and food was worth the drive I would highly recommend this BBQ sandwich tender and juicy, the side were good portions of potato salad, beans and trimmings. This was a monster sandwich

I'm from Missouri and we have KC-style BBQ, so I'm not really experienced with Texas BBQ. That said, Bill's Bar-B-Que was hands down the best I've ever had, anywhere. I can practically taste it a week later. The chopped brisket literally melts in your mouth, dripping with flavorful juice. Mr. Bill, you've made a convert of me.

We tried brisket, turkey and chicken, everything was great. The sides were delicious. Obviously service was amazing. One of the best BBQ place we have been to.

We picked up for 14 people this weekend with us getting brisket, ribs and sausage. Sides were Cole slaw, potato salad and beans. Everything was excellent. No complaints with anyone. Only thing is I wish they would have another side like green beans but other than that everything was delicious!

I had the brisket, pulled pork and turkey and it was some of the best I've ever had. My wife and I couldn't decide what we liked the most. The potato salad was pretty good but I can't recommend the beans, they had a different kind of taste. But definitely five stars for the meat. We will definitely go back.

Excellent local BBQ joint in Kerrville. The ribs fall off the bone. Really good & lean brisket. They smoke all their neats, chicken & sausage links nightly on the premises. I also like their jalapeno sausage link. Tasty for sure. You must get a side of potato salad. It is delicious! Everything is homemade daily. I have to say, this was my top pick for BBQ in Kerrville, UNTIL HEB (Main St. location in Kerrville) True Texas BBQ Restaurant opened up a few months ago. It really comes down to connivence tho, as far as which one is closer to you at the time you want to eat some awesome tasting BBQ. I give BOTH restaurants 5 Stars.

Bill's BBQ catered a wedding last weekend and it was amazing. Joe worked with us beginning months ago to plan the menu and coordinate everything. It was PERFECT! Thank you Joe for helping to make the wedding a perfect success!

I've eaten a LOT of BBQ in my lifetime. (57 years).and this place ranks in my top 3! Every single thing was perfect.the brisket, the ribs, the sides, the BBQ sauce, the sweet tea, the service, the prices, the atmosphere, etc. Definitely a new favorite!

Mouth water and finger liking BBQ. Brisket has a good bark and excellent flavor. Pulled pork was moist, tender, succulent and full of flavor. Service was excellent. Top notch. Worth your time and worth the visit. Glad was came back.

Anywhere I go I'll use the Texas Monthly BBQ app, but it wasn't in that app. Fortunately, I used Yelp and found this place. Out of all the BBQ places I've eaten, San Antonio, Austin, Victoria, Houston, etc., this would be in the top FIVE! Watching them chop/cut the meats had my mouth watering. Brisket and Ribs were on point with moisture, texture, and with a hearty Bold Flavor. Continued to taste the BBQ even when I wasn't eating. Mixing the beans with the brisket was amazing. You won't regret going here for BBQ. I'll be returning!

We ask around when traveling for hidden gems. Well Bill's Bar-Be-Que fit the bill! Brisket sandwich was loaded with perfectly cooked brisket. The small sandwich I could not finish. Hubs got the large. It was a challenge. The Cole slaw and potato salad were excellent as well. One place not to miss if you are in the Kerrville area. Worth. The. Trip.

My first taste of Texas BBQ, and it did not disappoint! Bill was serving us, had recommended brisket and ribs as their most popular items. The brisket and ribs were moist, the flavor was spot on. Very tender on both of them. Everyone was very friendly and we had a great time.

Great food. Wandered thru on a motorcycle trip. Super friendly and great brisket. Awesome watching them pull the briskets out of the foil and seeing the jiggle. Could sit there all day!

What a great place! This is Texas BBQ as it should be. Small quaint roadside BBQ joint with piles of wood and smokers right upfront and in plain sight with outdoor seating. Meat meat and more meat smoked to perfection and sliced right in front of you as you order. Add in homemade pie and Styrofoam cups. Bills IS Texas BBQ! Update: Back in TX and had to stop by Bills. did not disappoint! Love this place. The people here are always super nice, warm, welcoming and the food is off. the. charts. good! Will be back in March/April.

You don't get any more Texas BBQ than this place! If your in the area passing they definitely worth the stop. We do every trip. The smell hits ya as soon as ya get out the car. Seriously good bbq and the true Texas BBQ atmosphere. Brisket is moist and smoky. Drinks in Styrofoam. Heavenly.

Meat slicer, a young man, was not wearing a mask. All other personnel were. We should have walked out. Brisket was ok but the ribs were greasy having been in the Warner too long. Not worth the risk.

Great brisket, awesome sausage, good beans. The food is take out only, but it is worth the food though. The brisket can be cut lean or fatty. I tried both, and was not disappointed, so good. Sausage is cooked perfectly, with just the right amount juice. I would definitely recommend eating here, or for now, getting an order to go.

I am extremely happy to write this. I have never had this quality of BBQ in a restaurant. Absolutely amazing and worth every penny, and then some! Service is friendly and they worked with our 3 year old who came out only loving vegetables. She LOVED the ribs! My husband is a semi professional brisket man and he was excited by the flavor and texture of the ribs and sausage.

After having the Big Sandwich plate with chopped beef, I can't find words to say how truly excellent it was. Melt in your mouth is a real thing at Bill's! We are definitely coming back and will recommend to anyone who will listen! We even went in for desserts and they were just as good. Have a meal and enjoy. It's the right place in this area!

Bill's is our new favorite place for BBQ! It is definitely in the "dives" category but that is not important.the food is the star! We both ordered brisket sandwiches. The meat was tender, cooked perfectly and had very little fat which is important to me since I really dislike fat! GET had beans and potato salad sides which he reported were delicious. Very very casual.

Was on the scout for some Hill country bbq. Came across this place just as the signal returned and Yelp became available. Technically I had already eaten lunch, so I shared a quarter pound of brisket and one rib. Both were "fall off the bone" in terms of tenderness but on the dry side and crumbly. A little overdone? Had to use sauce. Speaking of the sauce, it has a robust flavor, heavy on the vinegar side.

I liked it okay. You help yourself to the fixins near the register and bread is on the table. If you come on Friday, they offer cabrito. Dining room is fun with dear heads lining the walls. Average cue.

Not sure when I am going to be back in Kerrville, but if/when I return, Bill's will def be on the meal list. First off, the setting is AWESOME. Old school cafeteria style where you grab a try and load stuff on as you walk around the counter. Meat is sliced, salad scooped, and drinks poured as you go. There are picnic tables, bread on the counters, and a few TVs. Second, the meat, the meat, and the meat. So, so, so very good.

I got the combo plate and, if I was not going to be in a car for hours after, really could have taken half of it back for dinner. So, yes, I HAD to eat it all in one sitting. Tough life I Iead. Finally, you know a place is good if you find yourself hungry and drooling while writing a review just from the faint memory of the experience - at least that's what I have been told :-

Had brisket and ribs plate. The foot was tasty but not amazing. The ribs were a little too chewy and likely sat too long.

I have been three times when passing through Kerrville and have never been let down. Both sausages they offer are great. The turkey is amazing. The goat (when it's served) is out of this world. The brisket is fantastic. I do not have a single complaint about this place, try it if you're near!
