Big City is an amazing catering vendor to choose when looking across the many options. From beginning, to tasting to the day of the wedding - they were amazing. Their entire staff was attentive, professional and so pleasant to deal with across the board. We got so many compliments on how amazing the food and appetizers were. Madeline was always on top of everything and answered my many questions and last minute champagne request! I highly recommend Big City!

Big City Catering just catered our daughter's rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. The food was amazing. They were able to accommodate all our guests dietary restrictions gladly. The entire staff was helpful and pleasant. The bartenders, servers and managers did an excellent job. Hats off the the Chef and his team of kitchen staff. The food was delicious. Both events were just perfect. Thank you so much!

Big City Catering catered my wedding at Luxmore Grande Estate. Their ability of communicating really meant a lot as they were extremely accommodating to our ever-changing needs. The food was absolutely incredible! We had: salmon crostini, spinach and artichoke cups, steak medallions, a chicken dish, potatoes (my favorite), green beans, salad, and rolls. They flawlessly catered to 150 people. I highly recommend using this catering company!

Big City catered our wedding at Luxmore on 1/22/22 and we had the best experience with them! From the initial conversations, food tasting experience, and wedding day, they exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and we received endless compliments about great the dinner was! The waitstaff was also incredibly professional and friendly on our wedding day. I also had Big City cater breakfast and lunch to the bridal suite and they were wonderful letting me pick exactly what I wanted! I highly recommend!

4.5 Review The food and presentation were excellent. We hired Big City Catering for our wedding and our guests gave us positive feedback, they enjoyed the food and I loved that everything was freshly made, nothing was soggy or tasted reheated. The only thing I wish could've been different is the clothing one of the servers wore. We had a formal wedding at an upscale venue, and the captain of the catering team was wearing JEANS =- it did lessen the overall feel for the company's professionalism.

Big City catered our wedding on 2/12/22 and everything was immaculate! The staff was professionally dressed, well mannered, and took care of everything we needed. The food was delicious! All of our guests commented for days on how great the food was. They have an amazing team and extremely talented chef. If you're looking for quality food, hire Big City!

WOW! I cannot begin to explain how absolutely Devine their food is! The Chefs are top notch and hit every single want and need. The team is extremely professional and make sure to ease every stressor you could have. We had very minimal left overs from our wedding and every single person we spoke to raved about how amazing the staff and food was. We will recommend this team to EVERYONE for any and all events!

Big City was more than just the caterer at our Wedding but family! They made our special day nothing short of perfect! Everyone kept coming up to us throughout the night to compliment the food! Narrowing down our menu was the hardest part because we wanted to have EVERYTHING! Huge thank you to the owner Tom, Chef Thomas, Chef Lou, Tracy, Madeline, Sarah, and the entire service staff for providing the most exceptional experience for our guests. My opinion of "wedding food" is completely changed after our experience with Big City Catering. The food on our wedding day tasted exactly like it did the day of our tasting - DELICIOUS! Not to mention, we went home with tons of leftovers that lasted us a week after our wedding. It was so fun to enjoy that food the entire next week, allowing us to relive our wedding night over and over.

We upgraded our entrees to the butternut squash ravioli and braised short rib - and I cannot recommend either dish enough. I crave that ravioli on a daily basis! I do not regret paying the extra money for a second. For our sides, we stuck with two of the standard options - the Yukon gold mashed potatoes and glazed carrots - both were equally as delicious!

We received so many compliments from our guests in the days after the wedding, which really put a smile on my face. I'm so glad my guests were able to enjoy the meal as much as we did!

I brought an international conference group to Gatorland where Big City Catering served our reception. They exceeded my expectations in both taste & service! Their soux chef served a Caribbean menu with recipes from his native country. My guests were thrilled with their entire experience. As a professional event planner from California, I wish I had access to Big City Caterers all the time.

Worked with them for a Grand Opening party of 350+ people and everything went off with ease. Notable mention - Bacon bar, crab cakes

I have nothing but great things to say about Big City Catering! We worked with Aubrey throughout the planning process and she is absolutely amazing! From our initial consultation, to the tasting, to the final planning and through the entire wedding day the entire staff was so great to work with! They truly treated us like family. One of the amazing things that Big City Catering does is grand tasting events, where they put on a mock event where you are able to try a handful of their food offerings.

They also offer private tastings if you are unable to attend one of the events. At the grand tastings, they invite other vendors so that you can shop around. As we got closer to the wedding, Aubrey helped us with our room layout and timeline which was a huge bonus. She was so responsive and personable, always helping us with the hundreds of questions that we had along the way.

Most importantly, the food. Hands down, the best food that I have ever had at a wedding. We received so many compliments from our friends and family, and since we had a buffet set-up, many of our Guests went back for seconds. You will not be disappointed working with Big City Catering!

They are all so sweet and professional! I highly recommend this amazing company! The food and service was on point. I'm so happy I was able to experience their expertise at my party.

We had to use Big City Catering for a wedding and were disappointed on so many levels. They promised so much and delivered very little. We were told multiple times that we would be sent home with the additional food. We had 23 people not show up for our event. The food that was sent home may have been for 5 people. When we asked about the food we were told that they were worried about food safety.

Food safety. for rolls? We were told that the wedding party would be served cocktails and food after the pictures which didn't happen. Actually there should have been enough food for over 23 people at this point, so not sure why the wedding party was not even served. We were told that they would have the children's meals out at the beginning of the event and it was 45 minutes into the event before the children's meals were brought out.

When a couple of the children didn't eat because they had already fallen asleep, we were told that they would box up the meal and it would be sent home, you guessed it, it wasn't sent home. We were told that they would serve the wedding cake that we had purchased from another vendor. They made a big deal about their "complimentary cake cutting service" that they were going to add in for us.

We had purchased the cake for 30 more people than attended so should have had a lot of cake left over. I had to go get someone to even cut the cake and after a while went back to the kitchen to find out where the cake was and it was cut sitting on a buffet table. They were supposed to serve the cake but just cut the cake and didn't even tell anyone it was ready. Also, we had 6 thin slices that were sent home and the cake was actually for 30 people over what we had attend so I guess the catering crew ate the cake or took it home with them.

The food was good however I would beware of any venue that only has one one catering company choice. Obviously, they ate really well off of the food and wedding cake that was promised to be sent home with the bride and the groom

I am using big city catering for my wedding at cypress grove. Not only did we have our tasting this evening for our wedding but we're blown away with the personality alone the chef and owner had. They really made us feel special. The food was amazing and we were able to try the options so we can get our menu Perfect for our day. The crab cakes and creme brulee is to die for. I am beyond excited for our wedding and to have this vendor there to make sure the food quality is nothing but spectacular makes us feel 100% at ease.

We used Big City to cater a party of 40 for our mom's 60th birthday party and are very glad we did! They went above and beyond our expectation when it came to the taste of the food, presentation, and professionalism. The party was months ago and we still have family members raving about the food. We would highly recommend using Big City!

We arrived at our rental house at 4pm and were hosting a special gathering for 20 at 7:30pm. We had arranged via email and phone with Big City to cater the dinner, Kansas City BBQ with some extras. From beginning to end everything went just as planned. Big City staff were professional, competent, and pleasant to deal with. As questions arose they were handled effectively and in a timely manner. The food arrived on time, was set up with all necessary serving dishes and utensils, AND it was delicious. Thank You Big City Very Satisfied Out of Towners

So glad we went with Big City! They did a terrific job from start to finish. The entire day went so smoothly Tracy and Brittany were excellent! The food was great, their vendors were awesome, and so easy to work with! We had a great time and owe Big City a HUGE thank you!

This was the caterer we used at my daughter's wedding after we had checked out others who either did not care to return calls or were unprofessional just answering the phone. I cannot say enough good things-we had the wedding at the Maitland Art Center where they are a preferred vendor. And I can see why. From beginning to end-communication, price quotes, tasting, promptness, unbelievable food and the most amazing service, it was perfect.

Hot food was hot, cold food cold. They truly made us feel that they realized how very special this event was, the service and food could not have been better if we had paid twice as much-my daughter and I were able to sit and enjoy the meal-linens on the table looked beautiful, the set up was exactly as planned and service was unintrusive but attentive.

The staff was so professional!. Just a wonderful stressfree experience-I have heard horror stories about other caterers, but I honestly cannot fault any part of this whole process.

Big City Catering provided catering and day-of coordination for my wedding at Paradise Cove in February 2010. Shannon was so helpful throughout the entire process and really made us feel like we were her #1 priority. She was available at any time to answer any questions we had. My husband and I especially liked that they gave us a personal tasting featuring the food we were considering for the menu, while many of the other companies we talked to only provided group tastings.

As far as cost goes, I would say they are in the mid-range. However, they are very accomodating to your budgetary needs. We let Shannon know at the beginning what we were able to spend and she made sure that we got the most for our money. Best of all, the food was AMAZING! Everyone after the wedding kept telling me that the food was the best part, definitely better than other weddings they had been too. I have to say that Big City Catering provides the right combination of great service and fantastic food. Isn't that exactly what you want from a caterer?
