Austin Catering

We hired Austin Catering for our 3/26/22 wedding and they were amazing! They were able to tweak menu items to make them GF and worked with us and our planner to customize dishes. We did family style for our 50 person wedding and everyone told us this was the best food they had at a wedding! They also provided our chasers, juices, and bartenders!

Hands down the best experience and food! KD is absolutely incredible to work with and created pure magic for our wedding. I was blown away by the tasting, ate every last bite on my plate at the wedding, and got rave reviews from family and friends who all said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. KD was honestly a rock through the planning process and made me feel assured the whole way through.

We did passed appetizers, a buffet, dessert bar, and late night snack. The 10pm french fries were welcomed life savers and so delicious! My other favorites included the smoked pork tenderloin with orange-serrano reduction, chipotle caesar salad, fried avocado, and ceviche shooters. I also am gluten free and the entire meal was 100% GF, which made people (especially my celiac flower girl) SOOOO HAPPY! I could go on all day. Go with Austin Catering. you won't regret it!

Ok Austin catering hasn't catered for our wedding yet, but this is based off of our experience at the tasting. Will update later after the wedding! The food is phenomenal. We literally couldn't get enough of the mushroom gnocchi I could literally eat it every day and not get tired of it. The steak was rather dry, but the salmon and chicken were delicious so we will likely go with those options. KD seems very knowledgeable and gave us a ton of different options to pick from.

The signature cocktails are more affordable than any caterer in town. And they give you or donate any unused food that was kept at a food safe temperature at the end of the event!

My husband and I had the best experience with Austin Catering! The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful and KD made everything so easy. Our wedding guests kept telling us how much they loved the food - especially the honey-glazed, house-smoked salmon! My husband and I had Austin Catering for our wedding on Easter Sunday and it was AMAZING! We had Giselle as our consultant and she was awesome at taking care of us. We had crab cakes, beef medallions and goat cheese stuffed chicken breast and we had so many compliments on food. They are definitely not the cheapest, but SO well worth every penny! We would definitely recommend Austin Catering for any event!

We hired Austin Catering for our wedding and cannot recommend them enough! The food was absolutely amazing, and my guests are still talking about it! We originally worked with Lisa Thompson and, after postponing our wedding due to COVID-19, worked with K.D. Tucker. Both were true joys to work with! Lisa helped arrange our original menu and tasting prior to booking, and she made this process SO easy, which was especially impressive because we could not be on-site (destination wedding) and we had a lot of different guest preferences and dietary restrictions to consider.

Instead of a generic menu with options to choose from, we told Lisa what we needed to consider, and she crafted us the perfect menu - and was also so gracious when we kept adding and taking away items in trying to balance food and budget. The transition for postponing the wedding and to working with K.D. was seamless, and K.D. was so ready and professional with reminding us of deadlines, answering all of our questions (some even a bit miscellaneous) leading up to the day-of, and dealing with last-minute issues without us even having to think about them.

Throughout the whole process, both Lisa and K.D. were incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs and wants. We had tastings at several catering companies and decided that Austin Catering really came through in quality, taste, appearance, and price for wedding food. During our reception, Austin Catering staff continually made sure we always had the food and drink we wanted in hand and even set aside portions of appetizers for us at dinner in case we missed them!

Even a couple weeks after our wedding, our guests were still raving that the food was some of the best wedding food they've had! You cannot go wrong with hiring Austin Catering for your wedding!

I previously posted a poor review over some very inefficient service that we had at a wedding reception. The food was delicious and Austin Catering worked with our dietary restrictions. Unfortunately there was a mishap regarding the service. I spoke with our representative about this and she took it very seriously. They worked to resolve the issue. I do recommend that when you hire any caterer, be very clear as to how the service is to take place and how the food will be presented to your guest.

Hired Austin-Catering for a retirement party with Austin Party Cruises and both did a fantastic job at a decent price. The food was fantastic and we didn't have to worry about anything. They took care of setting up, serving and clean up without any supervision or direction. Perfect execution. And the food was FANTASTIC.

Austin Catering blew all of our expectations of wedding food out of the water - they took our "breakfast for dinner" theme and ran with it, making an unforgettable menu of almond-crusted chicken and waffles and a brisket benedict - our guests RAVED about it. Not to mention they made donut holes for us! Can't recommend them enough - they took care of all the staffing and clean up and prep. worth every penny!

Austin Catering is awesome! I highly recommend this team. We hired them as our food caterer for our wedding, and everyone loved their dishes. My wife and I received SEVERAL compliments on the food, while some even asked how to make it. Prior to the wedding, you are given several food options to choose from. They even catered to my vegan friends. The food tasting was an enjoyable little experience and K.D., our main point of contact, was very nice, professional, and courteous.

During the day of the wedding, the crew was well-mannered and helpful. They made sure the bride and groom got all the food and drink they wanted. I did not hear a single complaint from the guest about this company's crew. If you want your food and wedding done right, choose this team. Seriously, they're great.

K.D. and her team did a fabulous job catering my wedding on 6.19.21. I received so many compliments from friends/family on how good the food was! K.D. was responsive and easy to work with! We did passed heavy appetizers instead of the traditional sit down dinner, and it turned out perfect. Some of the guests favorites were the Mac and cheese, shrimp/grits, brisket quesadillas, stuffed avocado, and sliders.

Austin catering co. The response time to get a proposal is extremely long. We ended up going with someone else that contacted us faster, even when we call them days after.

Austin Catering is a "Yes" vendor. If you have an idea for your venue set up or a type of food you want for dinner or late night snacks, chances are they will say yes and make it happen for you. Austin Catering catered my wedding at a logistically challenging venue, and could not have done a better job. They were able to quickly and beautifully flip the venue from the ceremony to the dinners space without a hitch.

The food was absolutely incredible and we received tons of compliments from our guests! Our guests even asked us for Austin Catering's phone number so they could get the recipes. KD and the Austin Catering team were incredible to work with and my wedding would not have been the same without them!

Austin Catering is seriously one of the best in the industry. I work for a venue in Austin, TX (Springdale Station), and they are our number one most recommended catering company. Their food is AMAZING - such a large variety of food options. But, most importantly - their service is outstanding. A lot of times couples/clients don't know the importance of hiring companies with good service because it's usually their first time doing it - good service is important because it sets the tone throughout the event. Things like not slamming the door during toasts, or always being professional around guests.

I cannot speak highly enough about Austin Catering. They actually catered my wedding last year - which I think says a lot considering how many companies I work with. A perfect example of their amazing service: originally we had mac and cheese on the menu because it's my favorite food, but we ended up swapping it out because it didn't go with the rest of the meal. KD (the event manager) knew it was my favorite food, so she made sure they added it to my plate even though it was no longer on the menu.

Thank you Austin Catering for lunch this week. We had the privilege of receiving a to go order from Austin Catering this week. With all of the hustle and bustle of getting back to work, having Austin Catering to go was a great resource. Ordering was fast easy and friendly! The pick up was just as easy. The Caramelized Onion Mash Potatoes where savory and Field Green Salad with strawberries, candied pecans, & champagne vinaigrette was refreshing! We look forward to trying all the other menu items! Thank you Austin Catering!

My experience with Austin Catering was an amazing one. Their warmth and professionalism was second to none. The food was so good, and all of my guest were thoroughly impressed. I would quickly and confidently recommend them.

We had the pleasure of working with K.D. at Austin Catering and have nothing but great things to say! Throughout the whole planning process, it was clear that K.D. was very knowledgeable and a great resource to go to for advice and suggestions. One thing that really made Austin Catering stand out to us was the way they plate their food. I was very hesitant to do a buffet style food service at my wedding, but seeing their food presentation and how everything was plated on beautiful serving dishes and not standard chaffing dishes was a huge plus!

Most importantly though, the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Our friends and family raved about the food and drinks - specifically the smoke salmon. I am still amazed that they were able to keep the food tasting so delicious when feeding around 200 people. The whole evening truly couldn't have been better and Austin Catering played a major role in making it so special. I only hope to one day plan another event in Austin so that we can use Austin Catering again!

We tried one of the specials of the week- Spanish Tapas Trio and it was delicious. Excellent price for the quality of food. It made for an easy pick up and Friday night dinner at home with a bottle of wine and a loaf of their fresh focaccia. Yum!

I can't say enough good things about this place. My boyfriend and I have frequented their meal delivery/pick up services that they started during the COVID lockdown. Everything has been absolutely delicious. So far we have tried the breakfast strata, custom cheese flight for two, meatloaf, herb crusted beef medallions and the burgers. The desserts are also amazing. This is a great option for anyone looking for delicious food outside the normal door dash delivery fare. We can't wait to try other things on the menu!

For our winter wedding, the smoked salmon and macaroni and cheese were the absolute show stoppers. People were talking about Austin Catering's food for weeks after and some people went back for seconds! I highly recommend them. We chose Austin Catering because they were affordable and had a great variety to satisfy my foodies and my pickies. At the tasting, I knew I picked correctly.

They made boring green beans delicious! Anything they cook will taste great. K.D. was great to work with. I made a lot of changes throughout the months and I never felt like I couldn't. Even though I had a smaller wedding of 75, I still felt like I got the attention and service I deserved. The team was professional the day-of, and they provided my groom and me with to-go dinners just in case we didn't get to eat much at the ceremony.

We had them contract with Texas Pie Company to bring in pies (served with HEB creamy creations of course), which I highly recommend. They served the cake and pie. We provided the alcohol, and they provided the bartenders. Photos-TankGoodness Photography-

Austin Catering has recently completed the second wedding in our family with 3 daughters. It just doesn't get any better than this for food, service and professionalism. The presentation is so well done, the details were well taken care of and the staff was very friendly and attentive. They took care of things I did not even know to think about.

We have also used them for a couple of company Christmas parties at our favorite local winery, Bent Oak Winery. They are the only catering company we will use (hopefully for the third wedding) for all of our group events.

Austin Catering provided two meals for us - a 100 person TexMex wedding reception in Round Rock and a brunch in my Austin city backyard. From start to finish, they were professional and easy to work with. Food was great, service extraordinary. Happily recommend Austin Catering.

Simply amazing. From the initial inquiry and tasting through clean up on our wedding night the Austin Catering crew was phenomenal. KD helped coordinate everything behind the scenes then on the actual day the on-site team (Emily, Mervyn and so many others) made everything perfect. The food was phenomenal plus the team was so kind and friendly that it felt more like they were friends than servers.

We received so many compliments on the food and bartenders that we are happy to shout praises from the rooftop for this amazing company. So stop searching and hire them immediately!

We used Austin Catering for our company holiday party last year. I wasn't part of the initial planning but from what I heard and experienced, it was a rocky start. The day of the holiday party, they were late setting up and we were told prior that we wouldn't have to prior linens for the buffet table. However that changed during set up of the event.

Now the food was blah. Definitely nothing to write home about. It could have been we just picked the wrong option but it was not hot. The only thing that I enjoyed was the tostadas. Since we did not enjoy our experience, our company was offered a credit to use within the next year. I'm currently planning a small event for 30 people at the office and reached out to Austin Catering (K.D.).

I only wanted to spend the amount of the credit and have the food as a drop off service. After two weeks of emailing back and forth, the proposal that was sent totaled to more than the credit and I was told that they were no longer available on that date. I emailed them 8 days ago and requested that the credit be refunded to us by check and that we will not be using Austin Catering in the future. I have not received a response since.

We had 100 guests at our daughter's wedding at Star Hill Ranch. K.D., and Austin Catering served the best food we have EVER had at a wedding. Great service as well - our guests were very impressed!

Austin Catering did a wonderful job catering the Wedding Welcome Dinner I hosted on the rooftop of the Austin Central Library. The staff was very professional, the planning was super efficient, and the food was delicious and got accolades. Everything was professionally managed from start to finish including arranging for lighting and linens, and I was able to relax and enjoy all of our guests. I highly recommend and I hope to be able to use them again.

What an amazing experience. Austin catering catered my wedding. Ill start with saying i didnt have a very large budget and austin catering is one of the highest rated caterers in austin. So although I was sure they were worth the money, I just didnt have a lot to work with. However, Christy worked with me until we found something in my price range that was perfect!

She must have shown be 12 proposals and in the end she felt like family. I had to do everything online as I am stationed out of state and she was so flexible and helpful! As for the wedding day, AMAZING service! We provided alcohol for sangria and I thought we would need to cut the fruit, or help out. NOPE they did it ALL! Can't say enough about them

Simply AMAZING. Honestly, I wish they had a restaurant I could go to. My wedding food was very important to me and they fully nailed it. Our guests even complimented on how good it all was. KD was exceptional in how she replied to all my concerns and worked with us. They set up our rentals and took care of everything for us. Hire them! You seriously won't regret it. From start to finish, so professional and wonderful at their job. Thank you for everything!

Austin Catering did an awesome job on our NYE bash. They helped with the menu, came to see the space and arrived 2.5 hrs ahead of the start to ensure a smooth start. Everyone was professional and helpful. The food was outstanding, everyone raved about it! In years past I used Royal Fig, who were good but not this good. They handled everything from the glass rental to beautiful flower arrangements. I couldn't be more pleased. I will definitely use them again!

I think it's a general issue for all brides to NOT eat or drink anything during their wedding - but with Austin Catering and the help of our planner Bethany Thomas from En Pointe Weddings (http://www.enpointeweddings.com/) we actually DID get to eat! In fact, Austin Catering assigned us a PERSONAL waiter named Victor (per Bethany's request/suggestion) who brought us waters, drinks, meals - anything we needed!

We took 15 minutes post vows to eat and take a moment with each other in our getting ready suite, and the meal was AMAZING. Latin inspired pork, chicken, veggies, salad - so good! I heard that a few folks didn't feel full, but we opted for Family Style meals - so that could have been a problem at just one table. I didn't get to see much else after that, but I've heard nothing but great things about them from the guests.

Even my big italian family LOVED the meal, and they can be wary of anything outside of pasta. They were great - they helped set up, tear down, mix drinks, you name it! They even booked us in for a fast tasting on Dec 22 - which is a REALLY busy time of year. They picked up linens, bussed tables, and helped clean red wine spills. We even had a young guest (2 years old) who got really sick during the dinner, and the parents had to take him home fast - and Austin Catering boxed up three meals "to go" for them! They provided vendor meals at a discounted rate, and were generally awesome.

We recently had our wedding at the Vista on Seward Hill on 11/4 and went with Austin Catering for our food, linens, and beverages. We got engaged a few months after moving to Portland, OR from Austin and decided that having our wedding in Austin would be the best choice. Having to plan a wedding from halfway across the country was overwhelming, but K.D. made everything so easy!

We kept in touch via email the entire time and she was so helpful and attentive and answered my billion silly questions! On the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. The food was amazing, the drinks kept coming, the staff was helpful and friendly and right on top of everything making sure our day went as smoothly as possible. I would absolutely recommend Austin Catering to anyone and everyone!

Austin Catering is your caterer! They were wonderful in every sense - everything you could dream of for a caterer. When looking at other caterers, they were the most professional, had the best tasting food, and price. They were organized and gave me the sense that I would not need to stress out, if I hired them (interviewed other vendors, which seemed disorganized= more stress for the bride).

I worked closely with Audrey - and let me tell you, she is amazing. I was probably the most indecisive bride she's EVER had- but Audrey was super patient with me and all of the millions of questions I had. I changed my mind so many times, but she always updated the proposal and immediately sent it my way. Everyone at my wedding raved about the food and kept saying how delicious it was - now who doesn't want to hear that feedback? Austin Catering is the way to go - trust me, you won't regret it!
