Great place quality product, but long lines and high prices. It's nice to have, but I certainly don't so they're on a regular basis

Cannot emphasize enough as a business point of view how well this place is run. From friendly staff, quick service and clean / maintained floors. Everything about here is what you should expect a well ran business to be. If your new to the area you can find yourself with a shopping cart full of stuff. I popped for the sakes of it and as I was walking around I found myself getting a bunch of healthy snacks for the work week.

I think I did well passing up the candy store despite it all looking delicious. I checked out the deli and found myself getting a sandwich for lunch. Although eating a sundae first spoiled the thought of eating it now. I know where this place for when I am in the area. Certainly worth coming in and supporting your local community.

Holly in the bakery made our wedding cake dream come true. Couldn't have imagined a more beautiful and unique cake! Everyone couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was (red velvet).

Kind of an Oasis in the middle of nowhere! Can't recommend the meatloaf sandwich as it was pretty dry, but the rest of the deli menu looked complete. Nice friendly staff. You've got to get a dozen cider donuts. They're absolutely killer--worth the stop alone!

I take all out-of-towners for a good produce shop and to browse through the mustards, candies, olive oils, teas, etc. There are always new, interesting, and high quality types of produce widely available at Atkins. The prices for produce aren't outrageous, and that's a win. The rest of the grocery section is overpriced but I do manage to impulse buy a little something each time I go in. The general consensus is that the Cider Donuts aren't to be skipped. You can buy a half dozen either in the aisle prebagged or fresh from the case.

Excellent sandwiches! Their 1/2 sandwiches are huge and definitely enough. I had a tuna with lettuce tomato and provolone it was excellent! Their old fashioned donuts are delicious. My grandchild loves the cookie club.

Worst grilled cheese sandwich ever! Waited 25 minutes, everyone that ordered after me was gone (7 other customers with multiple items) and then they tell me that it took longer because it was grilled. Seriously, own the fact you lost the order, apologize and make it correctly. Nope, got handed toasted bread with two cold slices of cheese thrown in within a minute. Hummm, don't recall a grilled cheese being cold and unmelted. Would have appreciated honesty and a properly made sandwich. Not shopping here again, mistakes are forgiven, dishonesty is not.

Before today, I hadn't been to Atkins in years after growing up right next to it. They've expanded many times over the years since being a small farm stand with local veggies and a small bakery and deli. They're now a full blown grocery store, however you'd need to have massive disposable income and/ or an unlimited budget to actually do all your grocery shopping here.

Due to their prices, for most of us Atkins is neat place to visit for browsing, and to purchase only an occasional bag of their cider donuts, or a couple local produce items when on sale, or a handmade trinket or plant as a gift for splurge worthy recipient.

What an interesting market. I was shocked to see Ambrosia Salad available in their salad bar. That was incredible to me. The selection of foods was considerable. I found a bag of State Line Potato Chips that I haven't seen in twenty years. We bough Apple Cider donuts, gourmet coffee, fruit, salad dressing.just so many types of food to choose from.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I have never been to Atkins Farms since I don't live in Western Massachusetts. But the next time I'm in the Amherst area, I'm going back to see what's new.

Exactly one year ago today I stopped in to get 2 gift baskets. The pre-made ones didn't have what I wanted. So they said they would do 2 Custom baskets and it would be 30mins. I went around the store and got everything I needed for the 2 baskets and then waited 30mins and they were all done. Today I called to find out if they were still doing custom baskets and they tell me 48hrs notice.

I said a year ago you did it on the spot and now you are telling me 48 hrs. Absolutely horrible customer service. I have to drive 100 miles to go here and going twice 2 days before Christmas is crazy. This is why they DESERVE 1 STAR!

A great place to shop in the fall with all of the local harvest; pumpkins, various squash, apples and much more. Fabulous produce and an excellent selection of micro brew beers

What a great country market. It's beautifully laid out, well decorated for the season and they have a little of everything. In season, the apple cider donuts are absolutely amazing. Stop by you will not be disappointed.

Cute grocery store that offers a good selection of local produce. I really enjoyed the locally grown cantaloupe. The jam was ok, got the apricot and thought that it was a bit too thick making it hard to spread and taste wasn't anything out of the ordinary. The cider donuts are pretty good. Also tried the three cheese loaf bread, it was a bit dense and more doughy than yeasty.

On my way to the airport I stopped by for a cup of coffee and donuts. Typically I am not a sweets gal. Let me tell you! These apple cider donuts are where it is at! Moist, and the perfect amount of sweetness. The coffee was fresh and hot too! The whole experience was pleasant even during covid times. Thank you!

Atkins is a lovely market that provides fruit and vegetables from not only local farms but from their own as well. Excellent quality at good prices. Can't beat the homemade taste of their fudge and other bakery items. Atkins reminds me of a Trader Joe's but more focused on the local aspect by selling locally made products. I respect them for that.

They have a deli and you can get sandwiches prepared while you wait. While waiting in line to check out (the line goes quick!), take a peak at the lovely indoor plants they have along the way. I get tempted to take one home every time I'm there! I also can't forget to mention during the fall season, they have great prices on luscious full mums and huge pumpkins. P.S. don't leave without getting your hands on their handmade apple cider donuts! You'll thank me later.

Beautiful place, so organised, the produce looks amazing. Everything is clean and the layout is intuitive and makes sense. The staff is so helpful and friendly. It really looks like a cozy gift shop inside and out, 100% recommended. There are local, sustainable and eco friendly options. The bread is fresh and not a single one is stale. The selection for houseplants and produce is stellar and there's plenty of variety. After shopping in the stale, pallid grocery stores in big cities, you'll appreciate the vibrant quality of the inventory in this market.

I love this Atkins Farm and Food. They have anything you want. They're known for the Cider Donuts which are delicious. But their food is always so good, and good prices. i wish i lived just 2 miles from there, i would probably be there each day to get fresh veggies, and meat.;o They also have things for the children, and a great arrangement of gifts, and Pumpkins in October! Also a beautiful amount of gifts and stocking stuffers for Christmas. Thank you for being there Atkins, i will keep going over and over!

This is by far the cleanest and most beautiful market I've been to so far. There's a wide selection of high quality produce, a bakery full of fresh goods, and a deli with a wide selection of meats. This is a great place to visit for plants and flowers, as their flower shop is a bit small but full of variety. The employees were kind and helpful. Overall, this is a great place to visit with a warm, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend!

As a UMASS alum and parent of a recent grad and a current student, I, surprisingly, had never been to Atkins Farms' flagship store (I had been to their store in North Amherst which, sadly, recently closed.) My younger son and I went for a visit last week to find a bustling scene with long line to get in. The line moved quickly and were surprised at the vast array of offerings from fresh produce to baked goods to gourmet foods to deli to meat and seafoods, prepared foods; you name it! And it's a great spot to make your fall pumpkin-picking pilgrimage! We'll be back soon!

Stopped in with the missus and her mamma for a wee little bit of Christmas shopping and some grub. The place was crowded but not so much that it wasn't enjoyable. There was plenty of parking which was easy in and easy out. Plenty to look at and just browse part of your day away. We had them make us a few sandwiches and we all got Reubens, both corned beef and pastrami and grabbed a couple of coffees and pastry to finish up our adventure. A wood burning stove would've been the iceing on the cake.

Atkins Farms is a great place. Much improved since my last visit. They offer apple picking in the fall and on the Saturday we stopped in they had a scarecrow making event and a lovely selection of pumpkins and gourds for fall decorating. The store and eating area is beautiful. Great selection of produce, spices, a full bakery, maple syrup, candy, etc. I had a delicious apple cider do-nut. Tons of people hanging out there on a beautiful Saturday fall afternoon. Great local business!

4/5 overall, 3/5 for donuts! Not very crowded around 10:00AM on a Sunday. Pros: -Donuts! Way more varieties than I thought--both cake and yeast. -Donuts are inexpensive -- Staff donut recommendation: cider donut $1.98 for 2 donuts Cider Donut Small cake donut with sugar coating. Soft cake that was a bit dry. Would definitely be better warm. Honey Dip Plain glazed donut. Very thick. Good amount of glaze, but not particularly memorable.

The first time I saw Atkins Farms was during my last visit when we were taking the back roads way to the Trader Joes in Hadley. I distinctly remember wanting to stop because the farm looked so inviting, and finally on this visit I got to do so. The overall word to describe Atkins farm is 'Charming', it is exactly that. Not only is it very well organized with country style decor but all the items just seem to motivate you to stroll down the isle and spend probably more than required time there.

There are loads of local items there and a great treat for those of us from out of town who are looking for something unique to bring back to family or friends. All of this being said, if I were a local, I'd probably only shop the sale items which are definitely worth it. On our visit they had 3lb bags of sweet onions for 99 cents, dude. Not only that but we picked up this incredibly smooth shiraz wine from Austria for only $6, just an incredible value! Last but not least, the apple cider donuts; do it.
