Disposable Drop off ($35) - All food is delivered in disposable pans and on disposable trays. All necessary plastic ware (plates, forks, knives, napkins) and serving utensils are included. Set up- Drop off ($175) - We will set up a beautifully decorated buffet; the hot food will be in chafing dishes, all else will be trayed up or in baskets.
All of our sauces, stocks, & a variety of breads are made fresh & in house. We use only the finest ingredients available, & patron local growers & vendors whenever possible. Entree Selection comes with your choice of two side items, Garden or Caesar Salad, Fresh Rolls & Whipped Butter. Salmon Roulade Stuffed with Spinach, Artichoke, Lemon & Tarragon with Parmesan Bread Crumbs.
Unique event panning, design and styling. We are known for our network of Kansas City's finest vendors, unique style and detailed timelines. One of a kind, custom wedding cakes to meet individual ideas and creative expressions. All cakes are baked to order, using vanilla rolled fondant and homemade buttercream icing.

They provided a banquet for my church at a High School gym on April 30. The food was wonderful and I could absolutely stay on my diabetic diet. (Except for the perfect cheesecake! ) As a former youth minister, I was so glad to see they employed so many young people who did an excellent job. The tables were set up in such a way, it was easy to walk among the tables. BRAVO! BRAVO! Kudos all around.

Above & Beyond was amazing to work with for our wedding! The buffet table looked incredible and the food was amazing! Roxanne and I communicated openly throughout our entire planning process, and she easily adjusted to our needs as our date and menu selections changed. She quickly responded to any question I sent her way. We loved the option to use actual dinnerware instead of disposable. The staff was very professional and really on top of everything from clearing plates to serving our cake! 100% recommend Above & Beyond!

Just wanted you to know how pleased we were with the 'High Tea'. The presentation of the sandwiches, the garnishes - all perfect. Beyond that, the flavors were excellent. The curry chicken was most popular but all were delicious, fresh, and unique. Cucumbers and apples were crisp and bread was the perfect softness for tea sandwiches. We had VERY little remaining at the end of the shower.
Lots of comments on the scones - moist, great flavor, and perfect with the Devonshire cream and lemon curd. The lemon curd was a big hit. I had several guests ask about you and I wish I had asked for some of your cards. High Tea is not something everyone 'gets' and the consensus from my guests and my sisters, who helped in the planning, is that - you nailed it. Seriously, my sister spent 4 years in England. Nicely done. Thanks so much and all the best!

Hired for daughters wedding. I couldnt ask for more. Kayla was just wonderful. Worked with us on menu and accomodated us going the extra mile with decorations and appetizers. Buffet was set up beautifully and tasted wonderful! Everything went off without any hiccups. Staff was friendly and kept buffet full and appetizers passed out prior. I recommend them for your next event. Just cant say enough of how satisfied we are with them and the customer service we received!

My wife and I used Above and Beyond Catering for our wedding reception back in October 2018. We also used their in-house event space (Black on Burlington). As far as the space and the food went it was great. However, we did get gifts stolen from our gift table the night of the event. This included cash, cards, gift cards, and checks totaling a sum of several thousands of dollars.
As part of our contract with Black on Burlington we had to hire additional security guards at an additional cost to us and clearly they did nothing. During an investigation by the North Kansas City Police Department we found out that the key suspect was an employee of Black on Burlington or Above and Beyond Catering. We also found out that over the past 18 months or so there had been several incidents of stolen cash, purses, wallets, and other valuables from Black on Burlington that the management was fully aware of!
Management made no effort to inform us of these past events and provide a secure event for our wedding night. Instead they kept it a secret and even advised us to place the gift table next to the exit! After several thousands of dollars was stolen from us, neither Black on Burlington nor Above and Beyond Catering claimed any responsibility. There are no on-site security cameras and anyone can come and go as they please.
Do not trust Black on Burlington or Above and Beyond Catering with your business. They do not share the responsible morals of honesty, security, and transparency that come along with being a decent human being. But they will gladly take your money. PS - I waited until now to post this review due to the active investigation by the North Kansas City Police Department.

Roxanne, you and your team CRUSHED IT. The food that Above & Beyond prepared and served at our reception was delicious, plentiful, and served so beautifully and expediently (particularly given the large crowd and unique venue setup!). I can't thank you enough for your help in providing a delicious meal and setting to our friends and family. Your staff were so pleasant and helpful, even when they had been on their feet for hours and hours and transporting all of the material in from outside in the cold! What incredible food served by an incredible crew! Thank you from Mr. & Mrs. Morris!
