A Catered Affaire' Inc. was established in 1991 by two young men, Keith and Doyle, who had a vision and a passion to serve elegant delicious food to their communities. Over the years; they have provided countless meals and services throughout the Greater Lansing region as well as surrounding areas. A wild ride and 31 years later, Keith and Doyle decided retirement would be their next adventure. They passed the torch to two young women, Jessie and Jessica who had been working alongside them for many years.

We serve Lansing, Michigan and the surrounding area! Offering a wide range of catering options for a small gatherings, private settings, wedding catering or larger public events. We can assist you in all of your planning, headcounts, how you want your event to run and even the setup and clean up if you desire!
Please know, due to food licensing laws we are unable to serve food that was NOT prepared in our kitchen. We take pride in delivering an exceptional service for your event and the safest environment as possible. For any event that is not being catered by A Catered Affaire' we are only able to provide staffing services as they relate to bartending and staff, which also excludes equipment.
Our experienced team at A Catered Affaire' is ready to assist you with your extroadinary day! We offer full-service catering for weddings of all shapes and sizes! This can include: menu and timeline planning, linen rentals, plasticware and/or china services, table setting, beverage service, cake cutting, bartending and catering equipment rentals.

Jessie from A Catered Affair was fabulous to work with! She was accommodating, flexible, and extremely professional. A Catered Affair was extremely affordable, and the food was delicious. We selected a buffet service, and the servers helped the line move quickly so our guests were able to get their food in a timely fashion.

A Catered Affaire was a preferred vendor of our venue (Michigan Wildlife Conservancy) regardless, we would definitely be happy to work with them again. The food was simple and delicious. At the tasting they answered all of our questions and provided us with good examples of the food we were going to have at our wedding, as well as went over different options for cocktail hour and dinnerware.
The staff was extremely professional, and followed my request to wear masks with no complaints or problems. They always say people will remember the food at your wedding, and if they do they will have nothing but nice things to say about mine!

A catered affaire catered our wedding last month and did a GREAT job! They worked so hard to make sure that everything was perfect from the place settings to the food. We had about 135 guests. The price is super reasonable and the staff is great. We met with Doyle for a trial before the wedding and he was very accommodating. Cannot recommend this catering company enough!

I ordered here for my wedding reception. We order baked chicken, herb crusted tilapia with red mashed potatoes, green beans or brocolli, Cesar salad and dinner rolls. We had numerous complaints about the fish being overcooked the tilapia portion being cut in half (literally one piece of tilapia was cut in half to serve two people) the vegetables were served cold and the dinner rolls were hard.
They charged over 1100 plus 250 to have it served and the staff would not even serve the head table. And when I complained they response was this is our number one dish. I even sent several complaints directly from the wedding guest and I received no response back. Worst food ever
